Response 3H
Shelley dove through the booth after the centipede and started crawling through the wreckage when he finally registered what he had just read. Again??!! the thought, and its consequences, drove him to his feet so fast he bashed his shoulder against a crate, spilling its contents and sending a bolt of pain through him. Ignoring the pain, Shelley spun around so fast his head practically snapped off searching for the shop owner. Not that she was hard to find, practically standing right next to him, but with all the excitement Shelley was having trouble keeping his head on straight as it was.
"Hey," he said, once he'd finally found the owner of the shop. "What do you mean, 'again'? Have you seen that thing before?"

[Jun D's Estra & Ruriska's Talulah] RESPONSE: 3F
Talulah came to an abrupt halt, eyes locked upon the white robed figure that had just shoved through the City Folk. It brought back memories she was working hard to repress and only when the robe was torn off to reveal that laughing cat face did her heart stop racing.
The goldfish gave Estra had an extra squeeze and let the crowd carry them to the edge of the plaza. She paid no mind to the constable running down the alley below and instead her gaze found and followed the clockwork bird.
Oh, how pretty.
“Did you see it? It’s a bird!” Tali started to move towards the building. “Let’s see if we can catch it.”
Estra was still recovering from the cultist scare when Tali pointed out the fluttering creature. "Oooo-oooooh!" she cooed, mesmerised, as she trotted along in Tali's wake, "Yes, let's! Vlad loves clockword birds - well, not that he'd say, but I know he does. If it doesn't belong to anyone, perhaps we could take it home!" He would be ever so angry with her that they'd gotten separated in the crowd, but if they took the little metal bird back, he might be too distracted to shout a lot.

Tempest had meant to stick with the dog until it was caught, but a glint of silver on the ground where the tail had fallen caught his eye. The lanky boy wheeled around to investigate, figuring that now that he'd pursued it this far, the constable could handle the dog. They were almost to a place where the dog couldn't go anywhere else, weren't they?
Tempest dove to his knees to shelter the strange, silvery object from the crowd. He reached for the tail it had come from and investigated - hollow. Were clockworks supposed to have hollow tails?
Tempest looked down at the ribbon that had unfurled from inside the tail, trying to discern what, precisely, it was. "Hey," he called, straightening up. "Hey, I found something-"

Tiberius was so focused on the bird, he didn't even notice the crowd parting for him. Nor did her hear the hushed murmurs. He lost sight of the bird twice, but both times it's wobble set it apart from the rising streams of text. Vair Market was usually busy but today it was crowded. It wasn't the ideal place to be when tracking something. The small clockworks disappeared from his sight again. Just when Tiberius thought he'd lost it, a small glint of copper on the edge of the market caught his eye.
The bird flew down the a small side street. The book child was glad to leave the ramble of the market behind, it was hard to keep track of the small bird when it was so crowded. Suddenly, the bird veered and entered a window. Tiberius stopped and looked at the house. The pain on the shutters was peeling, the boards weathered and worn. It had the appearance of an abandoned building but...
Why would the very suspicious clockworks bird enter an abandoned house? He opened the door. Either someone was using this as a hide-out or the bird had simply lost the ability to fly. He'd find out soon enough.
