Loveme.Ͼɑɩɳ Ͼɑɳɗʏ Cain looked back at him again as he was hugged. He had a feeling that Zev wasn't completely kidding about it...but he brushed it off anyway and covered it up with a small smile. Maybe he really did want to see what Cain had been hiding, too. He took his hand again and smiled at him. "Okay," he told him gently and moved back in front of him, pulling him along into the woods. "It's a little further into the forest than people usually go... I guess that's how no one else has found it yet, I guess. Or...maybe they have... I'm not quite sure..," he rattled off as they walked, not wanting them to walk in silence. "I mean, it's pretty interesting. I dunno why if anyone found it before they wouldn't say anything about it..." He trailed off there, not wanting to tell Zev his whole story yet.

Zev was becoming mildly interested now. He'd ventured far into the woods himself due to being a werewolf child at some point, and he'd never seen anything interesting enough to make him want to tell everyone like Cain said someone would want to. He allowed himself to be taken further into the woods.

Loveme.Ͼɑɩɳ Ͼɑɳɗʏ Cain looked back at him to make sure he wasn't getting bored. "It's not too much further now," he assured him, holding his hand a little tighter. He took a sudden sharp turn a few moments later through a group of trees and emerged into a small clearing with six trees in a circle around them. There was one with a colourful egg, one with a heart, one with an ugly bird, one with a four-leaf clover, one with a cylindrical object with what looked like sparks on it, and then one with a bright green tree with shiny bulbs and stars and things on it. At the base of the tree with the tree on it, there was a stack of what looked like red gifts in the form of steps. He walked up to the tree and turned around to face Zev. He took a deep breath and looked up at him. "This...is where I came from," he told him quietly, biting his lip a little as he watched his expression.

Zev looked around at all of the trees. They were interesting, some more so than the others. His favorite was the one that Cain stood in front of. The tree with the tree on it. "You came from here?" Zev asked. "I hope you mean this door, not this forest." He tried to bring some humor into the situation because honestly, he was confused.
Cain's appearance in Halloween Town was a mystery to everyone. He just...sorta showed up one day. No parents, no belonging other than his clothes, heck, even not even a name. That was decided later. So now, he was telling Zev that he came from...a tree?

Loveme.Ͼɑɩɳ Ͼɑɳɗʏ Cain let out a small laugh at Zev's words. "Yes, the door. Would you...would you like to see my home?" he asked him softly. "It's pretty cold...but I also don't have much blood in me anymore, so it could be a lot colder to me than it will be to you." He played with his fingers a bit. Luckily he had on a long-sleeved shirt that he just rolled the sleeves up on so if they did go in the door, he could roll them down and be a little warmer. "I...would really like to show you where I'm from..."

Zev smiled. "Alright, but before we go, why me? Why am I so important that you want me, of all people, to see your home, which is apparently the biggest secret of your life?" He crossed his arms. His stance told the world that just because he was questioning the motives, it didn't mean that he wasn't going to go.

Loveme.Ͼɑɩɳ Ͼɑɳɗʏ Cain blushed a light lavender at Zev's question. He messed with the stitching on his fingers and looked down shyly. "Because I... I feel really close to you...and...and I trust you...andIlikeyouand...I just...want to share it with you..," he told him quietly, timidly looking up at him. "A-Anyway, before we go in, I will tell you that I forgot to grab my coat, so if my body parts start falling off, don't freak out... It happens a lot..," he said with almost a sad tone to his voice. he reached forward and pulled open the door by a golden bauble. The door swung open with a slight creak and Cain smiled softly up at Zev. "It's probably gonna be a rough landing for you," he told him with a little giggle and stepped up the small staircase made of wooden presents. He looked back at him once more before hopping through the door into a swirling colourful abyss. You could hear laughter ringing up through the trunk before Cain's voice said, "Come on!" in a gleeful tone.

Zev's eyes widened. "Wait, Cain!" He ran forward, trying to stop himself from falling in the door himself. Cain's laughter was contagious, but he was too busy screaming to laugh at the moment. When they landed, Zev landed flat on his face in...something white. And cold. And everywhere.
Zev sat up and wiped the white stuff off his face. He picked some up to take a closer look at it. "What's this?" he asked, sniffing it. It had no scent. He licked it. It tasted like water. "What IS this?!" he yelled.

Loveme.Ͼɑɩɳ Ͼɑɳɗʏ Cain giggled when Zev landed and began freaking out. He took a step towards him and smiled. "It's called snow. It's like water, but frozen and in flakes. It's really pretty when it starts snowing," he explained with a wide smile on his face. He really loved being home again. Everything was so gorgeous and colourful and happy. "Would you like to look around? I can give you the grand tour. And show you my old house..." He held his hand out to Zev to help him up. "Come on. I might need you to hug me to keep me warm. My nose almost fell off a few visits ago." He laughed a little and his teeth chattered slightly, but he hardly noticed.
