imogen slowly followed him, she barely fit in the shaft and could barely breath to her it seemed like it was closing in on her, she ignored this feeling and continued to follow him "i hope this come out somewhere safe soon..."she said, wanting to getout as soon as possible.

"Must suck to have those things now huh?" Mouse said with a snicker. After a few more seconds, he reached the end of the vent. He climbed out and landed on the ground softly. He grabbed his M4 and turned on its light, then shined it around." Well, luckily for us it seems we've reached one of the dead parts of the city," he said quietly as his light shined over the blood that splattered the walls and streets of this part of the city. He shook his head slightly as the light passed over a small toy." Must've been a blood bath."

"yeah i guess..." she mutter with a glare. she crawled out and landed, almost dropping her sword in the process. she slung her katana back onto her back and looked around, grabbing her revolvers she walked over to him and looked around "must have been a lot of them..."

Mouse didn't say anything else, and walked over to a bottle that was lying on the ground. Someone had written Vodka on a white label and stuck it to the bottle. Mouse grinned, picked it up, and pulled off its lid. He chugged down half of it before stopping and taking a deep breath. Mouse looked over at the girl, and shook the bottle." Want some?"

imogen, took the bottle and took a chug, then handded it back to him. she gave a cough and wiped her mouth. she bit her lip and looked away while her fox insincts came back to pounce on him.

Mouse laughed at little." With the way you look at me, I can't tell if you want to eat me, or if you want to eat me," he said with a snicker and a grin. He held the bottle closely as he leaned against a wall. He took another sip of the bottle, then looked at her."So, what's your name?"

imogen shook her head with a tense laugh"imogen, what yours?" she asked as she sat next to him. she pulled out a revolver and examined it.

"Just call me Mouse. That's what everyone else calls me," he said as he looked up. After a few seconds, he tossed the bottle away and listened as it broke against a wall. He stopped leaning against a wall and took a few steps forward before turning around and facing Imogen." So, do you want to part ways, or do you wanna stay with me and wait for a chance to pounce me?" He asked her with a grin.

"well...ive got nothing better to do" she said as she stood up and walked away from the wall, "i guess i will stick with you." she said with an unsure tone.imogen walked up next to him."do ya know anywhere we can find some food?" she asked before her stomach gave a very loud growl.

Mouse reached into his pocket and pulled out a granola bar. He offered it to Imogen." It isn't much, but it should hold you till we find more. Just be glad smart mice keep food close by," he said, before turning around and walking down the street. He looked around at the buildings, listening to the silence the whole time." As far as I can tell we are alone, but it's only a matter of time before those things either hear us or pick up on our sent," Mouse said, just before the echo of a distant gunshot sounded." I guess we aren't the only survi-" Mouse started to say before an echoing scream cut him off." Never mind."

"thanks" imogen said before taking the granola bar and ripping the wrapper open.she ate it so fast she bit her tongue with her sharper than most humans teeth. she yelped.and looked off in the distance as she heard the gunshot and scream.

Mouse shrugged and started walking. Suddenly a ringing came from his pants. He quickly pulled out his phone and answered it." Hey....yeah I'm not sure where I am. I fell down to a lower level. I'll call back when I find a sign or something. Seeya," Mouse said before closing the phone and placing it back in his pocket. He acted like it was nothing important and kept on walking.

"so, you know people around here?" she asked, trying not to directly ask who he talked to and what he was doing before they met each other. imogen started kicking a rock around as they walked. she continued to kick it until she kicked it out of her walking path. she gave a sigh and looked around the empty city, listening for any sign of movement.

"No, not around here. I'm the only scout in the area. I was talking to someone in Asalus," Mouse said as he glanced over his shoulder." Anyways, make less noise. If there are undead around here I don't want to attract them. I also wanna listen to figure out if there is an Angel of Death following me."
