~Gathering water, The shells ,getting a new cave ~ Part One
The Shiny charmander was on her way to watering hole. Gathering water was one of her least favorite activities. The cave she had was at the bottom of a large mountain and she had to travel up the mountain or travel half a mile to get to water. She looked around and crinkled her face. She had an old top half of a shellder shell. She uses the shell to gather water and drink out of it. She decided she didn't want to deal with the grass, bug , and bothersome Pokémon of the land so she started to climb up the mountain. Not an easy task when you have a huge shell. She was nearly to the mountains stream when her shell dropped.
"Ohhh come on now" she spoke with some grief. It had taken her about an hour to travel to the right side of the mountain with the clean mountain water. Her shell landed on the ledge, to a possible cave she couldn’t tell. It didn't look easy to get to and to just drop down to get was not safe, she had no idea what was down there. She looked at the path to the river and decided to go to it and at least drink some water before trying to get her shell back.
On the path she saw a lot of rock Pokémon eating large chunks of ground. 'They seem to be in a good mood today' she noted to herself. This wasn't always the case. She loved the watering hole she was headed to, it was her favorite place in the land. At the same time the rock and ground Pokémon can be very scary at times. The rivers and streams on the level land were much easier to get to but crowed full of Pokémon and Charmanders tend to attract unwanted fights just because of their known nature and strong will. Emberz could normally put on a strong enough front to make people leave her alone.
Emberz acted so strong but really she loved the simple things in life. Yea she was strong and able to handle herself but she loves plants and butterflies. She couldn’t show this side of herself often, since the Pokémon around her would call her weak and she wouldn’t allow such disrespect. Yet when she was alone she would smell flowers and sing to the butterflies. She even once saw a group of Bellossom dancing. She loved how they danced, she would try to mimic them but her stumpy legs wouldn’t carry her.
She was at the watering hole now, she looked around ‘Clear’ she said to herself. She slowly bent over and started to drink some water. Charmanders have to be careful not to fall in water, in fear to fall in. Once she felt slightly filled she walked back to the ledge she dropped her shell from. “Ohh why couldn’t I have dropped it the way I came up, it would have been so much easier” she said out loud. She was normally careful about these things. She didn’t even know how it happened. She decided to go down a way from the path she took and then try to climb over since there didn’t seem to be any other safe way to this ledge.
As she started to swing over to the ledge her feet almost slipped and she dug in claws into the edge of mountain before she made a complete downward fall. “Come on Embz just keep trying” she said to herself. Shellder shells in that good of condition where hard to come by. She was now by the edge of ledge and quickly launched on nearly falling off. “I DID IT” she shouted. She wasn’t normally so brave and was excited she could do such a task. Her excitement turned to being puzzled when she saw a beat up Pokémon nearly dead and now extremely upset. The ledge they were on did not lead to a cave instead it was just a large smooth rock sticking out from the side of the mountain. Emberz couldn’t believe what she was looking at, her shell was about ten feet away from a Cloyster who was foaming at the mouth. Emberz realized he was trying to use a water move. She inched closer to him “I don’t want to hurt you, just stay right here ok” she said with empathy. She grabbed the shell and made kind of a guiltily face. She was about to go back up the mountain and try to get this poor water type some water. She couldn’t just put it out of its misery. She kept trying to climb holding the shell, but the ledge was straight up and she had to use her hands.
She couldn’t believe this she never felt so helpless in her life. She kept trying but started to feel whipped out. It was just than She felt a strong breeze and her eyes shut.
