The Milotic turned back to her, utterly surprised, and than he was sucked into the orb without another moment sparing him time to escape. The sphere rattled in her hand one . . . twice . . . than a final third time before settling with a little, low ping. Her face spread out into a smile and suddenly, her arm fell upwards towards the heavens.
"Hallelujah!" Cetus shouted childishly as she waved the Pokeball around, but suddenly halted when she noticed Osmond staring at her with a kiddish grin. He was leaned against the tree nearby Algenubi, nodding towards the Pidgeot as he clattered his beak in greeting towards him. He than pushed himself from the trunk and strode towards her, tilting his head.
"Congrats," he replied, withholding a laugh. This only made Cetus sneer. He was terrible at hiding his delight. "Caught something worthwhile?"

Pushing away formalities on both sides, Cetus kissed him. It was most likely the best thirty seconds of her life in that moment when her lips met his for the second time that day. And, as always, he remained still and unmoving -- not even reaching to lace his hand to hers. Cetus was used to it, though she could never understand why.
"Yea, I, um, it's something more than worthwhile." she replied, breaking the smooch and returning to conversation as smoothly as she could. "I'll show you."
Osmond pursed his lips than nodded his head, prepping for whatever monstrosity she was going to show him.
Cetus thrust the ball into the air and her Milotic popped from it. He landed haphazardly on the nearby grass, curled awkwardly, until he fixed himself and tilted his head almost innocently at Osmond. The dark-skinned man was blown back a few steps. Dear Arceus, Shinju caught that?!
"S-Shinju!" he bellowed, stuttering. "Damn, Shinju, it's damn beautiful!"
"I know, right?" Cetus almost gushed. "I managed to catch it after Algenubi fought off um, his second meal." She didn't add the tidbit he nearly died from poisoning . . . or the blood on his breast was his own. Osmond likely put two and fish together and thought it was blood from the Seviper on sight. "I need a name for him . . . but I'm kinda stuck . . . "

"Well, you follow a theme, right?" Osmond asked, tilting his head. "Y'know, nicknaming your Pokemon after stars in Cetus."
"Yea, I do . . . what about-" Cetus than put two and fish together. "Oh, I see where you're going with this. What would be a good star?"
"How about Kaffaljidhmah?" Osmond inquired.
"No, that's a mouthful." Cetus replied. "Durre Menthor?"
"Does he look slow?" Osmond replied, drawing up a quizzical brow.
"Oh fine, um, what's the brightest star in Cetus?"
"Deneb Kaitos."
Cetus's teal eyes glittered. "Deneb Kaitos." she said, than reached a hand out to the Milotic. "I like that."
The Milotic nuzzled the tip of his head into her gloved hand, slithering closer to rub his face against hers. Osmond watched on for a few more moments, grew impatient, than twisted up his mouth.
"Are we going to be heading to the motel anytime soon?" he asked testily.
"Yea, yea, keep your p***k on, lover boy." Cetus replied wryly than withdrew Deneb Kaitos. Turning to her Pidgeot, she added, "You know where we'll be Algenubi, come get me at sundown."
"See ya later, Al." Osmond said, than waved the Pidgeot off. Algenubi only nodded towards Osmond than returned to his meal. Meanwhile, Cetus and Osmond disembarked for Hotel Morning.
