It always made him sleep if not fall asleep. "And it would be more like alone time for me. I couldn't let some rowdy friends ruin this nice atmosphere." He lifted his pencil from his sketch, still keeping track of the time.

As the time passed, Marcuse kept up his sketch while sneaking glances at his waitress. He even waved a little when she caught her smiling at him. Soon, he was about ready to leave. His drink was done and the warm cookies were all gone. He looked up at Nerissa as she came by, taking in the information. "Well, I think I'll have to take you up on that offer." He let his fingers run through his mane of red hair. "I'll be able to finish, if you're there." He pulled the sketch he had been working on while sneaking glances at her. It was a rough sketch of the girl, most of the detail left out since he couldn't sit and look at her, but it was there. His waitress with a warm smile. "Hope to see you there." He stood up, gathering his materials and discarding a few things. He gave Nerissa a quick wave before heading out the door to go back home.
