Ling had been about to answer the other kitten when he felt something heavy land on his head. He gasped and lifted a paw to bat at it only to find another kitten there. He chuckled out loud and shook his head making the kitten slide to his back.
He looked then to the other kitten and smiled. "I'm Ling...King of this territory, and you little miss are on my lands." He puffed out his chest and chuckled. "Are you alone?"

The small kitten nodded as she spotted the other kitten on Ling's back. "I got lost..." She stood up finally deciding that he was safe and moved closer. "I'm sorry." The kit was not so young that she didn't have any manners.

Feeling herself slide down the male's back, she giggled as she did so. "Whee!" Xia continued to purr like crazy, loving having fun. The cub's eyes looked at the other small cub like her and she grinned as only a child would at the prospect of having a new friend their age. 4laugh

Ling smiled down at the other kitten. "Lost eh?" He shook his head. "Well, if you would like I will take you in for the time being...you as well little acrobat." He laughed and flicked his tail back at Xia.
"I must return to my cave, if you like...you may follow me...I live alone so...I think you both will be good company for now..." He smiled and started to walk off in the direction of his cave.

Hearing his words and questions posed at the both of them, she was starving and so she nodded her head. She was thankful she found someone, even a big tough male, to take care of her. "My name's Xia." the pinkish cub told the both of them. "I no have parents either." Xia said, preffering to ride on Ling's back as he walked toward a cave and the air was hot and humid, the cave must be cooler than outside of it.

Ling looked back behind him to make certain the the other kitten was following them. He than continued on. He moved slowly, making certain that no one tried to take over his cave while he was away. He looked inside and nodded as he led the two cubs inside the cave. "Here...you'll be safe here."

The little one that walked sat down in the opening of the cave and looked at the other two. "My name is Nola...is this our new home?" She tilted her head at the cave and sniffed the air carefully. At that moment a rumble came from her tiny stomach. Nola blushed a little and layed down.

Ling moved around the den, pushing some larger, more jagged rocks aside as he set up their new home. He gathered some dried grass and made an area for the kittens to rest. He then looked to them both. bowing his head down to their level. "Food...right...?" He chuckled and wrinkled his nose at them.

a small grey-colored kitten walked up to the bunch "hello! i'm Akira" he said happily to the others his eyes large with excitement at finally seeing other lions.

Before he could get an answer from any of the kittens, Ling heard another voice. Turning to face that voice he gasped. Another kitten. He rolled his eyes and turned to face the little male. "Hello there little lad...may I ask how and why you wandered in here?"

Xia seemed to have grown over the night, now cub size and older than the other kitten that had joined with them lastnight. Her tummy grumbled too and she looked at Nola who's tummy did the same thing. As she was going to say something the other kitten showed his face. "Hello, Akira!" Xia said with a grin. "I can keep an eye on them while you go and get us food, Ling."

A little confused and lost, Shaitani wandered the lands aimlessly, looking for some sort of shelter to put himself up in. Through his wanderings, which had probably led him no where safe in most cases, he had come here. Slumping in the grass, he heard an adult male speak to others around. He listened, trying to understand anything that he was saying. Being so young, he had troubles with it though. He kept his position, hiding from the lion until he could find a decent time to sneak away unnoticed.

Ling nodded to Xia, the little one certainly was growing up fast. He chuckled and moved from the cave and out into lands surrounding it. He was intent on finding some food for, the now, three kittens that had wandered into his care. He didn't notice the new kitten nearby, and took off in the direction of the tall grass.
((Welcome to Shaitani, Ling will return shortly, he's dealing with many a hungry kitten. ^.^))

Akira looked up at ling for a moment then looked at his paws shuffling them nervously around in the dirt "i was just hoping i could join your pride" he said still looking at his paws "if t-thats ok.."

Shaitani watched as the group moved away. He considered leaving, but now he was curious, as most cubs were. He followed far behind them, watching carefully. Was he going to take the cubs into a cave and eat them? He smirked at the gruesome thought, chuckling silently to himself.
