He turned, looking to the girl intently with his one good eye. "I do suspect that war is rarely meant to be a pleasant thing, Miss Sutai." Perhaps he was feeling bold, or felt that the gesture would have warranted some sort of comfort, but he allow a gloved finger to jostle one of the girl's dangling earrings before catching it between his finger. There was a certain gentleness to the motion, as if he had quite a bit of practice with such with his own dangling seashell earrings.
He smiled kindly to the girl as she miserably attempted to hide her true feelings. "You are a brave girl to put duty before your feelings." He did think the girl was a bit foolish, since based off the manner she spoke, it was clearly obvious she had allowed herself to get attached to others on both sides of the war. The fewer attachments one had in a war, the less likely one was going to be manipulated or taken advantage of.
Finally he released her crystalline earring, and once more placed a finger under the girl's chin. "Make sure to hold your head high. You will seem more confident."

Sutai blushed under all the attention and praise, devolving into a gust of twitching limbs and unintelligible babble. Nysa was awful and she loved him for it. Why did these things have to be so hard? The Polaris Page smoothed out the hair that had gotten out of place and cleared her throat, turning back to her knightly superior. "I'll... I'll hold my head high, just for you, Mister Nysa." A few confident nods followed, indicating she would indeed try her best. You are a brave girl to put duty before your feelings. That phrase, she decided, would try to guide her in the best way possible. Becoming too attached would lead to sadness, especially if someone she was rather fond of did something horrible, but... how could one go through something as big as this war without having some sort of attachment to cling to when things became too much to bear? Sutai didn't know how to analyze that conundrum. Instead, she giggled to herself for a moment, working up the courage to lean in just close enough to whisper, "Mister Nysa... are you taken~?"

He pulled his finger away from the girl's chin. Nysa was about to turn away, but then the girl whispered to him.
A rather curious thing for a girl to ask a young man. In a rather cool manner, he allow one of his eyebrows to loft up, in a nearly inquisitive manner.
In a flirtatiously teasing manner, he asked her "Would there be a particular reason why you would be inquiring about such a trivial thing, Miss Sutai?" If he were less of a gentleman, he might have been inclined to push her buttons further with more physical contact. However, he had already brushed hand to chin upon a couple occasions now. Anything more would have been tasteless in his opinion.

The crystalline page devolved into girlish, schoolyard giggling, turning away from the handsome squire in an attempt to hide her face. "Oh Mister Nysa~ You know what I mean, right? I mean..." Dark hands started to play with her braid absently. Boys knew this sort of thing. They had to! Sure, they practically played on it, right? Granted, usually it was the boy asking the girl to date and not the other way around, but still! These were modern times and things like school dances hand themes where girls asked the guys, so... If this was her chance then, by Polaris' name, Sutai would be brave and step up to the plate! Besides, Squire Nysa was just so princely and handsome~. He was the definition of dreamy like in all those teen magazines. "Mister Nysa," she asked, turning back around to display a healthy blush and sparkling eyes, "would you be ever so kind as to be my boyfriend~?" emotion_kirakira emotion_bigheart

It wasn't the first time he had ever dealt with a young lady who was lovestruck. However, he rarely was on the receiving end of such affections. It was extremely adorable, but Nysa would not allow himself to get sucked in by such tactics on the girl's part. Someone needed to keep a level head about this whole ordeal.
"You can call me old fashioned, but I do think that the young man should be the one asking a similar question to the young lady." It might have been a disappointing response, but he said it in a playful tone which made it sound as if he had more he was going to say about the subject.
"My dearest Miss Sutai, it is bold of you to ask, but you know nearly nothing about me. You do not even know my name." He crossed his arms and straightened his already straight posture up so he stood ever so slightly taller (he wasn't exactly the tallest of lads in the world). It might have seemed like he was going to grow more serious if it weren't for the smile upon his face.
"I will offer you a challenge, Miss Sutai. The single rule is simple. You may not go to any other Celestial Shepherd for help with it. The challenge is to find out what my name is. If you can find such out, I will take you on a date."
A date was not as involved as being a young lady's boyfriend, but Miss Sutai did prove to be rather enjoyable company. He could offer to indulge her one time, but it was not something he'd merely just give her. Perhaps if she found out his name, she wouldn't even want to attempt a date with him.
"Are you up for the challenge, Miss Sutai?"

Sutai stood, dumbfounded and slightly saddened at Nysa's tone. Indeed, she knew little about him but he conducted himself like such a gentleman! What else did a lady need to know? Nysa was on the side of good and therefore he was a good person inside. Her princess would not have allowed him into the court if he was anything but amazing on top of that. So in Sutai's mind, Nysa was The Best Boyfriend Ever. He was just playing hard-to-get. Hands on her hips, Sutai listened intently to her instructions. She couldn't ask any of the Celestial Shepherds? That must've meant they knew Mister Nysa's real name and that would be too easy. Well fine! she thought to herself, face screwing up in determination. That doesn't mean I don't have alternatives! Tsui said I would make a great strategist so this would be an awesome opportunity to test out my investigative skills! Scooby Doo ain't got nothin' on me!The page nodded finally. "You bet I'm up to the challenge!" she said, hands balling into fists. "I'll find out your name and all sorts of important stuff and you'll be so impressed, Mister Nysa! Then we can go to some fancy restaurant and have dinner! I clean up very nicely, I promise! I'll be all fancy just for you! Just you wait and see!" Sutai then dropped a wink to her Soon-To-Be-Catch and rocketed off in a flurry of crystal and hair. Once she got it in her mind to start combing the city for info, it was all she could think about. She stopped just shy of three buildings from Nysa's position and waved. "Goodnight, Mister Nysa! You better watch out, okay~?"

The Page seemed quite eager. It seemed as if she had already come up with the plans for their evening in her head. He made certain to not laugh aloud, but instead kept his amusement to himself.
And then Sutai ducked out. She went on her way and only turned back to warn him. There was a chance that there was a double meaning, since he did have a wonderfully splendid injury over his eye due to not watching out. However, he was more than certain that the girl was hinting that he needed to watch out for there would be a girl trying to find him outside of this strange powered war.
"Good evening, Miss Sutai... until we meet again!" He allow her to bound off on her way and waited until she was out of sight before he also left.
