II Paradox II
Zangar merely nodded and watched in silence as Florian insisted on attempting to rid herself of debris, he might have pointed out that she would only collect more of it when they left the shelter..but that would likely only vex her more and if picking the pine needles out of her hair made her feel better about things, well then who was he to advise her against it. He certainly wasn't going to tell her not to give him attention and he gave her a warm look as she blew the needles from his back.
"You thought about becoming a warrior?." He asked her sincerely interested "I have never received any such training, in fact it's quite absurd how very little I know about fighting at all." He admit to her with a slight laugh, not that he was the type to go out looking for a fight anyways, but it probably could have come in useful a time or two. However it seemed like the subject was a bit of a sore spot for Florian and he reached forward to bump her gently with his nose "The purpose of life is merely to live, if you are supposed to have a calling well..it will find you when you are supposed to answer it I imagine." His words were meant to be comforting but he wasn't sure if they would be taken that way, it was hard for Zangar to wrap his mind about a calling or purpose in life, he had never been raised with that sort of expectation placed upon his shoulders - and in truth he was a rather glad of that.
"But if you had listened to Pan you wouldn't have my charming company..and more importantly you wouldn't have tried Elderberries. Everyone should try Elderberries at least once." He told her in a light joking tone to try and lighten the mood after the more more serious topic that had befallen them. "But I don't know what I will do - I rarely do to be honest, I just go where my feet take me."
