My favorite anime is Neon Genesis Evangelion! I found it to be the most interesting anime I have ever watched. I watched it when I was thirteen or fourteen and I did not understand much. I caught some of the references from religion and I understood them, but I did not really understand everything about the series. I read more about it and I have got to say that it is like the tip of an iceberg. There is so much underneath that iceberg that you did not realize. I found this series to be a great and I love the story along with the characters. I felt like a lot of psychology went into the series too and I do like that.
I do like Naruto, Bleach, Tenchi Muyo, Death Note, FLCL, Daibuster 2, Samurai Champloo, Elfen Lied, Soul Eater, Trigun, Gundam Wing, Lovely Complex, Princess Tutu, (I was hesitant, but it turned out to be a great series) and a lot more actually...I could list them all, but I think it would be a lot o_O! However, my favorite series is still Neon Genesis Evangelion and Naruto is most likely second o.o!
I don't really like the Hellsing anime, mostly because I just like the manga better.
Should I go in depth of why I like the other series? o__O I could...

I've read some of Elfen Lied, read/watched all the Soul Eater I can find, am steadily reading my way through Naruto, read all the Bleach I can find, and tons more it would take like hours to write out. And for Hellsing which version did you watch? The OVA is the best. It follows the manga almost exactly.

Sailor Moon holds a place near my heart cause I would watch it as a kid on VHS tapes. Happy memories! Tokyo Mewmew was probably the first one I really found, the non 4KidsTv version, Loved it at first sight, once I got past annoying eng dubs! I love the blood and darkness of Hellsing, the fun and fluffiness of Fruits Basket, the odd darkness of Madoka Magica, they're all so different! How can you pick one? But still all time fav is D.N.Angel.
