The expression on his face was different from when he'd been looking at the eye scream. There was heat, sure, but overlaying it was a definite gentleness, mixed with a touch of wonder and adoration.
"I guess the song can wait," he said. "Y'know if y'wanna--um--cuddle," he added, flushing slightly over the word "cuddle." Unlike a lot of the school, Roch wasn't really the "cuddling" type--except for Amphi, who he would willingly do it with, and Danny, who forced it on him. But he wasn't thinking about Danny cuddles at the moment.
She'd been through a lot, though, he thought, reaching up and pushing her hair back gently. "You probably need some rest." In other words, this wasn't the time to be makin' out, or something, right?

Amphi shook her head and smiled. Her boil, so sweet even when he was being a brat.
"I'll cuddle with you...AND sing!" The mermaid made herself comfy as she sat on the couch and hummed a bit at first. There was a song in her head and it was just dying to get out. Her hands clapped on her legs to start the beat as she sang.
Rock your body...Dance with me
She wiggled her body against his as she sung and instead of cuddling, ended up...rocking her body against his!
"Roch?" Amphi reached up and kissed him on the chin.

"Amp--Amphi," he said, his mind fully focused on the rocking motion. "Am--y'--you--"
He wrapped his arms around her waist and moved, bringing her lips to his. It had been so jackin' long, he thought as he hauled her onto his lap, so she was straddling his thighs. So long since they'd kissed properly. His fingers slid into her hair.

"Roch?" She was pulled over into his lap, lips captured with each other as she rested her hands on his chest. If ever there was a time to be caught up in to it, this mermaid was.
"Roch..." She whispered as she pressed into him, it was weird. The heat in her stomach and the tingles on her whole body. Her face red as she nuzzled close. It had been long since she felt this...Long since she felt the comfort of someone she so deeply cared about.
And so deeply craved for a single touch. "Please Roch..." But she ahd no idea what she was asking yet, she knew...but not how to convey it.
She just wanted.

That little plea was all he needed, he figured as his hand went up--catching the zipper of her dress and tugging.
*Fade to black*
And what followed probably would have been a lot steamier if he hadn't spent most of the time fighting with that outfit of hers. Instead, during this classy fade to black moment, there was a lot of fumbling, a ton of muffled curses, and a lot of other sounds that weren't... typical in romantic scenes.
*End fade*
"That--ah--" Roch said, flushing brightly as he looked for something to cover his ghoulfriend up with. "Ah--went--"
Third base, his mind was saying. That had ABSOLUTELY been third base--
"We gotta stop," he said instead. Didn't help that he now needed to change his pants. Jaaackkk, if people found out that he'd fumbled it this jackin' hard--

Amphi made a small squeak as Roch unzipped her dress and then another squeak at what was going on.
-Fade to black-
A lot of awkward things went on here that lead to third base for Roch. Ah yeah.
-End fade to black-
Amphi was holding her chest up with her hands, covering what she could as she stared at her boilfriend. They had gone far...Not all the way because she chickened out and it was too much and she was already as red as a tomato all over.
She nodded and didn't meet his eyes, unsure how to even look at him now that something...had happened.
"I...I should go back to my room yes?" She was reaching for the dress first and still not meeting her boilfriends eyes. Somewhere she felt something had been wrong.
Was it her?

"Hey--hey don't--" he said, moving closer. He reached up, touching her face. "I'll practice," he said... only to feel like an idiot. "I mean--its not like we did somethin' bad--"
Right?
But it had been too early. It was just-- "Every time I turn around it looks like--" he groaned and fell onto the couch next to her, feeling like an idiot. "Did I hurt you?" he asked, looking at her with worried silver eyes.

Amphi flushed and laced her fingers together.
"We..We didn't it wasn't bad but...." She flicked her eyes up at him and then back down. "No..just a little...um..." She shifted only a little way at him.
this was just too awkward. This was just WAY to awkward. She needed to go like...away. Somewhere, She needed to think about it.
"Roch..." she gave him a peck on the cheek before getting up and zipping up the rest of her dress. "Um..Please don't um...worry yourself okay? I'm going back to my room to um..think...about it."

"Y--y'aint gonna break up with me or anything, are you?" he asked. "I don't wanna lose y'cuz of this," he said, looking at a loss. Even scared. He hadn't looked scared through the entire haunted house thing, but he looked that way now.
"I want--no. I ain't gonna force this. You go think, okay, blue eyes? We both will."

"I'm not going to break up with you!" Amphi just stared at him and shook her head. Leaning over, she kissed him full on the lips. "I care about you too much to not want to be with you!
she sighed. "But um...What happened...It was weird so..." She pulled back and started out the door.
"I'll see you...soon." Amphi waved and then dashed to her room. Think. Could she even think right now?

He dropped down on the couch, his head hurting at her words. "Weird," he repeated. "Hell, I didn't even MENTION the chocolate syrup..."
He groaned and dropped his forearm on his head. What the hell was he going to do now?
