Anna didn't dream during that momentary unconscious state. She heard something chime nearby but wasn't really able to focus on it for a while. Her body relaxed some and her breathing and heart rate slowed to an even pace.

After a while, the redhead opened her eyes. She didn't do anything or really moved. She just laid there, starring up at the ceiling. She felt no need to reason or think about the situation. Anna simply enjoyed the moment of peace or relaxation she felt. A whisper made her blink back to reality and she let out a sigh. Her hand ran through her hair, pushing her bangs out of her eyes.

"Great," Anime replied, "I'll be back with some food and water." Anime saw the new girl on the couch, looking up at the ceiling. Well, at least the new girl was awake again. Now Grace was lying down too. Good. Anime felt better about leaving. Nodding her head, she gave the girls and the boy a wave. "Okay kids, play nice while I'm gone." She really was glad everyone was alright. Anime bit her lip with a sigh, letting out all her tension. Without another pause, she hurried to the cafeteria.

Anna felt more relaxed no, so as the one male spoke to her, she didn't really jump or flinch. She released a soft breath and sat up, looking around. "I wasn't dreaming, was I. This place is real." There was still a mile feeling of being light headed from the high oxygen, but that was to be expected.

She turned to Verta, "So where am I exactly? How did I get here and why?"

The man didn't seem threatening and really wasn't that bad to look at. WIth his handsome features, he could easily be a model. Maybe the whole thing was a dream; appearing in one place then another, falling into a cave, the class trip. Maybe she went insane without realizing it.

Verta nodded to Anna while offering a hand. "It's a pleasure, Anna, or Ren. Also, doors can manifest in many different forms...It may not be obvious, but you had to have gone through some sort of door to get here, at least as far as my understanding is. And no I don't mean magic tricks, I mean actual magic. That one over there..." He gestured towards Grace and sighed, wishing he could offer a better explanation or even a visual show, but that was definitely not in the cards at the moment.

"I healed up that wound she has in her arm with my magic. Spun a ball of air enough to heat it up to the point of searing the wound shut. The other girl that was here, Anime, she has this fancy bell that allows her to heal people. Not sure what your power is but you'll figure it out eventually." Verta turned his attention to Grace and smiled. "This school doesn't even have a tuition. It's quite by invitation only, and you've been invited." He explained everything he could as well as he could, but he didn't know if it would be enough.

Grace was so happy to see food that she didnt waste time stuffing her face. She ate extremely fast, which was somewhat of a bad habit. She didnt care at the moment how rude she may look. After she had finished a big portion she looked at the rest of the food with big eyes. She wanted more.. But felt like it may be asking too much. She savored the tastes in her mouth never tasting anything as good, except for maybe candy. Then she drank her full glass of water. She had an insane urge to burp in satisfaction but contained herself since she wanted to be proper in front of Verta.

Ok, so it was sort of making sense now, though the idea of magic was still far-fetched, even if she suddenly moved from one place to another. Scientists had already proven teleportation was possible by using negative energy, though the results tended to be very messy for the subject. Then there was this free tuition thing. Was there a catch? Did they have other subjects besides "magic"?

"So is everyone from Nim City? or does it vary? And what subjects are there to learn? Where do we register for classes and buy books. And how do I commute to school!? I fell in a hole on a field trip so I don't know where the gate thing is!" She tried to calm herself by slowing her breathing.

Anna was just full of questions. She wanted to ask about the air filters and the giant, blue biome that they were in. And if they were in one, was it above or below ground. Before she could ask further questions, another girl showed up, the one who had scared her earlier. The young woman didn't seem as irritable or mean as she was earlier.

The young model stared for a moment at the food brought. She had never seen most of them or food so brightly colored. She jumped a bit when Anime told them not to keep her waiting.

"Thank you for the food, Miss."

It was SOOO good. Anna was having difficulties restraining herself from shoveling a bunch of things in. She wanted to savor these new flavors. Grace's stare made her look up. The other girl had already devoured her share in record time and still looked hungry.

"Um, there's no way I could finish all this. I kinda ate recently, so if you want more, help yourself," she lied. She missed her last meal because some of her classmates took it from her. But this was fine. Anna didn't mind sharing.

"Oh, and I'm Anna Delaware. But most people call me Ren."
