Everyone loves spring!

I absolutely despise spring...AND SUMMER! Those seasons are the accursed end times of my senses and the death of the glee in my heart. I wish all of life was forever in Autumn and Winter! Death to all plant life! Your mating days are numbered from this day forth!

For I the Eye am especially kind but feared no less for the time for dying. I the Eye give on to all and save none for Eye. For I the Eye am exceptionally fine with the chime of life's gaze upon mine as trine the love is given rime upon my lake of why. Why? Why. Why? Yes. Why must I the Eye be that mind?

Because Eye sees only IME.

idk what is going on, but now I'm getting freaked out. It started out me just becoming more existentially bothered I guess you could say. I always questioned existence, but the thought became more to the foreground. I started thinking about death and suicide, wondering why people were so bothered by it with the logic that "We should be happy. Not only is it a natural part of life, but we are overpopulated. Its not much but it helps the economy and the resources of our planet." I started becoming emotionally cold, and mentally distant, and more curious about pain and the taste of my own blood (I'm not sure curious is the right word. I know what my blood tastes like and what pain feels like, but I guess more interested? I mean I've always liked the taste of blood but it's been a long time since I actually thought of ways of extracting some).
Mixed in with all this, I would occasionally see shadowy figures. Everything from a shaded man in a brown trenchcoat that dissapears when I blink, to a dark humanoid figure in a black cape standing on a highway divider that is gone next time I look.

Just tonight, I saw something that really freaked me out. There was a giant light in the sky, about 1/4 to 1/2 the size of my fist. It was mostly white but a tinge of green, and maybe a splash of blue. It flew across the sky throwing sparks everywhere it went, dimming as it went about half way for only a moment and growing in brightness again, then disappearing behind the scenery. I was frozen, waiting for an explosion assuming it was a large meteorite that didnt burn up in the atmosphere, but nothing happened. I started seeing humanoid shadows walking across the street but I think that at that point it was just nerves.

I think you need to lay off the drugs Kuzo. lol The aliens aren't coming. xd

Or are they....

Or need to go on some psychiatric ones. Or write a book because people who do get them made into (oh noes) Disney movies. I'm talking about Lewis Carroll. the creator of Alice in Wonderland, I swear that man was on drugs.
Yeah, because pharmaceuticals are going to "cure" the natural flows of his exceptional mind. : P

I think you have paranoid schizophrenia.
I doubt it. It's an easy label, because it's the one that people associate with the standard expectations of general "craziness", but his mindset really doesn't line up all that well with the defining thought patterns of a true paranoid schizophrenic.

That's what Im being told by various sources. It would explain quite a few things, though it could also be depression mixed with other things.

Or it could just be you. You can't box every psychological abnormality into a predetermined pattern. Not every type of "crazy" is a recognized disorder. Sometimes, people are just different. : P

I usually get the seasonal blues during the late fall, where I start to hate school, become so unmotivated and withdrawn from hobbies, and sometimes unsociable. It progressively worsens as winter goes on. Since depression is usually caused by the lack of serotonin, I would try to exercise more, eat healthier, sleep at a schedule. It's almost impossible to start for the first two- three weeks, but once you do, it really does becomes addicting. When I physically feel better, I try to fix my mental state. When I can't socialize with other people, I would take my dogs out to the park. I would listen more to happier music like funk or acoustic music. Lately, I've been trying to practice humanistic psychology. It's so sickly optimistic, but sometimes you have you be delusional at these times. I'm a cynic at heart, but sometimes it poisons me. After I find some mental stability, I try to self improve. Like lately, as emasculating as it sounds, I been learning how to cook. lol

Maybe you don't have to necessarily do what I do, but just try to preoccupy yourself before your own thoughts poison you. Perhaps being idle contributes to depression.
Didn't know you had S.A.D. *high fives* Welcome to the club, hombre. XD Have you tried a sun light? It works for most people. I don't use mine anymore, because the first couple times I tried it, it made me manic for a few hours, and then I crashed hardcore. But I've heard great things from other people, and it's natural, so it might be worth consideration.

(It's so funny to me that almost everyone in this guild has legit depression. xd )

That's cause he DID do drugs....

Weed and Shrooms? Or LSD? I knew it - with the caterpillar smoking a hooka he had to be on drugs- I'm surprised Disney left that in.
You know you can smoke tobacco in hookahs, right? : P The more relevant part, is the giant mushroom he's sitting on. emotion_omnomnom

Sorry to hear that. I kinda didn't take your original post seriously. I legitimately thought it was aliens. sweatdrop Sorry about.

King's right though. You should try to stay busy. And look at pictures of sunflowers or something. Spring is right around the corner! 4laugh Everyone loves spring!

And also.
Architect of Thought

Kiwi, hug Kuzo next time you see him. Thanks.

Aside from that.... I don't. Eat healthy. Get enough sleep. Exercise. Don't over do it on the caffeine or any sorts of drugs or alcohol if you do them. In fact just don't do that.

heart heart heart

Not a smoker - I grew up around them but they smoked cigarettes or a pipe. I was led to believe that hookahs were for recreational drug use- like tobacco isn't one --from cop want to be step -father. I'm still surprised that Disney let smoking of anything in during that era. Well maybe not as tobacco is more accepted the drugs or alcohol back then.

I think they inhibit creativity in some people- I can't see say like Robin Williams or Jim Carry on mood stabilizers as I think it would slow them down a little- they run off their high energy to be who they are. And I see nothing wrong with mental illness or being different or seeing the world differently from others. If people thought all the same the world would be bland. Some may argue it would be for the better but I can't see how.
Ya know I'll retract the pharm drugs statement- I know - for me- I need to be on them but some people can function well without. I wish I could, maybe one day, but not now.

In all seriousness though, I'm pretty sure that at least a third of my grade has depression or anxiety or some mental disorder of varying degrees of seriousness. Either we've gotten better at recognizing these or they're becoming more prevalent. I like Ducky's attitude, though; good things can come out of it. c:

Ducky is probably going to correct me on that last statement.
