He didn't really think too much of his race's inability to survive well outside of certain regions. Many races had the similar issues, so it was only to be expected. Perhaps that was why there were so few of them. they were a bit too finicky with the sort of environment they needed. Who knew. "It's not too troubling usually." He replied, offering a light smile.
Though then she began about... pens. And well. He merely watched, head slowly tilting to the side a bit more the longer she spoke. While it was highly important to have a working writing utensil to work with during an exam, she was... taking it a bit too far. He couldn't imagine trying to finish an exam with a haunted one, but... requesting a utensil from the teacher would work. It might be a bit embarrassing but it was solvable. So why was she so worked up about it? Thankfully, before his neck could get to a point of snapping, or looking too ridiculous the familiar chimed in and put a halt to the ridiculous trail of thought. "Not particularly." He replied, offering the butterfly an appreciative look and choosing not to say much more.
At which point he looked back to the reaper and nodded. "Yes, of course." He wasn't going to say much more until she mentioned buying more. "I'm certain two trusted ones should be enough." He added, casting a look at Psy, curious is this was... normal? Though then he merely nodded and looked back to Miasma as made a suggestion of checking a supply store first. "That seems reasonable." Double checking couldn't hurt him, and well... the ghoul seemed a bit stuck on needing to buy a few more penstrictors. Odd as the need seemed.
He briefly glanced around, idly looking if there was a store nearby before watching the reaper briefly. "Did you have a specific store in mind?" Obviously he was planning to follow to whichever she suggested. She seemed far more used to this kind of place.

The reaper nodded, deciding not to press further. She herself hated when others pitied her, so she wouldn't subject the demon to the same thing. Besides, she was sure he would do just fine.
When Molan commented, she blinked, and realized she had gotten off on a tangent again. Whoops, guess others didn't really share the same viewpoint as her, though he did encourage her to check, so check she would!
"Hmm..." Well, she DID have enough clothes... for now... and more stationary never hurt... She chanced a glance at the bags.
"Let's go there!" She pointed at a store, named "Staples and Scares, all your skule needs!" Not bothering to wait for a response, she started heading towards the store.Raja Psh, not at all. I'm just... making up store names now. OTL

Honestly, the worst he had to deal with was wanting to crawl in a hole and die in the summer. It's not as if he needed to scare things out here, and it was still cold enough he could easily summon a few shards if need be in self defense. It wasn't too bad. Though it could easily get worse as the months passed. Or so Molan assumed. However, at the worst, he'd just be a bit sick and hide in his nice cold room until the world was a less warm and hostile place.
Thankfully it seemed that tangent of sorts was being dropped, so he said nothing further on it, letting it go as she quietly though over it. And then the chipper voice as she glanced around and spotted their destination. Staples and Scares. To be honest he'd never gone into one, maybe a small outlet store that only existed in this maul, but it seemed promising. "Certainly." He replied, following after the ghoul with the bags in hand. He was a bit curious as to how exactly this all worked. He was more used to walking into a store and barking a few orders and browsing idly as he had been at the grocery store. Which led meant it was time to find out if she did the exact same here.
Which seemed to be the case, because that's what ever other being in the store seemed to be doing. He ignored most of the large banners for sales and what not, more interested in not losing Miasma among the crowd until a 'NEW IN STOCK' banner caught his eye with it's title. A specific large book, hardbound and a bit more thick than was probably good for people who were about to be shopping for a while. Still the title did draw interest after that whole field trip. An encyclopedia to minipets species and dietary needs. Both ears had flicked up at the sight of it as he inched over a bit to flick through the pages, assuming it might be of use for other classes. He could justify it at least.
He could at least take a moment to thumb through it and look.[A.V.] Book book boooook- owait we wanted supplies?

Browsing through the selections, she paused, and after a bit of fussing with the sales clerk, she finally settled on getting two of every colour of penstrictors and several bookbats and haunted bookbats, which meant it was more than enough to last her through the year if not more, but spelled disaster for her rapidly dwindling silver pumpkin seeds and... Molan, as she was already making her way towards him.
She peeked around him, giving the book he was looking a curious stare. "Thinking of buying it?"

Molan hadn't even realize the ghoul was buying as much as he was, he was busy finding the difference in dietary suggestions for a Shink and a Scareon. Which wasn't really much, but a bit more fascination than the random conversations around him from passerbys. So on he went barely realizing he'd lost Miasma until she showed back up with bags.
Oh. Right. He was stuck doing that. He'd agreed to this. He sort of eyed the object briefly, musing a bit with a shrug at her question. "It has it's uses." He stated simply, flipping another page before finally caving. Another for shelf. Couldn't hurt really and he had a few pets, so it could be beneficial. Best to not waste time musing over it too much. "I'll likely enjoy reading it." He stated, closing it before turning to head for the cashier himself. It wouldn't take long to pay, though since he had a mostly free hand he offered it to take the newer bags as well in the process.
...why so many?

She only nodded, forgetting that Molan had offered to carry the bags until he reached out to take them. Blinking, she realized he was... carrying the rest of her bags, and handed the ones she was currently holding over. At least he didn't have to worry about them being TOO heavy, as it mostly contained penstrictors, who were already poking their heads out of the bags, letting out little hisses. The bag might have fluttered slightly too, as there may have been a bookbat or two inside.
"If you like reading it, why don't you get it?" she gave him an amused smirk, before heading towards the exit. Meanwhile, Psy fluttered behind her, muttering something about making the poor boil having to carry so much.

If he was one thing, Molan was quite good at being true to his word. Some sort of habit he had really. Which meant collecting the bag idly. And, despite having enough penstrictors in there for about ten people. Well, at least she'd be... prepared. He'd just keep his comments to himself on that one. He did, however briefly close the book and tuck it under his arm to free his hand to tap a few of the heads back down into the bag. No escape. None.
"It'll fill some time." He stated simply, paying for the book when he reached the cashier and smiling as he stepped back with his own bag. "It's not a problem." Was a quiet statement as he glanced in the way of the butterfly. He hadn't caught all of it, but he could hear fairly well afterall. The ears honestly weren't for decoration.[A.V.] Oho now you owe me TWO tags.

Fortunately, Miasma had heard Psy's muttering also. Unfortunately, she... didn't really do anything about it, eyes already set on another store. A fabric store.
"Let's go there next!" The poor boil didn't really have a choice.

Molan had only finished his purchase and set the bag among the others when he found himself essentially drug off with the direction of 'there next.' There being... a fabric shop. He could only stare a bit as he tried to figure out what that could possibly have to do with preparations for school, but merely followed along.
Why? Then again, it wasn't too off from being drug to a store like that with his brother. Oh well, too late, he'd already agreed. "School supplies?" It was more a bemused request as he tilted his head than annoyance. He was fairly used to the random tangents from his brother, but even so.
Perhaps there was a reason for it that he didn't know of? Tailoring classes of some sort?[A.V.] AHAHAHA I HAVE CAUGHT UP ON TAGS FOR MOLAN WITH THIS! /pose ..now to check on Simply's.

Miasma was already deeply engrossed in a piece of fabric she was looking at, hand running over the surface, testing its durability. "Mm, it feels right, but the colour is all wrong..." Had Psy not reminded her that Molan was still there, she might have continued this process of examining each fabric thoroughly for who knows how long.
"Oh! Sorry." She gave Molan a sheepish look. "Um... sort of? I've always wanted to try my hand at making some clothes, considering how hard it is to find something so specific, though I have to say I haven't really... done this before..." She laughed nervously, hoping Molan wouldn't notice that she... really didn't know what she was looking for.

He merely watched, waiting, and being a proper pack mule as she looked and seemed entirely lost in looking at some fabric. Which, while it didn't seem poor quality, wasn't exactly impressing him either. It was just... okay. There were such better fabrics to choose from that had nicer colors and an equally, or higher quality coun- not that he knew too much about making clothes. It was just that his clothes were often made of nicer fabrics. So of course he could judge.
...it was just that not everyone could afford his taste in clothing either.
Still his silent judging of the fabrics continued along as he followed while she browsed, at least until Psy helped out. "It's fine." He'd signed up for this after all... sort of. Still, her comment did make him tilt his head a bit. Did everyone want to sew clothes at one point or another? "My brother likes to design and make thinks as well." He replied, smiling a bit as he looked to the racks. "I think... he started with simple patterns, and then moved up. Choosing some... lower end fabrics to start with." The ones his brother had used might have still been nicer than most of these. "So that even if it was a mistake it wouldn't be such a waste?" He offered, trying to think back.
...he should have paid more attention, but he'd had little interest in his brother's odd hobby.

Molan's comment made her nod, and she looked back down at the fabric in her hands. One of her greatest fears was having something done sub-par, and, well... maybe messing up on some low-quality fabric would serve as practice before she used some more high-end stuff.
"Hmm, I suppose you're right. I haven't had... a lot of experience with this, so getting some practice in wouldn't hurt." She turned to him and smiled. "I'd love to see your brother's work sometime. Perhaps we have similar tastes." Maybe she should have said she'd love to meet her brother instead, but she had a one-track mind ok? FASHION.

He shared a similar issue with doing things on a lesser level, he just... didn't have a personal interest in making clothes. It didn't really suit him perhaps. He wasn't sure. Though an ear did perk as she mentioned it. "Perfection comes with time and effort, so yes, it certainly wouldn't hurt." He replied, giving her a reassuring smile as she went on. "He'd be more than happy to share I'm sur-" He paused then at a rather familiar tone, pausing as he reached into his pocket to pull out his phone.
Which was chiming rather happily as it had a new text. Default tones were useful for that apparently. He quickly shifted the bags so he quickly review it, pausing as his brow furrowed. "Did... what?" The words came out under his breath as he shook his head briefly before looking up a bit sheepishly. "Ah, Miasma, I do apologize. But as to that brother I was talking about, well... it seems there's something that's come up. He needs my help with something. If you don't mind..." He quickly moved to tuck his phone away again before untangling her bags from his own lone one and offering it out to her. Alas, he didn't so much mind being used as a pack mule, but duty called. Well... other duties.

She nodded, understanding all too well, as she was a perfectionist herself. It may have been hard work, but the results made everything worth it.
Turning her attention back to the fabric in her hand, she busied herself with fussing over the colours and material once more, giving Molan privacy as he checked his phone. Though, when she heard his exasperation, her eyes shifted over to him, looking at him curiously.
Ah, trouble with his brother? Or... perhaps his brother needed an educated opinion on what of his fabrics. Whatever it was, she nodded, taking back the bags, happy that she hadn't gone TOO overboard with her shopping excursion.
"I hope it gets sorted out, whatever it is!" She smiled and nodded and then turned, placing her bags on the ground as she continued inspecting more fabric.Raja Wrap up with your post? lol

He nodded at that point, offering her one last sheepish smile. "I'm used to handling these things." Surprisingly, more true than he wanted to admit sometimes. This was what the- oh he wasn't going to waste his time counting. There were too many times.
So with a light bow as he handed off the bags to her he turned and hurried out of the store and back for the school's campus. Etzer, really, why had he gone and done that? Well, he'd get it taken care of regardless.
Another of those older brother duty things. Still, he did feel bad about cutting his outing a bit short. But it was likely for the best. He wasn't sure how fond of the maul he was. Even if the ghoul had seemed pleasant enough, minus trying to take him out with a bag initially.
Oh well. No use crying or worrying over it. She went tot he same school, he'd likely see her around and be able to apologize again later.[A.V.] AND WE DONE! With this one.
