The boos were expected, but Warner got his first move done in a match in a while. Regardless if its a boot to the gut or not, he wasn't going to end there. AJ went to stand the babyface up and quickly meet him with a dropkick.

AJ uses his hands to straighten Cartwright and quickly jumps into the air, striking Cartwright with both feet and knocking him down to the mat!

AJ got up with a sinister smile and immediately climbed the top rope to taunt the fans the same motion he had received from Cartwright. Warner hopped down shortly thereafter, knowing the dropkick wouldn't keep Cartwright down too long. He went to pick Cartwright up and, if not attacked during this process, AJ would go for an irish whip into the opposing set of ropes for a leg lariat.

AJ lifts Cartwright up and and whips him into the ropes! Cartwright bounces off the ropes and tries to duck under AJ's legs as he charges towards him!

AJ landed on his back; make it two times Warner has landed on his a**. Maybe the lariat was a bit too high, and the mistake was noted to "the Rusty Chyld." Warner stood to his feet holding his lower back and turned towards the direction of Cartwright.

xd Cartwright bounces off the opposite ropes he was charging towards, just in time for AJ who has returned to his feet! Cartwright smiles and sees his chance. He utterly launches himself at Warner for a crazy lariat attempt!

AJ was hit with the lariat and fell to his back, holding his mouth from the impact of Cartwright's leg. With half of his face covered by a hand, it was hard to see Warner's facial expression. However, it didn't take a wrestling historian to understand that AJ was pissed.

It appears to Cartwright that AJ is getting frustrated. Could it be that Warner was not expecting what has happened so far in this match tonight? Perhaps he has more ring rust than he thought? Or maybe a land creature just can't match-up to the mighty shark! Cartwright doesn't care as we attempts to cover AJ to see how he's doing!

One! Tw-
One! AJ kicked out, and his anger was fueled by Cartwright covering him after a simple lariat. Though Warner's cardio was being put to the test (since it had bee so long), it would take a lot to ruin his return to action. Warner would attempt to quickly get to his feet after Cartwright got up.

Cartwright Returns to his feet but AJ quickly follows him up, determined to show the world that he's still got it and to release his rage! Determined to take out his frustrations on Cartwright! Well, Cartwright isn't going to just let him do any of those things! He attempts a flurry of chops to AJ's chest!

AJ is chopped three times and falls back into the ropes in the midst of the chops. Warner then blocked the next incoming chop with his left arm and went for a series of hard forearms to Cartwright's face. Was it an attempt to abuse his opponent? Of course. But it was more to keep his chest from being abused and the crowd saying 'Wooo!' each time the Bad Chyld got his titties slapped around.

AJ returns fire with his forearm shots. Each shot staggers Cartwright backwards and rocks his head back until he is on the opposite side of the ropes! The referee calls for a break as Cartwright puts his right hand on the ropes, with his left hand on his face as it kinda hurts!

Warner backed off and smiled at Cartwright with a slight nod. AJ knew that his opponent's emotions were easy to show; after all, just saying the word "********" put the Bad Chyld's a** on the mat. It was just too tempting. AJ went to slap Cartwright on the non-covered part of his face after the ref broke them up as a sign of disrespect.

SMACK! The crowd 'ooes' and boos as AJ backs away following the slap with a smug look on his face. The referee stands in-front of Cartwright as he continues to fume. Cartwright walks around the ref calmly and slowly approaches AJ.
Cartwright: "Do that again, I dare you! You think that makes you a tough guy?! You disappoint me AJ!"

AJ looked down to his hand with the same smug look, implying that he would attempt the same. He looked back up to Cartwright, not commenting back. Just simply enjoying his time in the ring. Warner took a couple steps back, letting Cartwright restart. This part of the match was an excellent time for mind games.
