Was the stab happy Captain, as she would now be known to Chaldene, going to do something different? She was keeping her weapon now at her side...why? He didn't like that. He didn't know what she could or couldn't do and when that weapon wasn't aimed at him he didn't know what to expect, and that he disliked.
"I think we could...I can back you up...I mean I think I can manage an attack again..." He whispered as if questioning if he could in fact do it. He had to try though, he couldn't let her fight for him and get hurt because of him when he could do something to help, to lessen it. But it seemed she was...giving up? Or was she just going to make them think she was?
That Lieutenant had done the same thing, made him think he'd live and see the next day. But it had all been a lie, a trick, and they had tried to throw him from that roof top. He knew better than to trust things till he saw enough proof to, once tricked and weary and untrusting the second time.
He didn't go to the edge, almost worried Mica might turn up and stab him in the face, or Tsui, but he heard Tsui's exclamation and breathed a sigh of relief. "I'm glad...I didn't know if I could actually use that attack again..." But he had obviously been willing to try again, anything to help Tsui who was willing to help him. He wouldn't let her just fight for him and risk herself, take injuries, because of him. He had to fight to help her, as much as he disliked fighting, but he was safe in the knowledge his attack hadn't harmed Mica. So it made it easier on his conscious.
"N-no...just scared me. I thought I was going to wind up dead, especially when I tried to grab her spear. She seems to stab happy sort....like she'd turn me into a living voodoo doll and have at me." He answered with a shake of his head.

Tsui never liked it when her opponents bowed out of a fight, even if it was the smart thing to do, but given that she knew that she couldn't bring herself to kill or severely harm her opponents (now, anyways), she would have to simply get over that. The important matter wasn't defeating the Negaverse captain, but protecting her friend, and she was glad to see that Chaldene came out of the situation with only rattled nerves. "That's a relief... trust me, I have enough scars for the both of us, and while I never took a stab from her, I think I'll pass getting that mark on my punch card." Tsui said, subconsciously fingering the scars at her waist as she pulled himself away from the edge and went to check on Chaldene more thoroughly. As he had stated, he was physically unharmed, and given how serious that Captain was, Tsui was grateful for that. "But you did good for yourself, I'd say. Though, I wouldn't recommend trying to grab her spear again." It felt so weird to be the mother hen in this situation, given how many times others told her the same thing, but she had a feeling that Chaldene didn't need to be lectured on how to stay alive and well. He had already done a fantastic job on that aspect, and she knew that he'd learn his lesson. Not like he was looking for a fight, unlike herself. She kept this all to herself, though, only wanting to appear strong in front of her friend, and she gave him a firm pat on the shoulders. "Call me paranoid, but how about we spend the rest of the patrol together. Trust me, with an Eternal by your side, I doubt anything's going to want to come after you again, and if they do, I'll give them a good punch to the face. Sound good to you?" "Yeah...I had hoped she was distracted enough....Guess she wasn't." And he would not be trying to grab the pointy stick again, seemed to be a very bad idea. He was now looking at the scars at the senshi's waist, her fingering those marks had grabbed and now held his attention. They looked nasty, surely they had been painful when received. Clearly Tsui had experience with hard fights, with people like this Captain and that one who had tried to throw him from the roof, she bore the marks of lessons learned and fights fought.
"That sounds good. And I doubt luck would put another one after me tonight, just the odds and such really, I'd still like to be cautious. I don't know if I could manage that attack again anyway..." Though maybe he could, he wasn't sure. He'd never tried to use it twice and so wasn't really sure. It took a good amount of energy from him though, and he felt it.
"I wonder why they seem so vicious though...those people in the Negaverse. They've all seemed rather vicious and twisted..." He whispered, more to himself than Tsui. "I bet this one does have voodoo dolls that she stabs nightly." Mumbled to himself, but still just loud enough to be heard. "So ummm...where to now?" He asked, wanting to get away from here and yet unsure where to go now.

Tsui didn't mean to come off as an overprotective mother hen to Chaldene, considering her own experiences and the such. After all, it made her come off as hypocritical, even if she only meant well for her allies and friends, but then again, since when did Tsui let such things get her down? What mattered was that Chaldene was safe, and that she had helped to spare him from what was likely going to be a terrible fate. They could call her whatever they wanted, so long as the end results were that herself and her friend would be able to walk away from this experience alive. "Some of the Negaverse officers just take their jobs very seriously," Tsui pointed out, in regards to his question. She didn't have a definitive answer for him and she felt as though she was failing in that department, but at least she made up for it in action and spunk, right? "A lot of them are harping on events that happened in the past and just want to make sure that history doesn't repeat itself, no matter how hard we try to explain that it's not our intention. Some of them just can't be reasoned with." She knew from experience, and now, she didn't want to think about it. She had given up on being a diplomat long ago- it got her no where. She was a warrior, a defender, and she'd take that role very seriously. For every Negaverse agent that was willing to kill a friend, she would be there to protect them. His next question wouldn't go unanswered, and she motioned for the other Senshi to follow her. "Home would be the best place, I think. I'll drop you off near yours, if that's okay. I don't mind playing escort services every so often, just so long as you end up in your home safe." This was enough excitement for one night, she thought, and she'd sleep better knowing that Chaldene was safe once again. Sleet Tempest Snape Calling this a wrap on my end!
