Saluote was embarrassed that he had to be fed, but once he saw how to use the utensils, the merman would remember that. Opening his mouth, he ate the bite of food Vladmir gave him and chewed tentatively before he made a soft "mm" sound. It was good! Swallowing, he smiled at Vladmir. He seemed to approve the meal.

When he was kissed, Saluote's face turned red as a tomato and he jumped back a little. "Y-Y-You...kissed me...!" But, why did he like the kiss? The merman stayed quiet the rest of the meal and then looked up as Vladmir spoke. He didn't care if he stayed in the pool or a bedroom. As long as he wasn't forced to sleep in Vladmir's with him!

Walking into the bedroom with Vladmir, Saluote looked around and blinked. From the way it was decorated, one could think he intended on kidnapping Saluote for months, or even years. Glancing up at the taller male through the corner of his eyes, Saluote blushed softly. "Thank you....This was...very kind." Without really thinking, Saluote leaned up and kissed Vladmir's cheek softly before he went over to the bed and sat on it, rubbing his feet. He hadn't used his human form for a while, so his feet ached after doing the walking he had; even though it was very little. "...We only kiss another like you did with me when...when we love that person. It's taboo to do otherwise." Even so, he had never had anyone show even the slightest bit of interest in him. Was it because he was thin and sickly? Whatever the reason, it hurt that no one wanted to be with him. Was that why he found himself developing small feelings for Vladmir? "...May I use the pool later on?"

Saluote watched as Vladmir rubbed his feet for him. The gesture was kind and loving, though also intimate. So, some humans were the same with intimacy as merfolk were? But, Vladmir wasn't human. Did that mean his intimate gestures weren't so special? Or, were they? "Thank you....I'm not going home, am I?"

He was a bit sad to hear he could go home, but he didn't know why. That's what he wanted. Wasn't it? Maybe because he was enchanted by the man. He had saved his life, but he had also been kind to Saluote. He had said and did things that the merman was only able to fantasize about. "...I....I'd like to...stay here. If that's...alright...." Saluote looked away shyly, hugging himself softly.

Saluote smiled softly, pleased that he was able to stay with the vampire. "I will try not to be a burden on you. Thank you....G-Good night....Er. Good day?" He kissed the other's cheek softly before he crawled under the covers and rested his head on the pillows. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad here. Vladmir seemed...closed off, but he was kind and admittedly attractive. Not to mention he was strong.

Once Vladmir was gone, the merman stripped out of his kimono and sash before falling asleep naked; it was rather comfortable and he coukdn't sleep if he had any article of clothing on. That was why he refused to wear the clothes the merfolk made. It was rather common. Saluote slept soundly for his first night out of the sea and in a human bed. When he awoke, it was late afternoon and the sun seeped into the room. The trinkets sparkled in the sunlight. Sitting up, the merman got out of bed and dressed in his kimono again before wrapping the sash on his arms so that it was held up. Leaving the room after making the bed, Saluote walked through the castle and explored. There were plenty of paintings to look at. He eventually found himself peeking into Vladmir's room, though the curtains were closed and it was very dark. Deciding not to bother the other, Saluote went out to the pool. After removing the kimono and sash again, he jumped into the water and changed forms again. The pool restricted his speed, but he had no problem swimming slowly as long as he could dive.

Saluote looked up at the young man that spoke and tilted his head. Prince? Vladmir was a prince? He couldn't help but hold his cheeks and blush with a small smile; this was almost like a fantasy. Being saved by a mysterious and kind man who was of some form of royalty. But, he shook his head and looked back up at the man. He wasn't sure what to do right now. The man could be dangerous, even though he sounded sincere and kind. All Saluote knew was that he was safe in the water; he had the advantage and could severely harm the guy if he tried to hurt him in the merman's element. Swimming up, he stuck his head out of the water and kept himself level in the center of the pool. "He didn't kidnap me. He saved me. Who are you, and why are you here?"
