Axel frowned as he missed, and went to try again, but his opponent was faster, and the glint of metal was the only thing causing Axel to flinch, possibly saving his brain from being skewered. As it was, the carny's dagger still managed to lodge itself in his forehead, causing the Cursed's eyes to cross momentarily as he staggered back, the dagger still in his head. ".............that feels..funny..." he states simply, wobbling a moment, before moving forward again, not even having the wherewithal to quip about how disappointed the harlequin was before trying to ram his knives into his neck again like before.

Axel watched his foe fall over in front of him, and a lopsided grin showed on his face. Followed quickly by an slightly confused look on his face. He wobbles a moment, crossing his eyes again, this time on purpose to look up at the knife in his head. "....should probably get that looked at.." he mumbles, before woozily making his way back to camp.

(I can't help but wonder what Rio will think of Axel coming back in this state. XD)
