"I understand that, believe me. And you'll get no leash here. Some hate that about us, and some don't. I, for one, think it's better to be able to make your own decisions. Even to the point of fighting or not. I choose to fight, and I choose to defend those that need me to defend them. But no one makes me do it."
He shook his head and smiled thinly, looking thoughtful and distracted as he pondered things. For him, being a Knight was almost easy. But that was mostly because Realgar had already sussed out why. He had been this way before he'd powered up: he was a white knight by birth, and he felt compelled to protect people he loved.
Powering up just gave him a new way to do that.
"In any case, I'll support you in any way I can. Especially if the trade off is more food like this, and less being dragged behind bikes."

"You're going to have to remind me to make sure I write down a copy of the recipie. This is a new trick for this old dog." And he might forget, but it was kind of nice to have a skill that could be appreciated that didn't involve motors (People appreciated that a lot less than you'd think, and he got tired fast of people assuming he was taking advantage of their ignorance to rip them off) or punching. ' "Anyway I guess I've got my work cut out for me, huh? But I guess I should get rollin'. Places to go, things to do."

"Old dog," Camelot couldn't help but laugh at that. He knew old when he saw it and, unfortunately, he only ever seemed to see it when he looked in the mirror. The jokes he got from the younger Senshi and Negas beat him down sometimes, but he wasn't too concerned about it. It was something he had gotten used to.
Maybe too much so, when he thought about it.
"Alright, thanks for the food, and the talk. If you need to find me, I patrol around the library. I suppose I don't need to say that... as you're already pretty good at finding me, and we cross paths easily enough."
He laughed at that, shaking his head and sighing. His stomach was content and he was feeling better about the state of the war, if only because he saw that Chaos was not complete brainwashing, like he used to think. He saw that there was still hope, no matter how bleak things got. For whatever reason they could think of, they still had a choice. That was something to work with, and it was the first bit of good news he'd gotten in a while.
