Whipping her head around, America scanned the hall to make sure he was just joking and not like...warning them. Against large flying insects attacking from above. That happened to be poisonous. Not that she thought they were going to attack the party of course, her cards were on the party coming to them. But it didn't hurt to be cautious. It was then she noticed Man Mountain's glittery state, "It's a Halloween party, dude, not Prom. Where did you even find that much glitter?"

"Oh. My. God." Pandora had finally noticed America's man-mountain, and with Shiloh's distraction she had lost focus as well. She sauntered right up to Robert with a starry-eyed look that could only mean trouble. "Are you supposed to be Edward??" Without waiting for an actual answer, she grabbed his glitter covered arm and yanked him a foot and a half down to her level with a wide grin. " Twiilight is my favorite book," she whispered in Robert's ear in the same manner that serial killers described their favorite method of murdering people.

Edward grinned violently and opened his arms. "Give us a hug, President!" Her answer would be a glittery hug. She wouldn't have to get his herpes, however - as Pandora saved her from the hug, pulling him down to her level.
His eyes went big as saucers at the whisper, and he held his hand out for a high five. "Dude. ********. Hell yes." He whispered co-conspiratorilly.

The high five was returned with somewhat of a high-pitched girly squeal. And glitter everywhere.

Social situations were of steadily decreasing importance for Mimsy, but she was still in attendance, and was absolutely not dressed as Bella, in spite of a fair bit of pleading and insistence from Robert. As a kind and gracious sister, she'd brought Lucky along, and the two of them even kind of matched. She was neither drinking nor speaking to anyone, and was not in the immediate vicinity of any glittering bodies, but she was viciously glaring towards one vampire and one toga-wearing girl. Her hand on Lucky's shoulder tightened dangerously towards the 'painful' direction, and she gave him a forced smile. "Would you like a drink?" she asked through her teeth, maintaining the smile.

It was too much, the sudden hugging and squeezing of Robert let off another cloud of glitter that simply caught those too close off guard. Roland was now less phantom of some sort of low budget opera, and now a very, very, sparkly looking phantom.
He also couldn't hear out of one ear clearly due to the squealing.
"Wait wait, what's Twilight, wasn't that a book?"

Chel scooted up to Jack in her own mustachioed hero costume (though probably not the way most remember mario). Most of the clothing had been pilfered from her (and a few friends'...) closets- only the hat had to be pawned off one of the nerdier trainees. Having no portal access was hard.
"Birthday boy eh?" she purred. "Aren't you supposed to be in your birthday suit then?"
Maybe Chel had already gotten a little tipsy before coming here. Or maybe that was just the way Chel was. Probably the latter, maybe a little bit of the former.

Finn heard there was a party, and while still a bit soured on the idea after a certain beach gathering turned into a certain s**t fest, and after a harmless deodorant try-on into a ******** centipede infested nightmare, the moon trainee was, understandably, hesitant to even leave his room that evening. It had taken some long, incredibly careful thought for him to decide you know what, ******** it. Third times a charm, right?, and to finally just get his (fine) a** to the party. Dressed in a hoodie (with the hood up) black jeans, and black shoes, Finn showed up in the basement. His left arm was still bandaged and slinged, and in his right hand he clutched a bottle filled with amber liquid. Spotting Jack, because how could he not, he strode over to the taller man, bumped him in the shoulder, then turned and thrust the bottle (which was of expensive looking whiskey) at his friend. "Happy Birthday, ******** face." He smiled, eyes as dead and cold as was the norm. "Feel free to not share this with anybody but me."

Party? Booze? Shiloh?
Ian was so there.
"Hello, boys," he said, upon entering the "dungeon," dressed in a set of form-fitting, glow-in-the-dark skeleton clothes. He slapped a hand on Finn's back, gave a thumbs up to Jack, and proceeded to slide right on over to where Shiloh stood, looking expectant.
"Did I hear booze."

The cellphones that were being used for lighting flickered off, and then a new song began to play. The phones lit back up and began to strobe along with the beat. The basement crew had obviously gotten some outside help with this. But where had all these phones come from anyway?

After having a real moment with Pandora, Robert had another moment - of incredulous horror - with Roland. He stared at the man, his mouth opening, and then closing. It was a fine line between admitting how much of a fan he was, and trying to play it cool.
So he didn't say anything at all.
But he stared. Ohhh, how he stared.
A song started blaring, and Robert's mighty, emo vampire form started bobbing back and forth. He stopped in mid-bob when he saw Lucky and Mimsy, and turned, bobbing embarrassingly towards them and wrapping his arms around Mimsy from behind.
Or, he would have. He remembered the glitter, and paused before those arms touched her. A very quiet whimper left him, and he kissed the back of her neck instead. (It was easy to forget your face was covered in glitter, too.)
"COME ON GUYS LETS DANCE." Yes Lucky, you too. No excuses.

Squealing and glitter. Right.
Well he could always just grab his booze and go . . . He was very good at partying on his own--Only then Chel had scooched on in with what he could only describe was the bare minimum of a costume without being considered indecent.
Oh, Halloween~ Bring on the beautifully slutty costumes.
"Not in public," he answered with a smile, painted skeletal teeth stretching to accommodate for his actual ones. "But in private, perhaps. You are . . ." The pause clearly stated that Jack had probably never picked up a video game in his life, or if he had he had then stayed under a rock for a decade. ". . . Mario, right? I hope you aren't cold in that~"
Shortly afterwards he felt a bump on his shoulder and was presented with the sight of one mostly recovered Finn in a Finn costume (alright) and a bottle of alcohol (definitely alright). The smile stretched into a bigger grin as he clasped his friend's shoulder. "You shouldn't have~ I'll save it for later; first toast will go to you. How's the arm?"
Spying Ian's thumbs up, Jack passed one back to him and Shiloh (though he had no intention of going near the lumbering vampire and his vile glitter if possible). "Do me a favor: don't choke on the candy, boys. I'd like one night without having to watch someone keel over."
Something equally as shiny as the glitter but of more worth to him glinted in the strobe-lit darkness and, most curious, he intended to find out what it was. Making to casually wrap an arm around Chel as well, he moved forward to investigate the lone hunter in such posh clothes.
"Nice goblet, your highness," he greeted, his eyes falling to the cup in his hand. "Is that authentic?"

Nevada sneaked her way from her room to the basement floor, looking around for said party with invitation. After sharing her small stash with Otto for his birthday, she decided to donate the rest to the other teens of deus.
Also luckily, she was quick thinking, turning one of her plain white dresses with a corset, bandana and Eyepatch, made her one awesome pirate on the fly.
Once down in the basement, music blared loudly, phones were lighting up and well...
God this felt amazing after that mission.
"America!" Nevada waved to the girl, lazily sauntering her way over to the girl and held out her bag of candy bars and 1 bottle of booze. "Hey, I like to donate to the cause hun, This is amazing..."

"Oh come on, you have to try a little harder than that Jack. I'm not so easily won!" On the contrary, she was actually the farthest thing from "playing hard to get" as it got- but that didn't matter, right?
She nodded as his question about Mario (who didn't know Mario, seriously ...), but didn't say anything more as two others had joined them. Now Finn she knew (he got a wink when he came over), but the Indian one? Nope. Nothing in the registry.
Chel nudged Jack. "Who's your skeleton friend Jack? Rude to not introduce a proper lady, gosh."

"Yo, Stateside!" America crowed happily over the music, bouncing along with it as she relieved Nevada of her goodies and placed them on the rack. "Thanks! If we're gunna live in a dungeon, we'd best having a rocking Halloween party, right? So are you out to pillage some booty tonight?" America's eyes dropped a bit, automatically zeroing in on a passing a**. Running for your life have obvious benefits when it came to firmness and muscle tone.
