After asking such a stupid question, Izan just seemed to smile. He probably thinks I'm such an idiot right now... Despite her flustering, he proceeded to answer the question, totally bluntly. She wasn't sure whether his answer was a good thing or a bad thing, but for some reason she felt sort of... relieved. It was hard to explain, but before she could analyze it too much, he turned around and asked her whether she had ever had a boyfriend. Oh no, I'm going to seem like such a slut now... For a moment, she toyed with the idea of lying and saying that she had never had a boyfriend, but that didn't seem entirely fair to him. "Well, I've had a few..." she replied hesitantly. Quickly, she added, "But I've always felt like outsider back home, so they never lasted long and I was never very serious with any of them..." After saying this, Eva realized how her words might be interpreted and turned bright red again. She met his eyes, and added, again, "But not like... that...!" Eva said, the words barely coming out before she just cast her gaze away from his in embarrassment. I should just learn to quit while I'm ahead...

She was more embarrassed of herself than anything at the moment. Her face lit up like a tomato, that surely was entertaining to watch. He knew she wasn't the type who would just waste away her youth. It was good to be spending it to find someone whom she liked. Either way he didn't find it much of an aspect to change their current relationship. "My my, Eva-chan had a couple huh? Looks like I'll need your assistance if I ever want to meet a nice women." Izan paid for the lunch and messed with Eva's hair and made his way towards the exit of the cafe. "Well, you wanna go do something instead of wasting our day off?" Izan grinned widely as he stuck his thumb up and out the door.

Though Izan acted as though nothing had changed, Eva had the nagging feeling that she had just messed something up. She wasn't sure what, but she must have just asked a weird question. Still, there was no point in waiting around, so she nodded in response to his offer and tried to regain herself. "Of course. What did you have in mind?" she lifted her voice at the end, trying to lighten things through her speech alone. After all, there was probably no point in dwelling on her shortcomings in social situations. Not all, of course, but for some reason she just couldn't really gather herself. It would probably come with some time.

Reiko Yamamoto, a fairly average girl, made her way into the mostly empty café/ inn. She had seen little action lately but Death had told her about a new partner. She had only had one before so she was slightly hesitant to be partnering up again. The girl sat down at an empty table and ordered well simply a water. She folded her hands as she awaited her partner and her drink. She had no idea what type of person this new meister was going to be or even if it were a boy or a girl. She was nervous about it. She just hoped that her new partner would be a good person, or at least a decent meister.
Clair slowly entered the cafe, a bit unsure about her new partner since she never was good with other girls. She looked around the cafe then spotted the girl who was in the picture she was shown by Death. Claira made her way toward the girl, once there she quietly said, "Hello, are you the one who was assigned as my partner?"

Reiko looked up at this new face. Her new meister was another girl, and she didn't look like a bad person. Those were both pluses in Reiko's mind. The waitress had brought Reiko's water soon before the other had shown up. Reiko took a sip of her water and then set the glass down onto the table "I think so." She smiled at the girl before standing up and extended a hand out to her for her to shake "My name is Reiko, What's yours?" She was glad that she would be finally be getting back into the action of the DWMA.
Clair slowly sat down across from her. She ordered a sweet tea then turned back to the girl named Reiko. "My name is Claira but since your my new partner you may call me Clair." She said with a slight smile. When the the waitress came back with her tea Clair thanked her in Japanese and took a long sip.

Reiko sat back down and pushed a few strands of hair out of her face. She took another sip of her water "Well ok then Clair, I didn't really get told much about you at all so I guess we should get to know each other. I am a chain sword, a sword that can split and stretch due to it being made out of multiple links." She smiled at her new partner.
Claira nodded and smiled back. "Yes same here I've barely heard anything. That's awesome, and I'm glad because I'm better with swords than anything else. Well a little about me is that I moved here a year ago and I've been training since I got here so that I can be a great Meister."

Reiko nodded, hearing about her partner, or at least a little bit about her. She smiled "Well it's good you have been trying hard to do your best. That's really what matters." She took another sip of her water. Reiko was really excited that her meister liked swords more than anything else. She could feel they were going to have a good relationship as weapon and meister. Perhaps that's why Death paired them together.
Claira sipped her tea again very unsure, only of the fact that her partner was a girl. She just really wanted them to be friends but she was afraid to mess it up. Clair looked up at Reiko. "So...tell me more about yourself, your likes and dislikes things like that."

"Oh uh ya I like to dance and read. Oh and training is always fun." She really didn't do too much in her free time. It was actually rather sad. She smiled anyway though "How about yourself? What do you like to do for fun?"
Claira nodded, she smiled when Reiko talked about her intrests. "Yes definatly training a lot! But other than that I ummm well I like to read an write and....oh singing, I love singing! And sweets!!" Clair giggled slightly.
