Mortimer cocked his head to the side. "Really? Most tend to think I want to murder them when I come in contact with normal earth ponies." He shook his head. "I think it's the stereotype of all vampires are evil and have a lust for blood." He paused for a minute. "Although I can't say I do not love the taste of an actual ponies blood." Mortimer then looked down at himself a bit ashamed. "However, I won't loose control like that. Not like Lucifer at least."

She smiled. "I'm not most people. A lot in my family are not most people. We live in a kingdom filled with goblins who like to steal your socks and move things around on you... All the while stealing children for more goblins."
Her smile softened. "No, I don't steal little ones. I think the kingdom's got enough goblins."
She looked at him. "You won't loose control..."

Mortimer nodded his head. "Indeed. That's nice to know." He looked around the area. "So what do you tend to do in your spare time?" He was trying to make conversation as best as he could and he didn't want to seem too depressing to her. After all, she had been kind enough to talk to him and not judge him too harshly like some did. "I take it your kingdom must be pretty large then?"
