鶴∙[ He thought back to his shirt. Yuujirou was sensitive to such smells, he should clean it before he got back. He got out some sewing materials to stitch the slit in the fabric. He picked out a thread that matched before working on it. When he was done, he went to clean out as much blood in the sink before throwing his cloths into the wash. The scent would probably still linger in the room so he turned on the fan and opened a window. He went to the sink again to wash his hands. He couldn't really get the smell out. It would fade eventually. It wasn't like Yuujirou was coming back any time soon. He searched around his room for his weapons. He should have them ready in case of any other incidents were to occur. He hadn't used them in a while so he worked on sharpening the blades and arrow heads. ]∙鶴

Yuujirou sighed a bit as he entered the dorm. "First a murder, and now monsters... Why?" He leaned against the wall and slid down until he was sitting. Yuujirou's ears perked as he caught a familiar scent. "...Haruto?" He turned his head towards the scent. His eyes widened as he caught a scent of dirt and blood. "A-Are you injured, Haruto?" He stood.

鶴∙[ Haruto looked up as he heard the door. As Yuujirou came in, he placed down what he was working on and got up from his bed. He cocked his head at the mention of a murder. He could relate to the monsters. "Hello Yuujirou" he said once the other male realized he was there. He went over to give the male a hug. "I'm fine. I already healed it" though he was feeling a bit stressed out. It was nice having his roommate in the room right now. He breathed a sigh before letting him go. "I was with some friends and we ran into some violent creatures at the marketplace" he explained, "It's best to avoid it right now. I couldn't even land a hit with any of my arrows. I even broke the lighting above it and it remained unscathed." ]∙鶴

"Oh my...." Yooujirou's ears drooped a bit. "That sounds terrifying..." He sighed. "I was going to go sniff out those monsters... I guess being scared of things can save your butt." He chuckled. "Anyway, I'm glad that you're alright." He sat on his bed and sighed a bit. "What is going on with this place today....? All I've been smelling since this morning is blood..."

鶴∙[ "Yeah, 'terrifying' is an accurate description" he wasn't that much worried about himself. Haruto went back to his bed work on his weapons. "My friends were able to get one. It sounded like the creatures were suffering as well... Except for the big guy." When Yuujirou mentioned that it was since this morning, it reminded him about what he said earlier. "Didn't you mention something about a murder when you came in?" he asked. Maybe the events were connected. Maybe they weren't. He doubted that either of them would have enough information to be able to put any puzzle pieces together. ]∙鶴

"Yes..." He looked down. "I don't know who it was, but someone was murdered in the hallway earlier. It was crazy." He shook slightly. Yuujirou quickly shook his head and stopped. "I heard people screaming about a 'shadow' or something."

鶴∙[ Haruto didn't notice anything with a shadow at the Market. "You'd think it would be nicer here..." he said with a sigh as he finished touching up his weapons. He thought he left such things in his past, far far away. He got up, closing the window before sitting next to Yuujirou. He rested his head on his shoulder. "Let's just stay here for a while. It sounds pretty chaotic outside," he suggested. Of course they had to eventually go back out, but he wanted to relax for a bit. ]∙鶴

"That sounds like a good idea..." He leaned back onto his bed. "....Makes me think of one of my father's stories..." He chuckled. "He once told me of a great foe that threatened the pack. The only way they were able to take it out was by working together..." Yuujirou yawned and stretched. "Then again, that's animals. These are.... different...."

鶴∙[ "I think it might work in this case as well" he said. "With group effort one was already taken care of. If people work together I'm sure they rest will as well." He was curious if the school knew. They must. Perhaps they were organizing some counter attack or investigation. It shouldn't just be up to the students to do something about it. ]∙鶴

鶴∙[ "I wouldn't want to be part of any school that kills people for a petty test" he replied. Why would someone even bother forcing them to work in groups? Whatever the gain, he didn't think it was worth the loss. One could argue the deaths were faked, but given the look of the marketplace he didn't think that many deaths could be a fake. ]∙鶴

鶴∙[ Haruto laid on his belly next to him. "It makes you want to believe it's just fake..." he muttered. He turned on his side. "Oh yeah, sorry I made the room smell. I have the fan on to try to air it out," he said, referring to the smell of blood. He still thought it might be a while before it was really gone since Yuujirou had a good sense of smell. He didn't think keeping the window open would help. Yuujirou had said he had been smelling blood since this morning. The air probably smelled outside. "Now that I think about it, something should be done about the bodies. Not just to put them at rest but because of the body count it might start reeking..." Blood was a nice scent compared to decaying flesh. He knew it would be a pain to clean up especially with those creatures still running about. He nuzzled his face into the blanket. ]∙鶴

"All this senseless violence.... It makes no sense." He sighed. "Oh, and, the smell is fine. It smells a lot better in here than out there." Yuujirou chuckled. He rolled onto his back and stretched his hands towards the ceiling. "Yes... They must properly bury those fallen people." He opened his eyes. "This is one of the few times that I am actually thankful that I cannot see." Yuujirou chuckled slightly.

鶴∙[ "Well, the big guy at the market seemed like he was just doing it for fun. Sometimes things aren't complex enough to need a motive" he replied, "Though a murder and a sudden spawning of creatures the same day... it can't be coincidence. There has to be some common feature."
He laughed as well about the blood, "You're a wolf and I'm a bird. It probably just smells like dinner to you" he joked, "Your bed must smell like food now as well" He smiled, his mood feeling a bit better.
Their tone turned a bit solem again at the mention of the bodies. "Yeah..." he said, "It's terrible. After living for such a long time the sights and the gore you can easily get used to. The one thing that bothers me is the lack of care for life and the sorrow and suffering it causes." Haruto had seen so many deaths. He was very aware of the troubles of it all. He scooted a bit closer to Yuujirou and wrapped an arm around his, burying his face in his shoulder. "Don't you dare die..." he muffled into his arm in an jocular tone to hide the seriousness nature of the words. He had enough friends vanish in the sands of time. He couldn't expect anyone to keep such a promise to him. It was unrealistic. ]∙鶴
