 Loki ~ God of Mischief
Loki felt the man tremble in his arms. Again the strange feeling rose in his chest and Loki held Stelian tighter. His hand on the the man's neck slid until his fingers were entwined in Stelian's hair as Loki leaned his head gently into his. "Lian... it's, going to be alright," the words left Loki's mouth before he had realized what he was saying and his eyes flew open wide when he did. There most be something truly wrong with him.

Loki ~ God of Mischief
Loki took in a breath as Stelian spoke of something he actually had familiarity with. He pulled a way for a moment and lifted up Stelian's face with the top of his hand. "Many things can topple an empire. But if you let it this will consume you whole, curse or not," Loki's words were more that of a war strategist then a concerned friend but the look on his face seemed to convey both as he took hold of Stelian's hand and began to guide him over the to the coach to sit.

Stelian Maximoff-Rogers: Art Instructor Stelian plopped down on the couch and sighed running his fingers through his hair. "Yeah...but I mean I didn't know the man until about ten years ago or so...He never knew bout me. But when I did find him....we hit it off. He was everything my mother said he was and he even accepted me no questions asked. He regretted not being there for me growin up but he made up for it, showed me art and also taught me how to fight. I was part of his team for a few years then he sent me to school for me to learn art and teach it...he kinda became my whole world...the man I always looked up to. Sure my uncle was there for me and so was my grandfather when he found out my mom had me but there was just something about my dad that gave me everything i was looking for." He stopped and took a breath before looking up at Loki with wide eyes. He quickly stood up again looking slightly panicked. "How about a beer?"

Loki a seat next to Stelian before listening to him speak. He found himself smiling as this had been the most the man had talked to him since they had met and there was much passion in it. Loki looked surprised as Stelian shot up but smiled once he realized the man's misplaced discomfort. "If you need to talk, Lian, that's fine. Although I think it's best I not comment on the subject. I have some experience but it all goes fuzzy after his shield hit me in the face," Loki said in an attempt to make Stelian laugh and lighten his spirit. Loki turned to Stelian and gave a smirk, "A beer will be fine."

Stelian Maximoff-Rogers: Art Instructor Stelian grabbed a couple of beers and sighed. "Sorry...I just heard stories from Thor about the whole s**t between you and your dad...erm...Odin." He blew some of his hair out of his face. "Hell...sorry Im just a ******** up mess right now. I looked up to Captain America as a kid you know? Hell I looked up to the Avengers my whole life, then my mom told me that he was my dad and it blew my mind." He sighed again as he popped the cap off his beer. "Hell they were the insperation for all of my art. Between them and my mom...I always had a subject to draw." He sighed as he pulled a sketchbook out from under the coffee table and flipped it open to a picture of Scarlet Witch in all her glory laughing with her brother Quicksilver.

Loki scooted a bit so that he could admire the picture better. He gave a smile before taking his own beer. He admired it for a moment, never having midgardian alcohol before, then opened it and took a drink. He took a moment and noticed that it was no where near as strong as what he was use to but almost enjoyed the fact since he never did like getting drunk like the others and this way he could drink more. He turned to Stelian and gave him a reassuring smile, "Believe me, nothing of what Thor could have possibly told you even begins to cover it. And besides I can enj... ahem, talk about other peoples problems without linking them to my own." Loki had to look away for a moment as he had almost stuck his foot in his mouth.

"Oh is that what I'm doing," Loki covered himself with a smile as he leaned back against the coach crossing his legs, "If you haven't noticed, me being myself self seems to cause a quite a bit of collateral damage and bodily harm to myself and ends with my brother hauling me off for daddy dearest to yell at me. In fact I think that was my earliest memory." Loki seemed to laugh at this as if it was a joke before turning to look at Stelian, "Although I do find it quite adorable that your finally trying to figure me out."

Stelian said as he sipped his beer. "Trust me Id probably prefer you to Thor...hes so loud it makes it hard to do anything."

"Yes I can. I can be just as terrify and horrible as the rest," Loki turned up his nose in a teasing way, faking that he was hurt by the comment, "I just haven't been as of late. Can't a god take a break and have some fun?" He took another drink of the beer as he finally remembered he had it and grinned at Stelian's comment, "He is rather loud isn't he, and they put the muzzle on me."

Loki thought for a moment and gave Stelian a mischievous look, "With alcohol and an image like that in my head a man could get excited." Loki continued to bold tease the man enjoying his now better mood. If Stelian wanted him to stop pretending he would have to oblige after all. Although he would never admit that he'd been intentionally stepping on his own tongue for the man.

Loki took another drink as he head drifted up in Varic's direction. He squinted for a moment, "You never did tell me what that strange little thing is." Loki had almost forgotten the creature had been in the room at all it had been so silent. He found it's lurking a bit irritating, especially with how it had ruined his fun earlier.
