Hiamovi frowns softly when he notes the scarring, head dipping down to inspect his pouch for something that could help. "Mm...I wish I had something to help you. I truly did forget your anatomy. To me you are female." Content that the fact he'd simply taken her as a female and forgotten otherwise had seemed to help, he puts the herbs away.
For a long quiet moment the native lion tries to imagine being stuck in a body not built right for him, the thought rather...terrifying. Shaking his head he looks to Chozi once more, shifting closer slowly before resting a paw on her shoulder gently. "It is understandable to feel bitter. I hear that those of a mix are less fertile. While it may not offer much comfort, if you are able you would still be creating life. Do you think a God or Goddess could do anything? I have no idea what all they are capable of..."
With a soft sigh he tries to cheer her up, booping her cheek with his paw gently. "For what it is worth, you are beautiful."

"It looks better now than it did," she mentioned, though. She touched the patch before focusing her attentions back onto Hia. "A god or goddess might be able to. Maybe one day, I'll find out!" It was a hope she carried despite her bitterness.
Of course, the last comment made her beam brightly, nearly choking her up with emotional. "Thank you, truly. You are very kind," She breathed out. She brought a paw up to hide the bright grin, suddenly shy.

Chuckling softly Hia nudges the now shy Chozi's cheek with his muzzle, clearly happy to see such a positive response. "I only speak the truth. You really are. You are the first hybrid I have ever seen, exotic in my eyes."
Padding toward the water he scoops a little out and begins working to further soothe his paws, the journey ahead of him no doubt a long one though for now he'd need to stay off of them. "Mm...I might be around for a bit. I have no home, so I travel often. You can see the results of that here.."

She gave a soft laugh. "Then maybe one day you will look upon me and find me not so special," she teased a little. She had honestly never thought herself special, though she did have an interesting life so far. "I come out of the pride very often, so you will see a lot of me if you stay near this tree," she told him, looking up at the tree. "It'll provide a decent shelter and plenty of water at least," she smiled.

"I may wander a bit to collect herbs, but if you do not mind I may come back to this spot often. I hope we can talk more." He gave her a warm smile, a gentle nuzzle to her neck a tad affectionatly. Upon realizing what he'd done the large male feels his face heat up slightly from shyness, a soft chuckle heard. "Finding you special will not change."
Sitting up straight he can't help but look bashful now. It wasn't normal for him to simply nuzzle another and he hoped sincerely she wouldn't be offended.

"If you then so, then I'll believe you," she giggled when he nuzzled her. It had been a long while since anyone had been openly affectionate towards her - not in this way at least. Tikoto didn't do gentle affection. She pressed against his side, nuzzling back just a bit. "Very well, I'll visit as often as possible. It was a nice day, and it was becoming more wonderful the longer it went on. Perhaps a nap by the tree with the lion would be a good choice...
