"You should go back, look around, see what's there," said Finn, fumbling around for his phone. He didn't want to burden Rene with this any more than he already had, but in the event that he actually managed to survive, he could see where having his number would come in handy. He pulled up a new contact and handed the phone over. "You'll, uh, you'll learn a lot of stuff."
If his and Mistral's wonders were any example, then Mercury was an absolute treasure trove.
"Speaking dude to dude," he continued, "I'd really rather skip the dirt nap, too. I like being alive." His father's death was too recent as well - Finn couldn't bear the thought of putting his mother and his sister through that process again. "Anyway, this is my stop." Just two flights of stairs and then he could fall over and... sleep. Definitely sleep. No dying at all.
Finn held his hand out for his phone. "Thanks, man," he said. "I owe you one once I'm done with all this."
