Mary halted her attack as Mirai teleported but didn't turn in time to avoid Mirai's sword. The sword sliced straight down into her arm but stopped at the bone with a loud metallic sound. In the wound, the white of the bone could be seen but interwoven tightly into it like tight threads was some kind of metal that was clearly extremely hard. Mary jerked her arm downwards and away from Mirai's blade before spinning around and attempting to whip Mirai across the face. She quickly followed with a roundhouse kick aimed at her face and finished by bringing her wounded-but-now-healing arm around and trying to whip Mirai straight across the torso. SC had to slightly duck to avoid the whip from the last attack but otherwise stood calmly on her perch as she watched the fight.


Abilities:

Mary cracked her whip as she began walking towards Mirai. Her expression was grim and she didn't seem the slightest bit proud or pleased with her success. "I'm sorry about this..." She said quietly as she walked towards Mirai's prostrate form. Her arm was already healing from where Mirai had cut it. "Please believe me when I say I'm sorry about this..." "Yeah, for what that's worth. Which is nothing." SC replied, licking her paws as she stood on her perch. Mary gave a death glare to the cat before she turned back to Mirai, seeing her slowly get up. She prepared herself for another attack, but even she wasn't ready for the thousands of orbs Mirai created. Her eyes widened before the orbs began to hit her, slamming into her from every direction causing burn damage all across her body. She jerked back and forth before falling to one knee, gritting her teeth from the pain. One eye was squeezed shut but her other one was open, looking at Mirai. One of Mary's whips had also dissolved during the attack. She lifted up her hand and reached it out towards Mirai as if she were trying to grab her even though she was too far away. Then blood quickly coalesced around her hand. "It'll take a lot more than that," she told Mirai. Suddenly the blood on Mary's hand shot forward, extending like a bizarre red rubber band, except that it was in the shape of a massive clawed hand. It came towards Mirai's face, attempting to grab her by it and slam her hard into the wall behind her. Whether or not it was successful in doing so, it would also try and crush her skull with pure force.

4. Bloody Reach: Mary thrusts out her arm and her blood flows around it before shooting forward in the shape of an arm ending in a large clawed hand (roughly a little larger than someone’s head). The arm can extend a great distance to grab someone or something as well as being able to attack them. The hand can retract as well as extend and she can quickly pull anything she grabs back to her. If it takes enough damage, the hand will dissipate but it won’t cause any damage to Mary.

Mary leaned back just in time to dodge the ground uppercut. She leaned forward again quickly and formed another whip in her other hand. She began to whip around her furiously, destroying most of the bricks that came her way. But some still made it through and pounded her from every direction. She stumbled slightly, bleeding from multiple wounds. But it would only be a very short amount of time before those healed. SC finished licking her paws and looked up at Mirai, seeing that she was badly wounded. "Need help?" She asked calmly as Mary finished destroying the last of the bricks. She glared at Mirai as she wiped some blood off her face. There was anger in her glare, but unlike the other Machinists there wasn't any hatred or disgust. "You're already bleeding out. Just stop fighting," she said.

Mary winced slightly as she watched Mirai burn her wounds shut. It would help the bleeding stop but the nano-machines would continue to slightly damage her from the inside. She waited for her to burn her wounds. It wouldn't matter in the end. Mary had to do what she had to do, and Saint Clara had taught her how to do it very well. When Miria stood up and released a flash of light, Mary raised her arms to protect her eyes, lowering them in time to see Mirai transform. She could sense the huge change in power. The hybrid had certainly been fighting with less than full strength before. "So this is a hybrid..." Mary muttered to herself, slightly surprised by the huge difference in strength. "I can see the potential...I can see why Saint Clara was worried about their danger..." SC went back to cleaning her paws when Mirai didn't answer her, deciding to let the two of them continue without interruption. Mary prepared herself as Mirai launched at her, blood covering her hands. The blood formed into a giant pair of dragon-like clawed hands that covered hers. They were about twice the size of her normal hands and each finger ended in a pitch black, light-reflecting claw that was razor sharp. She folded her arms into an X as Mirai slashed at her, slicing up her arms and shoulders. Mary's sleeves were shredded and blood ran all down her arms before she managed to get an attack in edgewise. She lowered one clawed-hand and attempted to uppercut Mirai straight to the chin, timing her attack to be in between one of Mirai's strikes.

Augmentation(s): Mary Weiss's blood is full of nano-machines injected into her during her augmentation process. These nano-machines drastically increase her healing rate but more importantly they allow her to artificially manipulate her blood into weapons and other physical attacks similar to black blood though without many of the effects of madness. Her most common manifestation of this is a long, thin red whip that she uses to attack opponents from a medium distance. Her bones have also been augmented to make them more robust, able to take much more damage than a normal human. Her nervous system is also enhanced to give her superior motor coordination and reaction times.

3. Blood Claws: Mary’s blood flows around her hands, creating large clawed hands around her own that she can manipulate as if they are her own. Lacerations caused by these claws are resistant to healing and the opponent is infected with nano-machines that continually cause internal damage until their immune system destroys them.

Mary shielded herself as best she could when Mirai shot flames at her. Despite this, the bodyguard was still severely burned all over her body. After several moments she focused enough of her resonance force to blast the flames away. Then she came at Mirai again, this time with both claws out and ready. She jumped forward and attempted a horizontal slash before spinning to her side and trying to kick her in the ribs. She finally followed up with a swipe to the back of her head with her claws and another kick aimed at the back of her knee to try and bring her down.

Mary took the bullets that Mirai fired, allowing the bullets to damage her body and spill blood, but instead of backing down she raised up one arm, the bloody dragon-like paw shooting upwards and towards Mirai as she came down towards Mary. Ideally, she would use the hand to grab Mirai by the face and pull down, using both her strength and Mirai's own momentum to slam her straight into the ground head-first.

Mary watched as her attack worked but was quickly surprised by Mirai's retaliation. She winced as her head was suddenly slammed straight into the ground just as she had done to Mirai mere seconds ago. Mary slid her hands under her, grimacing as she pushed herself to her feet. "Yeah there is!" SC replied before going back to cleaning her paws. Mary swayed slightly before shaking her head. There was blood trickling from a wound on her forehead but it was slowly healing. Blood began to flow around one of her hands again and dashed forward, pulling back and attempting to jab her hand into Mirai. "Give in!" She yelled.

2. Hemorrhage: Mary covers her hand with synthetic blood and attempts to pierce her opponent’s body with a swift jab (fingers together and straight out). A hit penetrates deep into an opponent’s body causing them massive and continual blood loss. Healing effects are greatly reduced on this wound. In addition, the opponent is infected with some of the nano-machines from Mary’s body which will attack them internally. These nano-machines will be defeated by the opponent’s immune system eventually but in the mean time they will cause internal damage.
