Mel smiled "No problem, I bet you'll look great whatever you wear" she said in a friendly tone. She nodded when Moon told her that she fell sometimes like anyone else. Mel looked around the room, looking at all of Moon's stuff on her boat interested to see what all she had collected in her home. She hadn't noticed Moon's discomfort at Mel sitting near her, so she didn't think to move back. Till she noticed Moon's bright blush and she asked "Are you alright??" she asked hoping she hadn't done something wrong...

Moonstone: Leaping up, "Hm? Me, alright? Well I think I'm fine just a but jumpy I guess. Do you need a drink or something to eat?" Bouncing the ball she doesn't know what to say since she was never in this sort of situation before. "Um, want to sit around and read or bounce this ball around the room? Seeing as my stuff in here isn't very breakable if a rubber ball hits any of it." Blushes even more she hopes Melonie wants to do something to lessen the tension that she seemed to have made herself.
Mel smiled "Playing ball sounds like fun, here or out on the sand maybe" she said with a nod "Don't worry about being jumpy, it's alright, and just let me know if I'm making you uncomfortable ok" she said firmly "We're friends now, so it's ok to let me know how you feel" she said gently.

Moonstone: Her blush fades away as she ponders this, "I never tried playing with it outside on the sand. Never really thought of sand being something that a rubber ball could bounce off of since it sinks/surrounds stuff." She shrugs not sure then sitting up she takes the ball in-between both her paws and squishing and un-squishing it, "I'll try not to, it's just I haven't gotten close to anyone so it's all very strange to me having you so close." Then quickly looking up she really squishes the navy blue bouncy ball sort of startled, "Though I don't mind, it'll help me get used to others being sort of close to me." Moonstone nods her head smiling a bit, "I'm glad we're friends and I'll try to remember that from now on."
Mel nodded "That makes sense" Melonie smiled gentle and said "It's ok, we can take this friendship at the pace you need, and if your to uncomfortable I can go home and give you some space" she said nicely She scooted back so she wasn't smothering Moon. She smiled and waited for Moon to throw the ball.

Smiling back, "Alright, because I was thinking it might make sense. Though lots of things make sense in ones mind, speaking it out loud is an entirely different thing and sometimes doesn't make as much sense as in ones mind." Nodding her head, "That sounds great to me" Pouting and shaking her head no, "That doesn't sound great to me, I'd rather you stayed no matter how uncomfortable I feel since I enjoy having someone to talk to." Getting hyped she tosses the ball so it'll bounce over to Melonia after bouncing off the wall.
Mel smiled and then said "Relax if you want me to stay, I'll stay if you want me to go I'll go, or we can meet up later, it's up to you what speed we take this" she said warmly and confidently

Her ears perk up not wishing Melonie to leave just yet, "Oh, don't leave because of me. I'll get used to having you here as long as I have something to do. We can talk, play games, and anything else that will keep me busy. Also, do you want anything to eat or drink? I can make some hot coco with the packets I have are the ones with the small colorful marshmallows. Though I have apple juice, orange juice, bottled water of course, and milk for the hot coco. For things to eat I have a few different bags of cookies, bread, fruit, and fish that I buy at the market since I don't fish." Then she waits to see if she wants anything while also waiting for her to pass back the bouncy ball by either bouncing it against the wall, bouncing it to her, or rolling it over would be fine too. By now she might not need something to do with her waiting to bounce the ball around some more. Sometimes a bouncy ball gets her attention quicker than shiny/sparkly items the way she gets all excited and waits for it to return so she can bounce it around her room some more.
Mel smiled and said "Hot coco and cookies would be great, if your sure I'm not making you to uncomfortable" she said warmly

Blushing, "Oh that's great to hear, I'll get go start making the hot coco then I can bring some cookie in while the milk is heating up. Also I really will be fine after a while. When I'm too busy playing, talking, or entertaining guest I'm too busy to feel uncomfortable. At least I think so since it's been a good while since I've been around others for more then a few minutes." Turning she starts leaving the room then slows to a stop to look over, "I'll be back in about two to three minutes so feel free to entertain yourself while I am away?" Walking into her kitchen she gets the milk, a measuring cup, hot coco packets, honey, and mini marshmallows. The honey because she enjoys honey in just about any warm milk drink. After pouring the milk into the measuring cup she opens the microwave door then places it in the center. Closing the door she puts four minutes then starts the microwave up. She's not sure how much hot coco Melonie will drink though she plans on drinking two cups. Which is why she decided to put four cups of milk. Then getting three different bags of cookies and a a large bowl she starts heading back while the milk warms up.
"Alright then I'll be right here when you get back" she said warmly. Melonie wasn't sure what to do while she wait, so she just wait, she didn't want to pull out a book and appear rude when Moon returned. Mel really hope she and Moon could make this trip fun, she didn't want Moon uncomfortable. She sighed softly trying to think of a way to break the ice..

Getting back to the room she smiles brightly, "I grabbed three different bags of cookies. A bag of mini chocolate chip cookie, a bag of mini sugar cookies, and a bag of peanut butter cookies. I have a lot more though I decided that these three choices would be good enough for now. The milk is warming up in there so it'll take just a few minutes." Seeing that she didn't seem to move anywhere she coos, "You can touch anything you want in this room since I mostly have a bunch of books in here and some random toys laying around." Placing the bags of cookies on the table between the chairs she goes to leave the room though stops for a second, "I'll go check on the milk it should be ready by now, with my microwave I can't hear it in another room." Then she waits a bit since nothing bad will happen if you lets the milk sit awhile in the hot microwave.
Melonie smiled and said "I love chocolate chip and sugar cookies thank you" she said wamrly and then she pulled a book about the ocean off the shelf and started looking through it while Moon dealt with the coco.
Smiling, "I'm glad you love those ones, I love them as well, and you are very welcome." Seeing her take a book she turns and goes back to the kitchen to finish up with the hot coco making. Reaching her kitchen she finds the beeping had occurred since the microwave's light is off. Walking over she opens the microwave then carefully handles the some what warm glass handle and places the measuring cup on the counter. After she does that takes the coco packets and tears the tops off then dumps them into the hot milk. Then takes a mini whisk to stir the powder into the milk till it looks just right. Then taking two good sized mugs she pours an even amount into each one before gathering up the bag of mini marshmallows and whipped topping. Placing them in a messenger bag so she can carry the tray with the hot coco out on the top of her head. With the help of her ears she keeps the stray steady as she makes her way into the living room.
Mel smiled when Moon came back in and gladly took the cup of hot coco carefully from Moon. "Thank you" she said sweetly

Moon smiles back then places the tray on the table then pulls the marshmallows and whipped topping out. "You are very welcome, I just love making hot coco. Though do you want any mini marshmallows or whipped topping?" Opening the bag she gathers a paw full then carefully places them in the mug. Taking the whipped topping container she shakes it till she thinks it's been shaken enough. Taking the cap off she swirls it till it's half way over the top. Then places some more marshmallows on top to give the whipped topping some color.
