"I.. Um.. never noticed there was another flower that resembled your description," he replied shyly, and let out a laugh when she giggled at him. "Y-yeah I am rather relieved that you were not after my tail." Again he laughed and walked alongside her a bit more comfortably and less stiff. "I am curious what flower you are t-talking about though..." he whispered without really knowing if she heard or not.
He helped brush some plants and leaves aside for his new acquaintance to pass through. His answer soon came into view. Peanut's eyes widened as her voice became more enthusiastic and eager. He followed closely as to where she was going and helped push some more plants aside. "I don't blame you for being so clumsy out of water. You resemble more of a fish than a phony.." Again, he was fascinated by the merphony's tail. There might be others like her out there in the waters... or on land since they have a floaty devices now. How convenient. If only they had devices to float on water.. He honestly hoped that the themepark owner would come up with something that wouldn't capsize like boats and freak him out at the thought of drowning...
The colt focused his attention back at the flower Holly ever so wanted. He stuck his nose close to it and sniffed. "Umm. This flower. I don't remember seeing it before..." The flower had a light pleasant scent to it. That'd be useful if she wanted to make perfume out of it. However, it was not a peanut flower, and, he had no interest in scented flowers. "D-do you want this?" he asked her. "I could d-dig it up for you with the roots still attached a-and all... I don't mind having my hooves dirty."

She blushed some when he mentioned her being more of a fish than a phony, going suddenly bashfully when he said that ", Yeah, it is kind of true. However, I like to still think of myself as a phony."
After he had helped her to the plant, she thanked him before listening to what he had to say ", Really? You have never seen it before? Are you sure you wouldn't want to keep it? It is really unique... just like you.

Peanut's face went red as a tomato again after he realised what he had just said out loud. "Uh... Um.. You know. Like a fish. But I didn't mean that you are actually a fish, fish.." Again he looked at the green mythical creature in front of him. The one that is talking to him. "A p-phony you still are." He hoped that she didn't find him rude.
His eyes then locked onto the flower that looked very much like his own tail. He bent down and dug at the soil with his front hooves. After some time of digging around the plant and lightly tapping at the roots with his hooves, he pushed the flower out of the soil with his nose and lips. "Never seen it before. You should take it," he went on as he shook the soil off of his body. "Something this unique should be taken care of, " he told her with a shy smile. His face still caked with dirt. "If it is left out here, someone - or something might eat it.. and no phony would know of its existence ever again." It's not like a lot of phonies knows that I exist but I plan to keep it that way. He bent down again and picked up the rare flower in his mouth. Slowly, he walked up to the merphony and put the delicate thing down in front of her.

FrostyPeaches No problem! How about the next one is the last one?
"Nutter Butter, can I come over more often? I want to be friends with you. Can we be friends?" Her mouth curled into a smile as she said this. She would love to be his friend.

"Just make s-sure you poke some holes in those bags so it can breathe," he told her with a slight concern wondering if she knew what she was doing. But that worry soon left as he saw her put away such a rare flower with utmost care. She seemed to have double bagged the plant too. He can't help but grin. She was good. Really good.
"Oh.." he uttered it out loud, caught off-guard by her questions. "Y-you want to c-come over more often?" he asked her back in surprise. The thought of being friends with another girl phony made his cheek flush red again. It's nice and all, but, hopefully he won't get teased for it by others if they found out that he had made friends with lots of girls already. "I... guess you m-may.." he went on, scratching his head nervously. Did the merphony just ask me to be friends with her?! HOW LUCKY!
Peanut's eyes shone like stars as he smiled back at her almost like he had just met someone famous. "Y-you can come visit me anytime, f-friend."

FrostyPeaches I enjoyed this thread very much. Perhaps we could do another with one of your other phonies?
She then looked back up at Nutter Butter, her eyes shinning as well. Her first friend! "I'll come back whenever I can, okay? It is kind of hard for me to get to the forest, but I now have a really good reason to come out here. You Nutter Butter," she waved goodbye to her as she started for her home at the lagoon. If she hurried she could get back before dark!
"Goodbye Nutter Butter. I'll be back as soon as I can! If you ever really want to, I live in a cave by where the red vine flowers grow by the lagoon. It is near the edge of where the forest, Grassy Plains, and the Lagoon meet. Closer to the forest though."
