Amenthes rolls her eyes as she yawns a little "Maybe later...I'll let you.." she was so tired, she wasn't thinking straight. So she was just saying whatever was coming to her mind in that moment.
Shaking her head, she actually scoots closer to him. Laying her head on his shoulder, she relax. This was the only reason she was allowing herself to get close to him.
Yup, she just had to keep telling herself that.
"You know...your essay...while it has a good point. Isn't very accurate" she only knew that because of how different she and her ex-boyfriend were "I know first hand....that completely opposites don't work. Hence the reason I am lacking in the love department." she frowns as she goes quiet for a moment.
"We were different....too different..." she sighs before sitting up, and crossing her arms.
She made herself grumpy just from talking about her ex.

"Damn, is everybody breaking up around this time of year?" Leucite chuckled darkly, letting her snuggle into him as he allowed his arm to once again wrap lightly around her body and allowed his hand to rest on her hip. "I'm currently single again too... Things kind of fell apart with the girlfriend."
"But yeah, I know what you mean with the differences thing. She and I kinda just... drifted apart."
It didn't help that he'd been thinking about Amenthes a lot as well... She'd gotten pretty well under his skin.
As she sat up a bit, he moved with her, and finally just mentally said screw it and turned, kissing her again as he tried to distract her from being upset.

Amenthes would have said something, had Leucite not stopped her in her tracks with the kiss. Hands slipping up to rest on his neck, she didn't know why her body moved, but it did. She was now facing him, straddling his lap as she deepens the kiss. She knew it was a bad thing, but she didn't care. She was just enjoying the moment.
Where she was wanted...

Leucite's arms moved well of their own accord, one moving to wrap fingers into her hair the other moving down her back as he held the kiss with her for as long as he was able, before finally pulling back and biting her bottom lip and tugging on it. He could feel his body reacting to her closeness, and he knew that if things kept going this way...
Well maybe he'd be able to sort out one of his problems.
His eyes locked with hers for a moment, before he moved his lips down to bite at her neck, sucking at her skin as he did so.
If she didn't stop him now, there would be no stopping hm.

Amenthes eyes drifted close as a small gasp slips from her lips. Her hands moving down to rest on his chest before she finally leans close to brush her lips against his ear "We can't....you have to stop..." she was scared to honestly allow this to continue. Pushing herself away from him as quickly as she could, she felt heat burning her whole body as she push her hand through her hair.
"This was a mistake...I'm sorry..." she turns as if she was going to get up and leave.

"Amenthes, stop..." Leucite said, moving as she did, his hand grabbing her wrist. His grip wasn't tight, he wasn't trying to trap her, just make her stay for a moment.
He slowly pulls her back to him, looking her in the eyes he gives her a wry, devil-may-care grin.
"If you're worried about me... Don't worry about it. I can handle myself." He cups her cheek then.
"But if.. we're going too fast... Then let me know and we can just finish our movie and I give you my word on my honor as a Officer of the Negaverse that you will get through it unmolested... Unless you want me to."

Amenthes looks up at him, then nods as she leans in to brush a small kiss to his lips. Pulling back, she gives him a small smile "Thank you....I ******** I'm attracted to you...no lie..." she pauses before she looks down "I...its just...I'm in no shape ready to give myself to anymore.....not in this form....or my other form..." she felt bad, but she had to tell him the truth.
"And I don't want to lead you....thinking there is a chance I could jump...when I am not sure about that." she closes her eyes as she sighs "Maybe...we can just be...I don't know..." she didn't have a damn clue as to what they could call this.
It was just....a risk.....
That they were both taking.

"We're negotiating," Leucite said simply, as if it was the most common thing int he world. "We're putting offers on the table and seeing who is going to bite first. I'm offering you a position by my side in the Negaverse, with all the privileges and responsibilities therein. You're offering me a place by your side as one of your own, with all that entails. Neither of us are ready to commit to the others plan - we both need time to think it over."
"We don't have to name this... relationship... if we don't want to. We're both grown adults with responsibilities to our respective jobs - but we both understand that we have an underlying attraction to each other and, it's something that we need to sort out."
He squeezed her hand, then patted next to him. "Just relax, you're not leading me on - I know you're not ready to join me yet." He smiles at her softly.
"As much as I want to jump you - I can't do it unless you really want to."
Oh he could - he so very could... He could feel the dark impulses string in the back of his mind - but he could ignore them.

Amenthes nods slowly as she returns the hand squeeze, sitting down next to him once more. Looking towards the movie, she licks her bottom lip before closing her eyes. This would be so much easier if they were on the same side. She would be able to tell him who she was, but she knew that it was a dangerous thing at this point.
Pulling her hand from his, she glances over before she smirks "Maybe...if we were on the same side." she said nothing more to his statement. Her eyes focusing on the movie now.
Wait, did she miss the part where Mulan was singing?
Sighing, she decide she was really going to watch now.

Leucite heard her sigh, and he'd declined to take the bait at her comment. He wasn't about to change sides - she'd yet to prove to him the moral superiority of her own. He'd made his stance very clear. But he had to give her props for trying. She had tenacity and he liked that.
Leaning forward, he restarted the movie and chuckled softly. "There, now we won't miss any..." He leaned back, again.
He liked the movie, so he wasn't going to miss out just cause they'd gotten handy with each other.

Amenthes gives him a small smile, but doesn't actually look at him. Crossing her arms again, she sits up straight so she doesn't fall asleep on him. A small chuckle comes from her as Mulan tries to explain why she was late to her mother. She couldn't help but mouth the words.
Yes, she knew this movie word for word.
That was how much she like it.

Leucite stifled a chuckle as he watched her. Yeah, he'd probably spend most of the movie watching Amenthes instead of the actual film, but that was okay - he'd only seen it like, half-a-billion times so he pretty much knew it by heart.
He just had a really shitty memory and could never retain the lines.
His hand moved to her back to gently rub up and down. He'd behave, but he did want her to remember he was there.

Amenthes tensed only for a brief moment when she felt his hand on her back. Glancing over at him, she chuckles before she wrinkles her nose up at him "Sorry, I just really love this movie?" she looks away again before she leans back to relax "So if this were to ever happen again.....and that a big IF....I say we need to like have pillows or something." she pauses, realizing that could mistaken for something else "You know, for comfort. My back isn't taking to well to the brick wall."
She would lean back against him, but that got her into trouble last time.

Leucite chuckled softly. "You have nothing to apologize for, I like this movie too. And, I would very much like to do this again." He said quietly. "You can lean against me if you'd like... I already promised I'd be good so you don't have to worry about me molesting you."
He really wouldn't. He wasn't an animal he had self-control. He knew no meant no and if she wasn't ready well...
He could control his baser urges.
Even if it was really, really hard.

Amenthes glance at him, chewing on her lip as she debates. After a moment, she moves closer to him so she can rest her body against his own. Her eyes focused on the movie, as she didn't dare look up at him again. She could feel her cheeks burning, but she did her best to ignore it.
Tugging at her lacy gloves, she yawns again before shaking her head "Okay, note to self...Get a nap in before going out on patrols." having just started powering up again, she realized now that she wasn't use to this anymore.
