I have to admitt, I always watch the first 10 min or so(up until the 1st commercial break) to see what storylines will be featured and I often turn off GH if I see that there's no Sonny or Jason or Carly. I like the characters and I generally like the storylines(Carly's Father has proved far less explosive and intresting than I would have figured).

The other storylines are....lacking, IMHO. I mean, I really couldn't care less about Brook's singing career. You know at the end of all this the actress will put out an album under a label ABC owns and then they'll promote it all over TV and try and sell copies to viewers. Now, you're probably thinking(if you watched GH back then) well isn't that what they did with Wally Kurth/Eddie Main? Yes, but Wally doesn't exactly sing pop music. I feel this whole pop/idol/music nonsense is really just a way to capitolize on the youth viewers and bring them in. Maybe it will work, maybe it won't, but as a long time viewer of GH I don't want to sit through it xp

Thank God Mary is finally dead...I can't wait to see that whole storyline burried. It had it's moments, but for the most part all it did was irritate me. Every time Mary opened her mouth I wanted mute the television blaugh

I'm also not very into the whole "who will get Lila's money" thing. sweatdrop

The biggest difference I see between Amber Tamblyn and Natalia Livingston is their on stage energy. Amber is very upbeat and just has this natural radiance about her, even when she's not on GH(I love Joan of Arcadia =-). Natalia, while not a bad actress, always looks as if she's going to wilt. Now, that worked fine while Emily was dying of cancer, but there never seems to be any joy in Em these days sad

I love the idea of Tracy and Helena teaming up!! Who woulda thunk it?! biggrin I still cannot get used to the new Edward though. Nothing personally against the actor. I loved him on Santa Barbara and Port Charles, but as Edward he is just too young.

Anyone have an opinion on Steven Webber? I can't decide quite yet wether I like him or not, but he certainally has more depth than Durant ^.^

Despite everything, I could see he and Carly being friends one day. biggrin

Although today was kinda sweet between Carly and Sonny....(kind of renewing their vows between each other).....but it's hard to let go of all the stuff Sonny has made Carly go through, and try to make it like she's the blame for a lot of it.... stressed But, Sonny's not a bad person, and I do think they love each other.....but there is just something between Carly and Lorenzo...they seem to connect eek ....and it's always fun having "bad guy turns good (or kinda good) over falling in love with girl" stories.... wink

Let's see Christina needs a bone marrow transplant and the powers-that-be are saying to expect a "twist" in that storylline. I'll bet the big twist is that this Diego "kid" is really Sonny's son and his marrow will be a match and save Christina when Sonny's isn't. That's just how bone marrow works and GH too. I just hope he's not Sonny's son with Lilly. We saw her blow to pieces years ago while preganant with Sonny's child and the whole Hooker Double storyline with Alcazar just further proved that she is dead.

I think maybe Helena has something to do with "Conner" and his sudden appearance from the dead. Maybe that book she was burning had real spells?

I am hoping that Jason realizes he really loves Sam and they get through their grief together. Maybe one day they could even have a child together. I am just a big old softy. Happily ever after never happens on soaps cause no one would want to watch!

I agree on both counts. Slap Alexis and send Dull Durant back to New York!!! And if Ingo Rademacher is leaving the show again, what will Courtney do since she finally gave in to her feelings and made love with Jax? It seems that Jason just might have his hands full with Sam, Liz, and Courtney? vying for his affections.
