Hiroki "Turq" Allans Turq blushed when he was called cute, and looked down. That wasn't expected. "And, you're handsome." Turq watched as Julius made tea and picked his cup up when it was set in front of him. "Thank you for the tea and toast." Sipping his tea, he looned around again until he heard Julius' offer. It surprised him and he ended up choking on his tea. "I....I can? Do you mean it? Thank you! I'd be happy to stay here with you! I promise to behave."

"Your welcome" Julius replied when Turq thanked him for the tea and toast. "And of course I mean it. I don't often like company, there are not many people in this world that I like. But you are polite, quiet, and clearly in need. I am more than happy to have you stay here whilst we figure out where you belong." If he bothered to find out. He didn't say that out loud of course but he certainly thought it. "And to answer your earlier question, no, I didn't grow up in a warehouse thank goodness. But not much better than. I was raised in care. I never got adopted or long-term fostered so was just sent from pillar to post reguarly, dreadful homes that just wanted the money they got for looking after me."

Hiroki "Turq" Allans So, Julius didn't like company, but he liked having Turq around. That made him feel special, something he didn't feel often. "I don't mind belonging here." Turq wouls like to know his name, though. Julius said "Turq" was probably a nickname, but he had never been called any other name. Hearing about what Julius meant earlier, Turq frowned and poked his fingers together again. That was awful. A lot worse than how things were at the warehouse. At least he hadn't been tossed around. "Well....We can be family, right?"Puppy Peter Morning! Or, afternoon. Or, evening. Whichever it is for you. ^^

CLCyrus Hi! It's later afternoon here - nearly 5.30. I slept most of the day! Julius smiled, which to be honest was something that didn't happen too often. Turq was obviously starved for attention to accept staying here so readily, to want to be family with Julius so swiftly. Just a little kindness and the boy was already bonding with him. Which suited Julius just fine. He rarely liked someone but he liked Turq and he had no intention of letting him go anywhere! "Yes, we can be family. It would be nice to have someone who belongs with me" he replied. "You can be my assistant if you wish, help me with my work. We'll have a lot of fun toghether. We will have to find you some clothes, too. Are you tired? Would you like to get some sleep and then later we can have dinner together and talk."

Hiroki "Turq" Allans Was Turq rushing into things too quickly? He knew he probably was. But, he had nowhere to go and Julius didn't seem to mind him at all. Plus, he liked Julius. He was nice and admittedly cute. "Assistant? You mean for your machines? Or, books? I don't mind. I think it'll be fun~!" Sleep. That sounded nice. He was tired. But, he didn't want to sleep yet. He wanted to get to know Julius more. But, there would be time for that later, right? "Okay. I would like some rest. If that's alright. Where...do I sleep?"Puppy Peter At least you can sleep. I didn't get any sleep last night. @_@

CLCyrus Insomia? Bummer! I don't have much choice, they gave me sleeping pills! Julius smiled and nodded. "Yes, my assistant. With both the machines and the books. I'll teach you, train you to be my assistant." He put the empty plates and mugs into the dishwasher and switched it on. "You may have the guest room or you can share with me, up to you. It's not a come-on, don't worry, I just thought you may not like being alone."

Hiroki "Turq" Allans Turq tilted his head. Train him? He looked down. He didn't like that word. All the training at the warehouse ususally ended up with physical punishment because he couldn't comply properly. But, it wouldn't be the same here. Right? Julius didn't seem like the chairman at all. "I don't mind the guest room. W-Will you stay until I'm asleep, though?" It was easier to fall asleep when he wasn't alone. It was such a baby-ish thing, but it was true.

CLCyrus I stayed awake all night online and wasn't sleepy at all, they insisted I need sleep! LOL! Had he said something wrong, Julius wondered for a moment. He had thought he saw worry or something like that briefly cross the youth's face. "Of course I'll stay with you. It's hard to sleep in a strange place. Then I'll just be in the next room. I was about to go to have some toast then go to bed when I saw you in the lane. I was up writing most of the night then working on one of my inventions. I need to get some sleep. Then when I wake I'll start on dinner. This way. He showed him along the hall and up the stairs. The house was very old fashioned - Victorian and Edwardian decor and furnishings everywhere. He showed him to the guest bedroom, next door to his own room. It was a lovely room. Again, very old fashioned. There was a four-poster bed with dark crimson bedding. Julius sat in a large comfy chair near the fireplace. "I'll be right here until you sleep." he told him.

Hiroki "Turq" Allans So, if he had been abandoned any later, Julius wouldn't have found him. That was scary to think about. How things could be so much different right now if the timing was different. He felt bad Julius had to throw away the toast from before, though. He quickly finished his tea and toast before going with the other to the room. Julius' house was very pretty. If he remembered correctly, the fashion was...Victorian? He wasn't sure. The chairman taught him things from time to time. Walking into the bedroom, Turq looked at it and smiled. It was such a cozy-looking room and it had a comfy-looking bed. Crawling under the covers, he looked at Julius sitting in the chair and smiled at him. "Thank you. Again. You're really nice." He covered his face with the blanket, blushing a bit. Turq wasn't used to people, so complimenting others was weird to him. But, he liked it, and he liked Julius.Puppy Peter Ah. Yeah. Chris is like that with me sometimes. Makes me go to sleep. Feel free to skip ahead a bit if you'd like.

CLCyrus I'm moving into sheltered accommodation for an independent living trial soon though so I'll be free to do whatever I like whenever like pretty much! smile "Don't mention it. Sweet dreams" Julius replied. So, Turq thought he was handsome and thought he was nice, huh? He wasn't used to compliments, it pleased him. He waited until the other was sleeping soundly and then he went to take nap himself before starting on dinner. Whilst dinner was cooking, Julius decided to do a little research Online to see if he could turn up anything about this 'warehouse' Turq had spoken of. He couldn't find out anything at all which was frustrating. He searched the missings persons files to see if anyone matching Turq's age and description turned up but again found nothing. But at least if nothing else it gave him an excuse to keep him there. He could hardly leave him to wander around alone with nowhere to go and no one to turn to. So that's just what he did. He rearranged life to accommodate Turq being there. He ordered him a new wardrobe of clothes online, also everything else he thought he might need - toiletries etc. He wondered about education - he could school him if necessary, he would have to inquire tactfully of him what education he had received. He could easily use his assistance in the lab and teach him to do research for him, too. Gardening, that would be something else they could do together, Julius was proud of his country cottage garden and also grew a lot of his own food.

Hiroki "Turq" Allans Turq slept well. Very well. The bed was beyond comfortable and he felt safe in Julius' house. Still, that didn't mean he went without a nightmare. It wasn't immediate. His dream was great, but it took a bad turn. Like it usually did. So, he woke up as soon as he could. He hated the nightmares. He was sure it was the memory of when he was taken from his family, but he didn't know. Hell, he didn't even know if he had a family. Turq could have been born in the warehouse. Getting out of bed, Turq hugged himself a bit before going to the door and heading back downstairs. He didn't know if Julius was asleep or not, so he would wait for him. But, from the smell of things, it seemed he was awake. "Julius...?" He wasn't in the kitchen, though. Was he in his lab or something? Turq would need to learn the layout of the house if he wanted to find the other at all.Puppy Peter That's cool. I think....I actually don't know what that is.

CLCyrus It's to see if I can cope okay living on my own, I'm very excited about it. Julius heard Turq calling. He closed his browser, got up from his desk and put his head out of the study door. "I'm here, Turq!" he called to him. It was the room next to the living room which was two doors down from the kitchen. "You'll have to explore so you can learn your way around" he told him with a smile. "I did a beef stew for dinner, I hope that's okay for you. You'll be getting some parcels delivered tomorrow - clothes and such. I ordered them express delivery."

Hiroki "Turq" Allans Turq jumped when Julius spoke. It was going to be a constant thing, wasn't it? He was so jumpy and Julius was so sneaky! "Explore? Okay~. I can do that later then." Beef stew? That sounded great. Hopefully the drug was worn off so he could hold it down. "You...bought stuff for me? Thank you....I don't have any way to pay you back, though."Puppy Peter Oh! Well, good luck. I hope you pass.

Julius laughed softly. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you" he said. He headed back to the kitchen to dish up their meal. "Beef stew with bead and butter" he said, setting the bowls and the bread basket on the table. He took his seat. "You don't have to pay me back. We're family now, right? If it makes you happier you can consider it as wages for helping me out around the place. It will be useful to have a second pair of hands for the gardening and all the chores there are around the place. Now, whilst we eat you can tell me all about yourself. Everything you know."
