She spoke the perfect words to lure him in and soothe his worries, because she knew exactly what to say to him. Outdated information, sure. They'd disproved everything. Nothing was as it seemed. Nothing would ever be out of their reach. He accepted these truths without complaint, when they fell from her lips. They were nothing but that. Truths.

She cut his restraints, one by one, and by her urging he pounced, pinning her to the ground where they sat. She was never afraid of the animal he became; she sought it, and pulled it forth from him purposefully, because she loved every part of him. Even the parts that weren't so nice.

And he loved every part of her, too. Every part of her was everything he wanted, and at her command, he took it. There would be time for thinking too much later. Now was the time to stop thinking at all, and he succeeded and flourished at doing just that.
