xxx Chamber has lost a lot, leaving him pessimistic towards life and afraid of commitment, yet very eager for acceptance and love. He keeps himself strong and smiling around his children, but once they're gone he slouches and bears a sad smile across his lips. He's constantly reminiscing back to when things were right, so dissatisfied with his own life that he'll either turn to a bottle for comfort or bury himself into his bed for days. He truly doesn't trust others, honestly believing they'll abandon him at any second without rhyme or reason. Or, perhaps they have a reason, he isn't sure.
xxx The half-spartan has a nasty punch, but luckily for you he often won't rely on his strength. He's a talker, whether or not he likes to admit it. He often likes to say he's a coward for always using his words, but the male rarely will respond to violence physically. He's generally a sweet and gentle soul, however he will lunge forth to protect his children.
xxx He is talented at magic, but you won't catch him casting spells anytime soon. As a child he once casted a spell that backfired and cursed him with the ability to feel others emotions should they touch him. This is fairly overwhelming, especially when he himself is such a bundle of hurt and depression. He tends to avoid touching, even with family. While he would love to hug someone, he despises the idea of invading another's privacy by experiencing their own emotions.
xxx Sadly, Chamber hates himself. He finds that he's pathetic and ruins the lives of those around him. People leave, and they must do so for a reason. Sometimes, he wishes to just go. Find somewhere quiet and dark and just lay there until everything has passed and time is still. He's a mess, and yet he's so desperate for someone to reach out and hold him as he weeps. Instead, he pushes everyone away, violently. Hate spills from his mouth to ensure he isn't hurt again, or he doesn't hurt them. He hides behind the bottle and a locked door in hopes that maybe he'll finally be forgotten. Maybe the only thing he was meant to do was help birth beautiful children and then vanish. Maybe he was made to just create and then become obsolete. He isn't sure anymore.
xxx There is still a remainder of his old joyous side. While often he doesn't tend to express himself much anymore, he has taken to relying on a certain A.I named Technologic. Perhaps it is because the male is an A.I and therefor is immune to Chamber's curse, or maybe it's the A.I's unassuming smile that causes him to perk up. Either way, no one can argue that the A.I does him well when he's around.
xxx Chamber was born with the right parents, the perfect family, and happiness enveloping him. He didn't ask for much, but he did cause a fair amount of trouble once he discovered magic. Often an accident would happen as he toyed with minor spells, and his parents would constantly need to clean up his mistakes. However, this quickly stopped when Chamber played with the wrong spell and cursed himself to feel others emotions upon touch. At a young age Chamber displayed the inability to be touched without intense repercussions, and soon he began flinching when others came too close. Still, he was relatively happy and grew into a fine young man.
xxx He quickly married a childhood friend, Maikoa. Like seemed perfect, even if his wife was mute and often was afraid to be around strangers. Their love was innocent, young, and sweet, quickly resulting in a little of five. Shocked by the amount of eager paws, Chamber accepted fatherhood despite his young age and set down to properly raise his little hoard.
xxx Life had other ideas for him, though, and suddenly Maikoa vanished, taking a son with her. Chamber was left abruptly, breaking within days as he realized that she was gone. No sign of her or his son was left behind, and Chamber neglected his young children in favor of sobbing in his room for months. He turned to alcohol, and while he tried to be present for his children it was inarguable that he hadn't been.
xxx As time passed he became aware of his poor parenting, hastily turning to the bottle again and again to try and forget the memories of neglect. He was a failure in his eyes. The man stopped visiting friends and family and holed himself up until his eldest daughter arrived at his door. More despair was introduced into his life as Banshee crumbled into his arms, sobbing about the death of her lover and childhood best friend. The two fed off one another's despair, living in the same house and abusing themselves with memories of their lost ones and blaming themselves.
xxx It seemed he was lost, until he met a woman named Toksick. Drunken on their first meeting, he was pulled into a rave and rapidly thrown into a world of emotions that broke through his numbing state. Overwhelmed by the love Toksick seemed to bear for him without question, he didn't think twice before accepting everything she had to offer, including a daughter she had with another man. They married shortly after, and while Banshee grew bitter over her father "replacing" her mother, Chamber was happy. Chamber and Toksick birthed two children and Chamber worked hard to give his newest children the best childhood he could. Banshee grew jealous and left home, later finding a new mate of her own. Everything was falling into place, again, and Chamber was lulled into a false sense of security.
xxx Toksick and Chamber ended breaking up, and Chamber truly doesn't know what caused the destruction of their marriage. Had he screwed up? Was he not enough? Why hadn't he felt her unhappiness? He ran back to the bottle, hiding within the house that homed only him. Occasionally he'd leave the house, but usually the male drowned himself in sweet liquid and numbed himself once more to the world. He was useless in his eyes, and was more then content with the idea of just withering away.
xxx On a rare night out, Chamber found himself drunk on a bench. He didn't expect to be approached by an A.I named Technologic, nor did he predict the A.I would escort him home. Despite Chamber's desperate want not to ever feel again, he's rapidly being drawn to the A.I who offers nothing but comfort and warmth. Plus, Technologic can be touched without Chamber being bombarded by emotions not his own. He's incredibly reluctant to think twice about his comfort around Tech, but it's obvious that something deep inside is healing.
