This was a little surreal. This guy could have been a human kid the way he talked.
"Uh...Yeah." Cautiously and against Syn's advice, Dawson lowered his shield. "Yeah, we do. I didn' get t'finish 'fore I got this job, but...yeah. S'closest thing we got to superheroes."
He should not have been talking. He should have finished it off or ported back, damn it.
"Why'd ya call me a villain again?"

Closest thing to superheroes? No way, they were too evil to be heroes.
"It's what you are. You come to this house and you attack us. I found a ghoul with pink hair once, and she beat me up. And when I asked her why she said it's what you guys were supposed to do and left. If that's not a villain I don't know what is." He put his fists on his hips and puffed out his chest. "So it's my job as a hero to stop you!"

"Yeah?" He didn't sound confrontational anymore; he was glad for once nobody was assigned a patrol with him. "'Cause I been told yer the villains here," Dawson explained slowly. "All a'Halloween preyin' on people who don' know no better. Makin' their lives awful."
