He nods as she chatters about and replies to her whenever he needs to. "It is good that you won't mind your father or I calling you little Ruby even if you are older or bigger." He notice her walking towards him and sitting besides him and rubbing against him. That made him blink quietly but he did not moved. He felt her closeness and he was fine with it. He gently pets her head. "It would be my pleasure to have the honor to be considered as a second father to you. I could be a less worry some father and a bit care free. I would visit you as much as I can."
Notices Miller walking towards them and he slowly stands up looking straight at this other male in front of him. He notices the interaction between father and daughter and he feels a craving for having what those two share and have with one another. He has never considered himself to be the fatherly type but now seeing these two he wonders how he could be as a father. He hears Miller inviting him to live closer by and he thinks about the possibility of such invitation. "I would try to be the best companion and friend you both have. I would like to live closer by but I would like to live in something else that is not a hollowed out tree. Is there any other places around here that might be good to make a home?"

She smiles at that because he called her little Ruby again and for the here and now she's just thrilled with her nickname and all the attention from both of them. That and he actually pet her head like her Father normally does making her feel comfortable and more like family then she could ever imagine. "And it's my honor that it's your pleasure to have the honor to be my second Father. I mean one was really nice, and two shall be perfect. A less worry some Father sounds really good to me and I want you to visit me as much as you can. I'm sure there are plenty of games we can play or things you can teach me that Father one hasn't." When he stands she moves back a bit while he talks to Miller and then she crouches down and leaps onto Plato's back for the comfort of being close to him as well as being able to curl up and possibly start falling back asleep since Father one had woken her to introduce her to Plato, or Father two as he is now known as.
He notices Plato noticing something though he can't place what it is since he's too thrilled that there will be another one that shall be living close by to talk to and to help him care for little Ruby. Seeing as the instant she meet Candie she asked her about being her Mother since she knows how much the two of them love each other and if Miller is her Father then Candie might as well be her Mother. So it makes Miller wonder what Candie will think about all of this, about Plato being a second Father to little Ruby as well as Plato moving near by. Clearing his throat, "Other places, well there are always burrows, caves, or maybe a a thorn-less bush can be hollowed out to make a nice place to live. Though I'm not the best about knowing about places to live, so what sort of place would you like to live in? Maybe if I know what you like I can try thinking if there is anything like that close enough by?" Having seen her leap onto Plato's back he blushes, "You don't mind that she enjoys napping and or sleeping on your back? She often does so with me so I'm used to it, though, you being made her second Father today I would understand if you need some time to get used to her and I could take her in and tuck her in if you''d rather I did that." Titling his head he looks at little Ruby seeming perfectly content on her spot on Plato's back. All while trying to keep her eyes open in case Plato wants to talk to her more. It's just too cute so he smiles brightly at her and at how quickly she took to Plato as well.

He looks at her warmly paying attention to every word she would say to him. She finds her amusing, sweet, and very kind. Pets her again as she chats with him like if she knew him all her life. "I will try my best to be a good second father to you. To help you learn lots of things, and to take good care of you as Miller will do as well." Rubs her head gently and looks at Miller slightly nodding his head as a form of promise to them both, that he will do right by them both. Then he feels her weight on his back and notices then that she has jumped on top of him. He doesn't move and decides to let her get comfortable on him. Notices she slowly starts to breath heavy like if she was falling asleep on his back.
He concentrates now on Miller slightly moving his head to the side as he watches him in wonder. "I like caves, its the perfect place for a single male like me. I don't like fussing over thing that are not necessary and plus a cave helps me stay safe from any others out there or from any sort of harm." Tries not to move to not wake Ruby up, she feels warm against his back. "Don't worry, I don't mind having her on my back napping. She is very sweet and she seems loving and caring. You must be very happy having her in your life." He walks closer to Miller turning around so he can take Ruby easier off his back. Then turns to him, "I don't mind having her on me but I do think she will sleep better and more peacefully on her bedding, so you should take her in and tuck her in and make her be comfortable." He stands there waiting while looking at Miller walk away with Ruby.

Walking into the three he quickly walks over to the bedding then places her down and tucks her in. After making sure she is more than comfortable he turns and walks back out to Plato to reply, "We both know you'll be a good second Father, and that's the first time she ever fell asleep on someone else's back other than mine that is. So little Ruby trusts you a whole lot which means I can trust you a whole lot as well. And now to help you with that home, I know a few caves here and there so I can take you to all of them and let you pick which one you like best seeing as I'm not good with picking homes for others." While thinking of the caves he knows of he wonders which ones he should show him first, the ones closet by then end at the ones a bit further away? Or show him the ones a bit further away and then the ones closet by? Either way, all of them are much closer than his old home so no matter which cave he chooses, he'll be close enough for all of them to hangout everyday if they want to.

He walks around in circles as he awaits to Miller to come back out from his home. Seeing him walking away with Ruby made him feel a warm sensation inside him. As we walks around he wonders what sensation is that which he is feeling for this other male and his smaller companion. He then notices Miller walking back out, he stops circling around and tilts his head to listen to what the other is saying. "Thank you for thinking I can be a good second father to her, I will do my best. Though you both will have to be somewhat patient with me. I have never been around someone as small as her and I don't really know what a father is suppose to do." He sits and looks about wondering where he will find his new home. "Miller thank you for wanting to help me finding a new home, since I don't know much of the area I would let you show me whatever place you would like. But I think I would like to see the cave or caves that are closer to this place so that I'm not so far away from you both."

With a bit of a shrug, "I'm not too sure how to be a Father either other then when they are hurt to tend to their wounds, when they are ill tend to them to make them better, and when they are emotional. Well, there are a lot of different ways to tend to them or to just leave them alone. So with that last one I guess with trial and error we'll know how to approach an emotional other, young or other wise. Also, the normal things were you listen to them, though, not just listen, to actually hear what they are saying works. Then there is staying calm even when they do something they shouldn't have because I'm not sure how well yelling help with anything. I'd also stay clear from joking around because not everyone likes jokes, or jokes that seem like actual threats." Looking back at the tree he wonders then looks back at Plato, "Also, I wonder what time Candie will get here because I don't feel comfortable leaving little Ruby here without anyone to watch her. Unless I take her with to help you with your home hunting which we'll start at the ones that are the closest to little Ruby's and my home and go from there. And you are very welcome, I'm just glad I can be of help to you, it'll be nice to have you around. With little Ruby, Candie, and now you, we'll be like a small family."

He listened quietly at what Miller was saying. He was taking everything into consideration. Wondering how smart the other sounded. He wondered if he was as smart or if he even agreed with everything that was being said there and then. "I suppose you know more since you have been with Ruby longer. I will have to go slowly and learn things step by step. I wouldn't want to do something or say something wrong." he gets up feeling rather anxious for some reason. Walking towards the tree where she is inside sleeping he looks inside noticing her there peacefully sleeping. Then walking back he looks at Miller once again. "Who is the Candie you have mentioned a few times now. Oh and I understand you don't want to leave Ruby alone so there is no hurry in looking for a home for me. For tonight I can just stay out here somewhere close by and sleep on the ground."

Seeing Plato listen so well causes him to smile brightly, "I just think of ways I wouldn't want to be treated, so if I don't like being treated a certain way then the little ones don't want to be treated like that either. Though, I have learned a good amount of things while watching and taking care of little Ruby. I also learn the best ways to teach her so I can teach he things that she needs to know, while knowing that she's going to understand and learn whatever it is I am teaching her. So if you need help with anything we can both teach you together, it'll help us to learn more about you, and for you to learn more about us. Which means if you do or say something wrong you'll learn from it because I'm sure that you would never purposefully do or say anything wrong." Blushing brightly, "Oh, Candie is someone very and very special to me so it's no wonder that I've mentioned her a few times. And thank you, you already seem to be a good second Father to her." Nodding his head a bit, "There are some comfortable places around here you can stay at for the night."

He looks at this other competent male and wonders why he becomes flushed when speaking about this someone call Candie. He also realizes that Miller loves little Ruby by the way he speaks about his role as a father. He wishes he too could have someone special in his life and to have his own baby someone day. But for now he will be content with being a second father to little Ruby and a friend to Miller. "I will try my very best to not let you both down and to be the best second father I can be. I will learn to treat her like she would like to be treated and to understand her and respect her. I will also try to be a good friend to you and work with you to give your little Ruby everything she needs and wants." Looking once again to the entrance of the tree he smiles some. "It's getting late maybe is best if I let you get back to her and I start finding a place to spend the night."

Still blushing brightly he replies, "Alright, and we stall try our best to help you to be the best second Father that you can be because we have that much time to spend on helping you while teach little Ruby. So we'll all take the time to learn how each other likes to be treated, how to understand each other, and how to respect each other as well." Nodding his head a bit, "I'll be glad for more help and she'll be glad to have you around just as long as you don't go crazy with the giving her everything that she wants, at least treat/snack wise that is. Since she sometimes takes a bit much and then she'll lay around for the rest of they day whimpering. Which has only happened a small amount of times, so if that does happen I know just what to do so in case in does happen while your taking care of her you don't have to worry too much. All she normally needs is a lot of rest and some mint to help her feel better. Other than that as long as she needs whatever she is asking for I don't see a problem in her getting what ever she asks for."

He laid down on the ground resting his chin on his paws listening intently to Miller. His body felt tired but not his head so he was registering everything he was hearing about. He would nod at times to let his companion know he was listening. "I will try to learn as fast all I can learn from you and from Ruby. I will do my best to not let her have her way all the time specially with treats and such. I will care for her and be there for her whenever she might need me." His eyes slowly started closing feeling himself sleepy all of a sudden. Shaking his head slightly to the sides he slowly stands up. "I think it's time for me to go and find a place to sleep and rest up. I will be back tomorrow after resting a while." He turns around and and looks to all directions wondering where to go to find a place to pass the night.

Smiling he lays down as well, "You can learn at any rate you want to, seeing as I trust you and so does little Ruby or she never would have been so willing to meet you. And it'll be interesting to learn from you since as you can see we don't get very many visitors so it's nice when we do have someone visit us." Giving a bit of a bow, "Thank you so very much, it's good to know that we'll be helping each other to raise her properly. Seeing as I only get and or make treats if it's a special day or if she's hurt and I want to make her feel better. Also, she's rather clever so I can imagine her testing us when it comes to treats and what she wants. Then again, I can see her having days when she really isn't in a good mood and wants what she wants." With a nod of his head, "You will be great with taking care of her and when she needs you she knows you'll be there like I am. Since she thinks of you as another Father she will quickly go to you when I'm not close enough and or around to help her." He carefully watches as it seems Plato is falling asleep. Once he shakes his head then gets up Miller leaps up startled, "Alright, and I guess it's time for me to go in because I don't have much to do out here if you are leaving. I wish you luck with finding someplace to sleep and rest up. And we can't wait till you come back tomorrow. Also, best bet is to either go straight ahead and or to the left since to the right is the flower field." Turning he walks into the tree to make sure little Ruby isn't having any nightmares.
