Nictor Sabbat
Now, being told that Reemus has an idea was all well and good, but being asked to trust another troll put Nictor on edge. And being picked up nearly caused a fit, arms flying every which way and making clicks and hums that would have roughly translated to what are you doing, stop, and general screeching.
Nictor nearly decided to shove at the older troll as he was brought to his shoulders, but so far Reemus had been nice. And what was he gonna do here that would hurt him? Well, Reemus could bite him, that'd suck. Trust, trust, how in the world could he trust another troll? Caught in his internal dilemma, Nictor became more still and limp as Reemus brought Nictor round to his shoulders, where the kid immediately took a gently hold of Reemus's hair.
By the time Nictor realized what had happened, he was leaning forward just enough so that he wouldn't unbalance and topple backwards. Thank goodness he'd had plenty of practice riding Beehemoth, but some of his shakes seemed to have come back, unsettled by being moved around not of his own volition.
For a few minutes, Nictor couldn't fathom why he was riding on the teen's shoulders though. what in the world had brought this on? Did the older yelloblood want to get more pollen on himself? Nictor really couldn't help that!
Looking up, it finally struck Nictor why he was perched on the other troll.
"O-oh!" Nictor could see out across the heads of the crowd. He could see the main building, the docking area he'd come from all the way on the other side of the grounds, the presentation stage, the buffet, a group comparing weapons-
"Th-th-there!" Nictor blurted out, hand twitching towards the direction he was looking at automatically. That was... a fair trek across the grounds to get there, but at least now he was oriented. now how to get down without causing more problems?

Almost getting smacked by wayward flailing arms wasn't fun, but Reemus could deal. They were tiny! If anything, he would've worried about the fluffy buzzbeast getting mad and mutilating him.
But that didn't happen.
Even better, eventually Nictor seemed to catch on, latching onto Reemus and calming down some. He even started directing the older troll! Mission success.
Ignoring the growing feeling that his face was getting puffy, Reemus started marching out with the kid on his shoulders. Reemus's own hands held onto Nictor's legs so the kiddo had some definite support. Gillian followed along behind, idly panting.
"Mate, could ya hold onto my horns 'r somethin'? Those can't be tugged out..." And considering Nictor's track record, who know if he might spook at something and pull Reemus's hair right out.
"So where d'ya come from, kid? Crikey! I don' even know yer name! 'M Reemus." He was making chit-chat as they passed by gaggles of trolls, well on their way to Nictor's destination. Once they got there, Reemus would set the kid down, try to wash up, and get in line.
But first, making friends with the sad little kid!

Fortunately enough for Reemus, Beehemoth had already figured that he wasn't out to harm Bee's charge. Not to say he wasn't still keeping an eye on Reemus, but Bee had to defend his airspace above Nictor from other aerial lusii, and he did look when Nictor began having a fit, but found the teen giving Nictor a ride, which he didn't see too much harm in. Of course, as they started moving away, Bee was getting caught up having to dodge and shove his way around, the skies less choked than the parade grounds but not clear by any means.
Nictor jolted a bit, falling forward to rest more solidly on Reemus's head when the teen started moving unexpectedly. He didn't realize the older yellowblood planned on carrying him there! A part of him wanted to argue and get down and away, but honestly that would just be more hassle.
Hmm, maybe there's a different courtesy to riding on other trolls? Nictor hadn't pulled out any of Bee's fur in ages! Okay a few moths, but that was during a chase from some unhappy local fauna and there'd been some seriously sharp turns involved. Well, either way, it wasn't an unreasonable request. Taking a moment to redirect Reemus more on course, Nictor took a careful but firm hold of the teen's horns.
"O-oh, ah, Ch-chitten---town," Nictor responded, glancing nervously at a few trolls who nearly bumped into them, but was pleasantly surprised when they went around Reemus rather than jostling him. The introduction caused a momentary lapse of brain activity though. Reemus? That... that was a nice name for a nice troll. Nictor didn't think he'd ever had any other troll introduce themselves to him before. The novelty of this whole experience was amazing. "I-I'm Nictor. I--- uhm, w-w-well, thank y-you--- for this."

"Ah! I live there, too! Small world. Nice t' meet ya, Nictor! N' no problem. Not so scary now, eh?" he asked with a jovial grin. "Maybe we'll see each other around sometime, mate." The city was pretty big, but people could always meet again! Weird how that worked.
He continued following Nictor's lead, soon passing the last stretch until they hit the outer edges of where the kids were gathering. Here, Reemus really stood out like a sore thumb. No one would mistake him for anything younger than his actual age. "Awwww righty, here it is!" He lifted the kid again, carefully and slowly so Nictor would have time to loosen his grip. More pollen got in his face, but Reemus did his best to deal.
He had never been more uncomfortable in his life, especially now that he knew that sinuses were a thing, but he had to put Nictor down, not drop him. He eased the kid onto the ground, then despite his leaking eyes and puffy face, patted the kid on the head.
"I gotta get a check-up back at the tents. Have a good time at the kid thing goin' on here! Whatever it is."

Reemus was right, he really didn't seem as scary now. Nictor wasn't comfortable or relaxed, but he really didn't think Reemus would make any attempts on his life like he expected all the time. He was... really nice. And that was just weird. Okay weird though. It'd be nice to have someone like Reemus around on grocery day, nobody seemed to jostle him. Nictor wasn't sure that he wanted to be big and tall though, unless his coordination got better. Being big and tall and clumsy wouldn't end well for anyone.
Soon enough they reached the outskirts of the kid area. Luckily enough, Nictor was able to use the brief ride as a reprieve from the anxiety inducing crowd. Being set above and away from it helped, but now it was time to brave the crowd once more.
He tenses a bit when Reemus grabbed a hold of him, but released the teen's horns and kept still as he was lowered to the ground. Looking up at Reemus again, there was still an instant fear in reaction to his size, but it was tempered now. Nictor knew Reemus liked to help, and hadn't hurt him at all, and wasn't even upset over the pollen, even though it really affected him!
Nictor only flinched slghty at the head pat, staring at Reemus the whole time with a mixture of awe and bemusement. He was really different than what Nictor expected of trolls and had really given him a lot to think about when he got home.
"T-Thank you, Reemus," he said, offering a small smile to the teen. Nictor idled there for a moment, watching Reemus amble away, wondering at the amiable smile he's been given, before turning around to get fully out of the way of the older crowd so he didn't get swept away again.
Bee came down closer, humming out a question of if all went well and surprisingly enough, the answer was yes. With a deep breath, Nictor wiped his hands on his shorts and started off towards the buffet area.
