BEEP! A low sound emitted from his phone that informed him the Death hunter had successfully found the right place. Compared to Shu, Ace looked at the island he couldn't name, sea gulls hovered above the sea for possible fishes afar. The water near the beach was shallow and clear, with tiny fishes swimming and beautiful shells could be found. It was even hotter than on Bermuda, suggesting it might be a tropical island near the Equator.

He tried another portal, this time, the cold air kissed his exposed skin. The island was a boring one with massif and rocky short mountains. Near the shore, Ace found clues of burnt woods and buried fabric and large wooden pieces that washed onto the shore. There was nothing interesting, the hunter pushed away a wood piece with his foot and watched it brought away by the current.

It was an island but the atmosphere of it was not as peaceful and nice as the last one. The portal exit was set inside an empty shack, it was really nothing besides the rotten wooden walls, floor and roof. Ace had to be careful of the steps he made as the pieces were too fragile to endure great forces. Once his feet sank into the hole created upon stepping on and he nearly fell into it. Outside the shack was a large plain of forest, he could hear unknown beast roaring from afar and when winds blew, the trees sizzled in a spooky way.

It felt like he was in a horror film, however the excited step moved backward. He'd went into the woods for an thrilling adventure, but the tiny hunter was waiting to meet up with him. Thus he canceled his plan.

It was another island, Ace noticed the different vegetation around. Standing outside the shack, he could feel malicious stares from the deeper part of the forest. Could it possibly be one of the lairs of the horsemen? He thought then shortly overturned the idea and headed back.

It was unfortunately unsuccessful before Ace could no longer withstand the fear concentration of the Weeping forest and forced to head back to Deus headquarter. He sent Shu a message to inform her that. Ace was slightly surprised however eager the tiny woman seemed, she insisted on going back with him as a team.

Ace didn't know how difficult for her to make the decision to give up when she was at the entrance of it and unknown how many times they had to try it again if that portal vanished. He never know. He was a person that hardly cared anything, so giving something up like break-up with his girlfriend was nothing more than a pity.

Instead, she was the one who apologized for the multiple trips they needed to make. What's the logics? He couldn't understand so he gave her a small smile.
