NovaCracker That is okay, Camelot needs some dude babbies, too. "Well, you wouldn't see me walking around like this in the day time," Camelot laughed, shaking his head. He lifted a hand, double checking with the auras around him to make sure there were no chaos ones anywhere, then powered down.
Instead of a powerful royal knight, there was now a librarian with a limp. He offered an awkward shrug, aware of how decidedly less impressive he was now.
If he could claim to be impressive before.
"Anthony Darrow, owner and head library of the Destiny City Central Library." He chuckled, nodding his head in greeting. It was only fair, after all, as he had seen the young man power up, and thus had the advantage of being able to recognize him in and out of glamour. Plus, how would his new charge know where to find him if there was an emergency?

Lithiasaur All the babbies! This one's a bookworm. "Point taken." Stonehenge managed a thin, but friendly grin before Camelot - powered down. Could he do that? Possibly, perhaps, if... Will, like his books perhaps? Very carefully, so as to not disturb Hadaya, the page powered down slowly, and then grinned. So this was the owner of one of his favorite venues! "Alfred Abney. You know, I visit the liubrary often, but I don't recall seeing you. Perhaps my nose has been in books far too often there?" If he was the owner, a librarian commanded the small egotist's respect - dominantly as a keeper of books, and he could grant that.

Tony smiled when the Page managed to power down. He found it was always easiest to explain that process with example. It had been very confusing to him, after all, the first time he powered up. For a moment he thought he was just stuck looking like that, and had no idea how to get back to his civilian status.
But then, a lot of kids today seemed much smarter than he had been, and that was a very good thing.
For everyone concerned.
"Well, it's good to meet you, Alfred, and you're always more than welcome at the library, at any time. I'm sure you've seen me in the background and just never thought to look up," he laughed, not surprised to hear it. He was used to the idea that librarian were easy to ignore. But that came with the job: if he was making noise to be noticed, he wasn't really doing his job right.

Alfred beamed some, nodding as he did, and motioned. "Ah, I'm there usually with my cousin, in fact. Perhaps we simply do not look. Or I'm spending too much money at the book store." Alfred chuckled at his own wit, and collected his book bag carefully, turning to Tony again. "Rather difficult to resist, however, regardless of what my lesser classmates belief." Which was all of them really, if he was the one asked.

Tony smiled and nodded his head, always glad to meet someone who loved books. He had, of course, a special place in his heart for the written word, and anyone that appreciated it was automatically held higher in his esteem. Even without really knowing them. It was like free points.
Gave them a head start.
"Great! Then I'm sure I'll see you at work all the time, and after, I am usually on the roof for a bit before I start my patrols. So! I think we should meet up again soon, and I can show you some more of the basics about being a knight. I never like to start out swinging, as I know awakening can be a little overwhelming. Not to mention exhausting. How about you get some rest, and we pick up again tomorrow?"

Alfred nodded, and grinned faintly. "That sounds good." He responded, grinning faintly. He was already taking notes - to bring a pen and empty journal, for one; perhaps his library card, in case there was recommended reading (he hoped there was recommended reading), and the new page nodded. "I'll try to come prepared as well." Such as it was, he was glad he hoarded blank books for sketching and for writing. They finally could help.

Tony nodded his head, smiling and then bowing his head a bit. He powered back up, after a careful look around, so he could continue his patrol for the evening.
"Well, I think I'm going to take another look around, make sure nothing bad is lurking. Are you going to stay out and patrol, or head home? Either way, I can at least walk you somewhere."
Safety in numbers. It was a constant truth, particularly in this town.

Alfred took the cue from Camelot, thinking, then looking around himself before focusing on how he had felt when he grasped the compass, and he felt himself power again, and Stonehenge nodded to Camelot, looking to him calmly. "If I may," Stonehenge noted in a respectful tone, "Might I accompany for your patrol and observe? I think if I'm to learn, it may do well to observe a person with far nore experience." Not to mention he didn't quite want to go home yet.

NovaCracker We can probably wrap this one and make another rp with them patrolling if you want? or skip to training. Camelot made sure the coast was clear now that he was powered up, using his many aura sensing abilities to his advantage. There was nothing to be sensed in the area, though, so the coast was clear for the trio. Of course, Hadaya had the ability to help muffle their auras, anyway, so they would likely have a peaceful night of patrolling.
"Of course! We'll patrol for a little around the rooftops. They're usually the best place to get a good look around the town, plus it's fun to use these powers we're given to jump around. Even an 'old' man like me enjoys looking like a badass, sometimes."
He grinned, pointing up to a roof before jumping and climbing up it, motioning for Stonehenge to follow him, and start the first night of his tutelage. Might as well hit the ground running, so to speak. Or jumping.

Lithiasaur Sounds good - if we do training I can also add Cordoba since she and Camelot still need to train. Stonehenge nodded, looking for ledges to climb before he motioned. "That should work. Less risk of being seen by monsters, I assume." The page said, calmly. It was very new, but he wasn't particularly afraid. Then again, he wasn't particularly easy to frighten.
