Zigari felt the air rush out of the lungs the moment the older elf was out of sight.  That hadn’t been the scariest thing they’d experienced, not by a long shot, but it still had not been very easy.  Someone merely yelling at the naga sent shivers through their body.  But they’d had Callie — a friend.  Zigi frowned as Callie sank to her knees and began to sob.  They had won — somewhat.  Why was she crying?  “Callie…”  Zigari hesitated a moment, debating and wondering if what they wanted to do would be accepted.  They huffed, finally, and laid a hand on the neko’s head and pet her hair.  “C’mon, Callie.  Let’s get out of here, yeah?  We can get something to eat later.”
