"Okay I won't tell you." she said brightly. "But I know for a fact the Doctor doesn't use people." she looked offended at the implication. "He's done nothing but encourage me and I feel like I've gotten better at everything because of him, he like, got me things to write with and he's helped me with lots. I feel like if I asked him for anything he would give me it." she frankly idolised the man, feeling as if he'd rescued her from something indescribable, lending her a life she might never have had and keeping her safe. Mostly, now people knew things it was getting more and more dangerous and she could feel the stirrings of fear at the thought. "I'm glad you think it sounds good, I hope it is. I think I get better with every story I write." and her smile was genuine, reaching to her bright eyes.
"I hope it can make other people happy too, when I have my vampire and I'm happy, I hope it'll help them understand that there is someone for them too." And Melvin got a sympathetic look, he was a daft little thing she thought, lonely and broken but so loyal. She knew that Lawrence had wanted to keep him like a possession for one reason or another but she didn't think that meant he deserved what sort of fate that would ultimately be. "I hope I've helped you like, at all. I'm sorry if I've confused things. He's just..there's something like, not right in him, and probably something not right in me too. When it comes down to like, the most basic decisions in life like. Will you take a bullet for the person you love the most, will you sacrifice everything for someone else, will you even give up a little thing for them? He can't see why you'd ever say yes. I am trying to learn from the books, I don't need to understand why to just know that I would do it."
She sighed, putting a hand on a slender hip. "Just be careful Melvin. I like you, I know you probably like, more than you know me, and I know he wants you, and even if you tried to leave now, I don't know if he'd ever really let you go."

"Playing the good Daddy then." Or maybe wanting his creation to flourish without any hindrances.
"Do you think you don't deserve a vampire to love you. To be kept from understanding? To have help and be understood? If you are a part of him, maybe you both want that. I don't think anyone should keep that from either of you. To be happy and understood, and be shown what you have trouble understanding. To give you guys a chance."
He smiled to her. "I'll try and be careful, but...if something should happen, it won't be anyone's fault but my own. You were very helpful to me, Chantelle. Thank you. If I can return the favor for you, don't hesitate to ask me."

"I can't really talk about like, what he wants. I think mostly he just wants. I don't think its like, aimed at anything. It's just there and maybe that's what makes it dangerous like some kind of black hole that just pulls everything in." she did however give him a smile.
"Don't get pulled in, and don't worry about it, if I need help, I'll give you a call."
