SIU had been... an interesting experience thus far. Granted, she had kept to herself. Not focusing on delving into other people's mind, god forbid she expose herself as a Telepath to the facility at large and expose herself as a threat.
The ongoing 'crisis' was more or less an annoyance. Loud sirens blaring off, people running to hole themselves up or respond to the casualty at hand. Herself catching little tiny snippets of information here and there.
Large fire. Metas escaping.
She took in a deep breath as she caught a message direct from Kae. Taking in a deep breath, trying to think about exactly what she was going to do.
'What do you want me to do when I see them?' She questioned as she kept up a hurried walk up the stairs, pulling down a pair of CO2 canisters from the wall, two should be able to do what she needed she hoped. Letting them follow behind her in midair thanks to some telekinesis. The air was already getting hotter as she climbed up the steps, not sure what would be safe. Hopefully she wouldn't run into anything too dangerous.

Ree sighted. Brought down. Disappeared. Metas attacking on third level and 1 casualty. Multiple injured. "Not this s**t again. Yeah, we are not playing these games anymore." Pulling the radio back up to her lips, she began to give orders as she ran.
"Get visuals on Ree again, he likely teleported, can't be that far, spread out and look in places one would hide. Keep eyes out for Tri as well just in the off chance he's here too. Zira is on her way to aid in finding and apprehending him. Don't kill him, bring him in for questioning."
"They have to get the bottom floor before they can get outside, we'll cut them off with a the prototype unit. Do not engage He.. Ashral. Do not attack or approach her. Only focus on the other two. Use tranqs, take them down asap."
/Syth, just wave your arm and point them where they need to go. They are just humans, they're scared and confused. Just need to get that fire out though before it burns this whole damn place down./
She looked to Asriel, "I have Zira going out to help retrieve Ree, and Sona is going to the second floor to help put out the fire and evacuate anyone still trapped there. I will stop Ashral myself. Hopefully they can tranq the other two before they reach the bottom floor, so there's two less to deal with in this possible fight. Though, I'd rather not anyone fight her. Let me try to talk to her. She might be able to be reasoned with."

Ashral sped around the corner yet again, the stairwell just at the end of the hall, but they were blocked by another 6 guards, just waiting for them this time. Ashral let go of Leuk. 'Slide under them, get to the other side, quick!' The six of them opened fire with tranqs, the kids being too small and too fast to be easily hit.
Leukos ran and slid between one of the guards legs, running for the stairwell first.
Melody froze up slightly, not taking off right away as one of the tranqs almost hit her, had it not been for Ashral resummoning her blade into her left hand now and hitting the tranq from out of the air with it before it would have connected with Melody. Suddenly, Melody took off running too, merely running through them, ducking down low so they couldn't get her.
One of the guards turned as the other two had changed position. Their priority wasn't even on Ashral at the moment, as they focused on Leukos and Melody. A guard shot a tranq as Leukos as it went straight into his back, knocking him down almost immediately.
"Leukos!" Ashral exclaimed as she ran at the guards and jumped clear over them as she scooped up Leukos into her arms and kept moving. Her chest hurting so much now as her heart rate was only increasing the blood flow of her wound. As she finally got to the stairs, she jumped up to land on the railing, looking down the center of the stairwell. Ashral paused for a moment, looking back at Melody then jumping down, letting herself fall from the third floor to the bottom floor, her feet gently touching the bottom as she kept moving. Looking up, Melody had done the time, much to her disbelief. "Keep moving, Bay 2 is close by." She spoke as she rounded a finally corner and hesitated, coming to a complete stop as she caught sight of Kae, Asriel, and a protype armor standing there waiting for them.

There was a pause as a second or two passed "...Roger" the voice responded apprehensive but it passed the order along, watching as the guards outside helped each other get back into order and split up, switching from normal gun to tranq. At least a few did as they warily started searching the area for the meta.

Asriel made a soft noise in his throat but it was neither agreement or disagreement, just noise as he kept running. He only slowed when their second to last prototype unit showed up from a side corridor, fingers gripping her weapon like it was a life preserver, after yesterday he wasn't quite sure if it wasn't.
"Ahead" he muttered, slowing down as they reach the corridor with the stair well up ahead. His hand moved toward his hip before he realized he wasn't armed at all. Things went from being promoted, to have someone else take the same position, to now this. He was starting to wonder if Mara had left some unlucky presence in SIU.
"Ree found and tranq" the voice was tense as it came through the radio.
"They are heading down the stairs now, one of them seems to have been tranqed"
The prototype armor unit user muttered softly, her hands lifting up the gun and just aiming it at the corridor before remembering they were supposed to be tranquilizing them, that they were just children even if one was a malice. A malice, oh go... she didn't want to die.There was no change in her position to switch out guns just aim and ready
Asriel took in a quick breath of air as he saw Hexxis carrying leukos and Melody close behind. "Hexxis, go to sleep!" he shouted quickly at the malice before the unit was tempted to pull the trigger.

The smoke coming from the upper level was still concentrating on the ceiling not yet thick enough to not see but still enough to cause eye to burn or coughing. Humans were rushing down, less of them now since the first thing to go off was the fire alarm itself.
Up the stairs two humans stood in front of the open door covering their mouths and nose with some clothes as they looked inside, trying to decide what to do and if they shouldn't just run now.

'Just wave my arms like I don't care' She muttered to herself as she went up to face the fire. Coming across an open door two humans were standing in front of, the thought of violating a rule she had set up with Kae. Then again, the fire could easily get out of hand and safety was kind of a paramount thing.
'What are you doing staring at the door!?' Syth mentally screamed at the two humans, trying her best to mimic talking my moving her lips with her words, 'Go get some help or find a firehose to man!'
She paused only to think of a course of action. These bottles wouldn't be enough, but at least she could push in deeper. Pulling off the tab, letting the can hit the ground while she pointed the nozzle. Giving off a spray to start suffocating the fire.
If she were going to summon something, she'd be using up a lot of effort. Hopefully the humans were somewhat useful.

Red eyes glinted barely visible in the overcast of truck as shadows began to pool up around Ree and something grabbed him, contesting the strength of the humans that were trying to drag him out. It pulled him in hard, using enough force to almost pull a human in, but was so fast that it only caused the guard to slam their head against the side of the truck, knocking them unconscious.
Ashral heard the words, a panic rising up as her eyes began to feel heavy as she was starting to lose consciousness, dropping to one knee for a moment. She struggled hard against the command which still affected her. Her adrenaline ramped up as far as she could manage to induce as she glared at Asriel, forcing herself to stand shakily. She then moved to Melody and handed Leukos' body to her. Standing to look at the three adults before her, taking a deep controlled breath.
Kae narrowed her eyes, "We have Ree. Stand down, Ashral. Surrender and go back to your room. You know what could happen to Hexxis if you don't comply. Don't risk that." she commanded fiercely, standing her ground.
"Ashral, we have to stop. Leukos is hurt. You're hurt. We should just go back."
"I can't do that." she whispered softly, eyes never breaking contact from the three of them.
"Why not?" she asked with a pained look on her face as she sat down on the floor, and laid Leukos' head into her lap, effectively giving up the fight.
"Because if you have something worth fighting for, then you fight for it." she responded in a calm voice, taking a step forward as she began to calmly walk towards the adults, her face looking expressionless with eyes narrowed in determination.
"Ashral, surrender yourself. Last chance."
Ashral kept walking, not responding anymore as she only kept moving.
Kae growled, "Don't shoot her, I'll handle her. If I get downed by her,....... kill her." she gave the order and then looked to both Asriel and the prototype armor, making sure she had slid far enough back so they couldn't see her as she summoned her sword, a portal opening just around her wrist and fanning out as a golden sword appeared in her hand behind her back. "Override to access level 1. Authority level tango delta tango alpha bravo victor." Kae then swung the sword in front of herself and lunged forward to swing the sword downward at Ashral.
Ashral glared at the command and planted one foot back as she summoned her own sword horizontally and blocked Kae's weapon with hers. Staring into Kae's eyes, she analyzed the situation.
'If you really wanted this, you'd be fighting.'
'I can't.'
'You can, you're just afraid. I thought you wanted to protect him with your life and here you are cowering away in fear. Have you no spine? You're just like him.''
Their mind was silent as Ashral jumped back a couple feet. The override code actually wouldn't allow her to use force enough to hurt Kae, or anyone. However, if that was the case, why was Kae using so much force to stop her.
'Fight, god dammit! Quit holding yourself back, if you don't start fighting, you're going to let him die again and this time, not by my hand. And you won't be able to bring him back this time.'
'....i can't. I'm not strong enough.'
Ashral blocked every attack that Kae was dishing out. 'Quit selling yourself short! Where's that fire you had in you the last time we talked?!' She rolled out of the way of Kae's sword, their fight like watching two expert swordsmans in a battle to the death. A warrior of an ancient battle, and an honor-bound samurai. 'Idiot! If you don't fight for what you want, don't you dare cry for what you lost in the end!!'
Hexxis took a step back as her blade dissolved from her own hand, leaning back to barely miss an attack aimed for her neck, her eye slowly fading to blue as her face became more deadpan. "..you're right. What good am I if I can't protect the only thing I've ever wanted in my life..." she mumbled robotically as she watched Kae thrust her sword towards her. Hexxis jumped up and landed on the sword itself, then jumped from the sword, a frontal flip before landing behind Kae and taking off running towards the other two, she jumped up to the side, running along the wall for a brief moment around them and landed on the ground once again behind them as well and bolted as fast as she could for the exit of the building.
'Why are you helping me so much?'
'I may hate Tri, but he's your family.. and at least one of us deserves something more than what life gave us. That and if we act fast, Tri can help us get Ree as well.'
"..I understand. Four minutes remaining."
Kae had turned quickly as she jumped over her and then got past the other two. "s**t! Take the other two to their rooms!" she turned on her heel and began to run after Hexxis. "It's Hexxis now, don't use lethal force. Tranq her!" she demanded, as she ran after the girl, sword still in hand.

"Sh** he's still awake?! " one of the guards shouted ducking and pointing the tranq gun into the gloom after the guard who has been pulling him out was dragged far enough to slam his head into the car. "We hit him like 5 times!" another guard grabbed and pulled the other one back everyone staring at the ground beneath the car seeing nothing. "Sh**..... look around he must have teleported again...somehow" .

Asriel took a step back nervously as Ashral feel then moved back up, seemed to be fighting it. He took a step back, eyes narrowing but he had absolutely no weapons on him at all.Sh** Giving up he backed all the way up to the armor unit who was still pointing her gun at Ashral, the tip of his trembling slightly but still on aim.
"What?! " Ashral turned to stare at Kae as she spouted nonsense, rushing to fight a MALICE with a sword, a gold sword that he was almost sure she did not have unless she pulled it out of her- "Are you crazy?!" he tried to grab her and missed, if she pushed her to fight her programing it might break!.
Add adrenaline junky and crazy to what must be genetic similarities between Mara and her sister.
He took a step forward to do...what? Stare obviously, because the next minute the crazed rush ended with a dance of swords. What...the...he....
He jerked back as Ashral fliped over kae and landed between himand the armor unit. A girl..just a pre-teen and he was freaking scared of her. //for good reasons//the back of his mind thought as he moved into a fighting position.
"s**t! Take the other two to their rooms!"
Asriel blinked in confusion as she ran past them all "4 minutes?" turning to glance back at Melody and Leukos wishing he had a tranq gun right now to plug the girl and the guy a few times.
Watching the other two run off he moved to Melody and reached down to grab her arm tightly. "Get. up." taking out his own radio and asking for assistance at the corridor.
The prototype unit lowered her gun during the battle, they were fighting to close together to even bother trying to shoot one of them without hitting the other. So she never expected the break as the meta took a break for freedom. After the past few encounters with metas she had not been feeling at all confident in her abilities to actually do what needed to be done. After yesterday.. she was certain that she couldn't do this any more. So when Hexxis landed and ran past Asriel she gasp and leaned back against the wall.
"(name!)"
She pushed off the wall and took off running after Kae gritting her teeth as she switched the gun for the tranq gun they all carried. Stun grenade? //.....no.. ::memories of what she saw yesterday, of what was left of the rest of her team:: // He hand passed over the grenade and over to the energy sword itself before just moving back and gripping the tranq with both hands running normally instead of activating anything more. She could...but she didn't want to. Call her selfish but she wanted the metas gone.

The two humans turned to stare Synth with blank faces as she coughed even through the wet cloth around their mouth. One of them looked relieved and rushed off to get the fire hose that was curled up near to the fire alarm after breaking the glass. The second human ran off to help her, staying near the hose looking on a way to turn it on. "here" the first human coughed out, holding the end of the hose as she glanced in to the room, glad that someone knew something. She always saw that hose but never really remembered that hey that was for this.
Inside the oil had burnt into the bottom of the pan but the flare of fire had caught on some of the furniture above and was slowly burning that.

Oh god they don't know anything
Time for some quick damage control training for humans. The fire hose being a god send, her hands moving to grab the nozzle of the hose to inspect it. Good condition, variable settings, and two extra bodies. Okay they could do this.
"The supplying valve needs to be open," She stated, forcing the nozzle shut by flipping the lever over. Telekenesis taking care to open the valve connected to the hose. Once the valve was open, the hose quickly filled itself out, pressurized to about a hundred pounds.
"Hold the hose on the left side and follow me," She commanded, switching the position to flush, giving it a test. Once checked, she flipped the nozzle off, switched the nozzle to V, and opened the nozzle once again. Water shooting out from her in a cone, bringing cooling water in front of her as she pushed forward.
Maybe if she had known she was going to do this she'd have grabbed respirators... or proper suits for this stuff. Hm? That smelt strange, and was the smoke getting darker?

Zira held onto him tightly until her body began to change. The shadows reformed just outside of the walls of the headquarters, Ree's body formed, and the out came a large fox-like creature with jet black fur, long slender ears and two tails accompanied by purple splotches along its legs back and tails. Long slitted red eyes looked down at Ree, nuzzling his face lightly. No response. The large creature nuzzled itself underneath him, shadowed aura pulled his arms around her neck as she took off running along the wall toward where Hexxis would be leaving.
/Child, if you can make it, I have what would effectively be considered a surprise./
Hexxis continued to run, the pain in her shoulder immense as she just refused to stop, hurdling over any person that met her path. She did her best to just keep moving. Tranq whizzed passed as her focus kept her alert, dodging every single one expertly, eventually making to the gate as a voice rang out in her mind, one that wasn't Ashral's. Her eyes narrowed in determination as she saw the guard at the gate step into her path and pull a tranq gun on her, commanding her to stop. She quickly slid and tripped him, spotting another guard emerging from the post as her kicked her back away from the downed guard. She flipped back on one hand, landing on her feet and springing forward to launch herself right at the other guard, grabbing onto their shoulders as she flipped over them, twisting her body as she rested her feet against their back and pulled hard to send them flying quite a distance from her. She landed down on her feet in a crouch and took off running from the gate. 'I'm here, let's go.'
Zira ran up to Hexxis and kneeled down enough to let Hexxis onto her back. /I'm glad you made it. It's not safe for you here./
'Ree... no..'
Hexxis reached out shakily to touch Ree, he was barely breathing. She wanted to help, but there was no time this moment as more shots rang out in the distance. She pushed Ree up further and got onto Zira's back and held her arms around Ree and gripped onto fur. Nudging her heels into Zira's sides as a signal to go and they took off as fast as possible away from the compound.

Kae was still running, backed up by the prototype armor as she bolted at full speed after Hexxis. "Damn, she's fast." she cursed as she watched her dodge every tranq shot at her and make way to the gates. She watched her take down the two guards at the gate and run further ahead. Kae pulled the tranq gun from the floor, dropping her sword on the ground. She aimed straight for Hexxis, steadying, hesitating, then missing on purpose until the rounds were out. She watched as the giant fox-like creature ran off into the distance and Kae slowly dropped the gun to her side and then dropped it to the ground. "s**t.. she got away.." she cursed aloud and then looked back the the person in the armor. She then began to sprint back towards where she last left Asriel and the kids.

Melody was grabbed hard as she pulled back from the pain, not enough strength to even resist it however as she made distressed harp noises. She tried to push her free hand against his grasp, attempting to try to get him to let go, fear filling her eyes as she looked to Leukos. "Leukos, wake up! Help!" she cried out softly between more harp noises, pulling her weight away from Asriel, still doing anything to get him to let go of her, tears in her eyes.
'..I don't like this, Melody. We need him to stop.'
"..No no no please don't. It's okay.. I'm sorry, sir. Please don't hurt me, I'm sorry!" she begged, beginning to cry.

The prototype armor user sighed in relief hoping it would be mistaken for disappointment as she sent off a few off mark shots after them. Where in the world did that animal thing they were riding come from? "What is -that-" making sure not to hit it because she didn't really care about capturing them at all. Now to hope they never came back ...or destroyed anything. Ree used to be pretty nice... why did he turn on them? or was it that Malice? . It barely mattered now, she just hoped he didn't return.
"You just shut up" he growled at her and went back to talking into the phone without releasing his grip. Soon after, a few of the guards who had been chasing all three children walked down the stairs. Their emotions ranged from fear to anger as they gazed at Melody and Leukos, hoping to spot Hexxis in the pile or her dead body.
"Need someone to sleep her" he motioned to Melody. "Then take them back to their rooms" he said letting her go as one soldier aimed and fire at Melody with a tranq.
"Ree teleported again. We can't find him"
"Hey, where the heck is the fire department and the fire su- Greg just where is Greg? "
"....he was at parley yesterday"
"...... I hope people have evacuated level 1 and 2....."
"Sh**!!!!!!!! next time you see Ree? just shoot him. you have my permission to just shoot him " Asriel shouted and called 911. Okay yes..today he was happy Kae had taken over... it can land on her.
The first human nodded, staring as the hose just started to fill with water assuming her friend had opened the value himself. While the second human stared and shrugged, assuming it filled up a minute after being open or something from the hose end.
The first human moved to the left and held the hose, squinting as she moved forward, wait...wasn't it getting worse?
The smoke turned a darker black and the fire flared out a bit through the smoke. The two humans started going into fits of coughs, holding the cloth against their mouth hoping that helped. The flame on the furniture was dying down slightly from the water though, of what could be seen and spreading.

Well yes worse it was getting, but they were making a difference, at least that was what she would be reminding herself. Kae said to put out the fire, and she would be doing such a thing. Not to mention the fact that she'd get some recognition out of the entire ordeal and at least place herself in a position where she wouldn't be seen as someone who was just here to be a menace.
The darker smoke wasn't helping though. Signs of an oil fire, water wouldn't be as effective depending on the amount that was on fire. Finding furniture that had been placed on fire, focusing her attention on the furniture as she fought deeper in. She still had one canister thankfully, if there was a small grease fire somewhere she'd have an easier time using the CO2 than water.
Where in the hell was the fire department? Why in the hell was it just her and two humans trying to take on a fire that was swarming the building. This place seemed to be full of nothing but incompetence and she could only give out a loud voiceless groan over the thoughts.

Melody squirmed in his grip, too small to make a difference as he growled at her, she whimpered. As Asriel demanded someone put her to sleep, she looked at him with terror in her eyes as her blue eye faded into a deep purple and her scared expression turned to one of anger. As she as was let go, a guard shot at her with a tranquilizer gun. Melody moved her hand to block it as the tranq enveloped in shadow and she glared at Asriel, moving her hand to redirect it right at Asriel. "Stay away from us!" she exclaimed with fury in her voice, "I won't let you hurt her!!" she then took off running down the hallway away from them.
Kae made it back to the bay doors as she huffed out of breath, taking a moment to catch her breath before she would continue back into the building.

Asriel blinked and turned to look at her. "JUST SHUT TH- .....what" the second in command looked down at the tranq sticking out of his chest for a few second before thing turned blurry and he just collapsed.
There was complete silence for less than a second as they watch their commanding officer just drop with a dart in his chest and the small meta go off running again. They were tired... so freaking utterly tired and the first person to realize what happened just turned aimed and fired with live ammunition twice after Melody. This wasn't a child, these were just little malices always waiting to harm them, it was stupid thinking that they would be able to work with them, better to just take them down. He stopped finally and ran, followed by 7 other people a few still with tranq guns.
Prototype armor unit returned with kae but split off to go up the stairs to deal with the fire as people kept yelling into her comm. She could hear the sound of the fire department finally arriving..the problem with living at the outskirts and their own team who should have handled it dead.
She paused for a moment to activate internal life support system before she stomped up the stairs, pausing as she saw the hose already being pulled and the sound of water being sprayed. Oh dear.... rushing inside she activated the light son the side of her helmet. "Hey! whose still here? can you make it out?!"

Light! But it was coming from behind her. Taking a moment to look behind her to see someone in a strange armor. Light shining from his or her helmet to shine in front of her. Even better, it seemed like professionals were arriving.
"Three of us are here" She stated to the person within the suit. Slowly pulling back with the hose. The fire wasn't out, the humans were probably tired from the fight, and honestly this whole deal was risky without any of the equipment, "Where is the response unit?".

She was running as fast as she could, just trying to escape. She didn't even know where. 'Need to find a way out.' She suddenly heard two gunshots as one missed, ricocheting off the wall and the second one grazed her leg, deep enough to cause pain as she tripped and tumbled to the floor.
Melody curled up into a ball on the floor, sobbing uncontrollably. "..im sorry... im so sorry.." she muttered to herself through whimpers.
Kae ran to where they had been, her eyes widened as she saw Asriel unconscious on the ground now. Looking around, she accounted for Leukos but.... Where was Melody?! She took off running for where she heard gun fire. "NOO!" she exclaimed as she ran even faster, panic setting in fast as she rounded the corner to see Melody curled up on the floor and blood pooling up around her leg. "STAND DOWN, NOW!" she screamed, as she didn't even wait for them to respond, walking up to Melody and picking her up. She opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out. Walking back toward Asriel. "Someone get Leukos to his room. Prep a hospital bed for Lieutenant Colonel Asriel immediately. We need EMS and where the hell is the fire department?!" she was trying to rangle control of everything as she held tightly onto Melody in her arms.

The eight guards ,who had been chasing Melody, cursed softly as Kae just passed them in a flash.Somehow running faster than any of them who had a head, start only to stop them as she reached the meta first and ordered them not to hurt her.Didn't she remember what happened yesterday?! she she even care?!.... damn it!!
Kae was glared at with eight pairs of eyes as they moved away. She might out rank them but she didn't have their respect not after this. The first guard picked up Leukos holding him as far away from his body as he could while someone else called for the EMS and a third stayed with Asriel. The last guard looked at Kae with a combination of anger and fear on top of the worry cause by the fire. "It has to come from the city. Our own brigade was part of the ones wiped yesterday" was the near strangled voice as he just walked past Kae heading up to go help with the fire now there that they weren't going to be stabbed form behind by out of control metas..he hoped. He cast Melody one last long hateful look before he left... the EMS busy up stairs with the teammate Hexxis killed and the one who was now missing an arm.
"They are coming. I need you three to get out and head down as fast as you can, can you do that? Good job...really I don't think any one wa- never mind" she didn't wait for a reply as she moved into the smoke keeping an eye on her suit's temperature reading and air filtering system. Alright then...there it is..... damn it Ree... just why. Eyeing the pan and the one tall flame licking over what was left of damp furniture she tapped her shoulder and activated the shield system and waited for the flame to just use up all the accessible oxygen and go out as she relied on her suit's oxygen system.
