Well, looks like her attack was quite effective. Even without the missile, she'd been putting quite the number on his pillbox construct, enough so that he had to fortify it with extra walls, which also started breaking. And then when the missile did come in, it completely busted his defenses, burying him in rubble and leaving him partially vulnerable to the remaining weapons. Looks like she'd have to keep this attack in mind for other confrontations.

Seeing as he seemed to be down for now, Evelyn dispelled the weapons and portal-like constructs and gave her ring one of her preset commands. "Ring, begin Mercy protocol." With that, the ring got to work on healing her up, focusing first on her grazed arm, then her bruised side. It wouldn't be healed completely, but it was enough to stop what little bleeding there was and hopefully lessen the bruises that would show up later. It would do until she could get somewhere to recharge and rest up.

Her attention was drawn back to her opponent as the green rubble vanished and he got to his feet. Honestly, she was impressed that he was able to get up at all, considering the kind of hit he took. It was obvious he didn't get out unscathed, though. Watching him carefully, she gave a wry grin as he complimented her tactics. "Well, thank you. You're pretty tough to have survived it! And it's funny, you remind me of someone, too. You've got the same sort of no-nonsense attitude he does."

He had the same red hair, too, and for a moment she wondered if it was as soft as George's was. She remembered getting drunk with him one time, one of those nights where they'd shared some whiskey and just talked into the early hours, and on a whim she'd ruffled his hair. Being drunk as she was, she'd marveled at how soft it was and kept playing with it until he told her to cut it out. The memory made her heart ache for a brief moment, before she shook her head and scowled to herself. Those days were long gone, and she needed to stop reminiscing about them. George wasn't her friend anymore, not after abandoning her like he had.

Tilting her head at the Green Lantern, she mused, "So, shall we call this a draw? It's not in my orders to kill, and I think I've gotten all I need from you for now." Giving another Cheshire grin, she added, "Though if you want to keep fighting, I won't complain. I've still got plenty of fight left in me, and the more info I can put in this report, the better." Once this was all over, she'd send the report on this hero back to Sinestro, then move on to the next one until she was given orders to do otherwise. She'd look for George in her spare time.

"The only thing you have to fear... is me."

Where: Naval Base
Company: Sinestro Corps
Thoughts: A draw? Well as much as I want to not let her get away, and The Guardians would be pissed if I do, there is a pressing potential threat heading for the city....I'll have to let her go for now
Equipment:

She most certainly was not your average Sinestro Corps lackey. Many of them would take the chance of him being buried under green hard light, rubble, and dust to beat him mercilessly, trying to find something to make him afraid of them, but not her. As he got out of the rubble and began patching himself up, she....acknowledged his compliments and gave him one as well? George was confused, and something tells him her real mission was not to kill him. Maybe not yet anyway. The fact he reminded her of someone made him question what she was talking about.

And then she suggested they call it a draw. Now George was really confused, and she pretty much confirmed his suspicions. She was not on a seek and destroy mission. She was recon, and she got all she needed from him. As much as he didn't want her to get away, as much as he wanted to put her in a cell and put away an enemy, at this rate they'd be at this all day. For now, he will have to let her go. Besides there was another potential threat going towards the city that he had to stop. Sighing, George straightened up and looked at her, before he finally answered, "Fine, a draw it is. But let me make something clear: if I hear you are causing trouble anywhere, I will make sure you regret it," the tone he used was one that should let her know he was not ******** around.

At the very least Coast City was safe from her.

Based on how quiet her opponent was at first, Evelyn would guess that he was confused. After all, it wasn't every day that your enemy offered a draw, especially after not taking an easy opportunity to wreck you even more. But like she said, her orders weren't to kill. For now, her orders were to learn what she could about the new heroes and send that information back to Sinestro, who would do with it what he saw fit.

Watching him carefully as he straightened up, she was prepared for him to reject her offer, but to her surprise, he accepted, telling her that he'd make her regret it if she caused any trouble. "Oh, will you now? I can't wait to see you try," she mused, giving him a slight smirk. She could tell how serious he was, but she wasn't scared of him. From what she could tell, they were pretty evenly matched, so she doubted he'd be able to take her down very easily, and certainly not without taking a good bit of damage from her. After all, she was one of Sinestro's favorites for a reason.

But anyway, she had a report to make, calling out a playful "Later, 'gator~!" as she floated up and zipped off, compiling what she'd learned and sending it off to her boss as she flew. However, as she flew through the night sky, her stomach grumbled, and she was again reminded that technically, she was homeless and had no income. No way to purchase or prepare food. She could just go to a random bar again and wait for some guy to offer her a drink or something, but that was only a short term solution. She needed an apartment and a job.

Problem was, she was dead by all records. She couldn't sign any papers or apply for a job under her real name, and even if she used a fake name, she would have no references or credit or anything else she would need. She needed a whole new identity. For that, she could just go to any crime lord, but she wanted this to be thorough. After a few more minutes of consideration, she relayed her dilemma to Sinestro, asking if there was anyone on Earth she should go to to do something about this.

A few minutes later, a reply came back: Lex Luthor.

Where: Naval Base
Company: Noone
Thoughts: Alright, now to find that other person
Equipment:

It was obvious she wasn't scared of him. He didn't expect her to be scared of him. After the s**t the Sinestro Corps puts their members through to initiate and train their recruits, they have conquered their own fears and can exploit the fears of others. In some ways, their conquering of their fears isn't much different than the Green Lantern Corps accepting fear. Perhaps Sinestro meant for such irony when he created his corps.

When the mysterious Sinestro Corps member then switched tunes and flew off, George checked the status of his ring and of his injuries. After a brief moment of waiting, the news he got back was pretty encouraging:

Ring power levels at 67 percent. Detecting light damage to the legs and chest region. Cellular regeneration process at 57 percent.

Such news was good to him and thus he floated off the ground and headed back towards the docks to where he can now see part of it had been destroyed. It certainly was not from the fight with the Sinestro Corps woman, but it was pretty powerful. Hovering near the hole, George scanned the burn marks and other residue of what blew this part of the dock up.

Scan complete. Energy analysis confirms the presence of solar radiation. Energy signature does not match any Lantern Corps.

Okay that confirms the fact that neither he or the Sinestro woman did the deed. But who did? George looked at his ring and asked it, "What alien races can harness solar radiation?"

The ring processed the question for a brief amount of time before it came back with two answers:

The only know alien species that can harness solar radiation are Kryptonians and Tamaraneans

And it's unlikely that a Kryptonian is around here, not since they became an endangered species. But Tamaraneans? That is a possibility. And from the looks of things he was heading towards the city. So George immediately made his way back to the city at cruising speed, as it doesn't seem to be in any trouble yet.

Parking his Ducati a few blocks away safely out of sight, Green Arrow made his way stealthily to the base. Of all places, a military base. I should have known this wouldn't be an easy day. he thought as he made his way around the outside of the base. Fortunately the night sky helped give him a decent amount of cover. As he made his way around dodging the sight of military personnel, Justin caught sight of the watchtower whose spotlight was firmly planted on the stack of smoke bellowing out of the ocean. It was further out than he thought, so addressing it directly was impossible for him at the moment. There was a handful of soldiers on the beach near motorboats standing around wreckage that had washed ashore. He had an idea but it was a risky one to say the least. Carefully turning the corner, he fired an explosive arrow at a piece of debris he saw floating about in the water. As it landed it gave a loud boom alarming the men on the beach. "What was that?! Check it out on the double!" the commanding officer ordered as the rest boarded the vessel and saluted. As he ran inside Justin took the opportunity to silently make his way towards the wreckage that washed ashore. As he examined it carefully he couldn't recognize much, save for one bit that had a slight glow to it. This would have to do for now because the longer he stayed, the more likely he was to be caught. Sliding the device into one of his suit pockets he carefully made his way back towards the way he came in. And one more thing. He thought to himself as he turned back. He readied an arrow towards the bottom side of the watchtower and let it fly. As the router arrow firmly planted itself into the wall in a tiny corner out of sight he gave a slight grin and resumed his exit.

As he arrived back at his motorcycle he began to wonder. What could have happened here? His confrontation with Catwoman took more time than he'd have liked it too, and it seemed he missed a fairly big event in the meantime. Hopefully further tests back at the Quiver would help shed some light on the technology he recovered from the sight and if not, there was the data feed from the base he was siphoning already waiting for him.
