The cookie disappeared as they continued to chatter about the various horror-related games that either of them had played. Alrik had never given much thought into the merit of the storyline, but discussing such matters with Olga was
more than confirming a few of his suspicions about plot holes in some of the many games.
An idea sprung into his head and before he knew what he was doing, he popped the question.
"Do you wanna go play something? I've been wanting to check out the Rec Room for some time now, but my sister isn't interested."
The Rec Room had just arrived to Destiny City, having dotted across the country's map in various other locations. Offering six different sectioned off areas within a large warehouse, groups could come in and rent out each space by the hour, picking their own games and systems from the vast choices available and then taking them to their "room". There, they could sprawl across the lengthy couches provided and play their games against the enormous drop-down screened wall. Drinks and food were offered near the bar area, but he just wanted to go for the opportunity to play some classics -
without having to be told to
keep it down by his mother.
"I've got the afternoon available..." He rose from the chair, hands gripping the dishes in preparation for departure. Grinning at the other teenager, he quipped, "That is, if you don't think you'll get
too scared?"
Lucyal
Taking liberties with the Rec Room since I've been meaning to go to the one here in town. Living vicariously through my dorks, c'est la vie???
