It was... comforting, in a way. Listening to Suiravi talk like that did make Ten feel a little... better. He'd never be able to confront his father to find out for sure why he was never good enough, though. He sighed, relaxing a little against Sui and Zaris. "I... I'm really afraid that Avalon will... see me like my father did. Useless, not good enough... and then he'll leave me for you, and I'll be alone..." Ten's wings drooped, but he felt, maybe, that this had brought Sui and himself a little closer?

Sui shook his head and then said "Never ever, I'm sure Avalon would tell you himself that he would never see you as well, or resent you for anything. If Avalon died would you resent your little ones because they have Avalon's eyes?" Sui asked softly. "You're not alone and I am here for you and so is Avalon, we can be like a family if you like??" Suiravi looked up at Ten, he wanted Ten to be happy to see he was more than the past that had shaped him. They could all move forward together if Ten would just trust Avalon and perhaps trust Sui as well.
