❖ Bethany let out an audible gasp which came out more like a squeak when Marii quickly ran up to her. At least she didn't duck back behind the counter or rather, her fear had caused her to freeze up and react poorly. Taking a moment to clean off her spectacles, she could now clearly see that this was Rune Knight Commander to which she would sigh in relief. "M-Miss Marii... I AM SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU!!!" the girl cried out as she rose to her feet. The assistant started to reach over and give the woman a hug, but stopped when she mentioned getting her cleaned up. She had even noticed: she was covered in blood after crawling about on the floor. "O-Oh... I guess you're right. If Miss Rei saw me like this, saw any of this- I'm sure she would have a panic attack..." the girl huffed, unaware how right she was. She would follow Marii very closely, perhaps a little too closely, with Sagitta right behind them.
Presently, her boss was slowly recovering from said panic attack; Vulpecula surrounding them both in her Healing Wisps. Rei rested her head on the fox's shoulder, eyes closed as she showed a faint smile. "Thank you...Vulpecula" she muttered faintly, catching the Celestial Spirit off guard. Her tail swished back and forth as she laid her head on top of Rei's. "Of course. We have to look out for our Lady Rei, don't we? Besides, Sagitta insisted" she chuckled. Truly the wizard was blessed to have so many people looking out for her. She just prayed Bethany was okay... If something ill-fated had become of her assistant after she sent her here with the Dark Mage, she could never forgive herself.
