Most of the ones on my CDs (I have "We Sold Our Soul for Rock 'N' Roll", "Paranoid", and "Live at Last"), I can play on the guitar. Frankly (and yes, I know I'm weird), I can play them a heck lot better on the violin. mrgreen

I play bass i just started out couple months ago i cant play mutch eaither than stratomaster's band songs ( were in a band together)
I can play a lil bit of nib, iron man and paranoid =p

What kanakyo is talkign about kind of reminds me of metallica's tour with the trans siberian orchestra. Man that was so cool of them to combine orchestra and metal. I used to have the metallica/trans siberian orchestra version of "the imperial march" from starwars. It was friggin awesome.

Well, I can't play any as of now but I got guitar tabs for Heaven and Hell and i'm trying to tteach myself that song

ah, make sure you tune down to d#, or as nicolai would say, Eb if you want it to sound right. And yea, thats a pretty fun song to play, i still havn't got the solo right tho.......

wow, holy cow, am i the only one who's noticed iommi's solo's have a tendency to make your fingers bleed. I let myself slack for too long, forgot to many riffs, and now i've been practicing em day and night. Quite frankly IT HURTS!!!

stratomaster wow, holy cow, am i the only one who's noticed iommi's solo's have a tendency to make your fingers bleed. I let myself slack for too long, forgot to many riffs, and now i've been practicing em day and night. Quite frankly IT HURTS!!! Yeah, that'll do that to ya! Man, I remember i forgot N.I.B once and it drove me crazy for 3 days! I knew what to hit, but I didn't have the song around me and I couldn't remember how it went! that's crazy I forgot how it went! I kept mixing it up with Eric Clapton's "Cocaine" riff. I got a certain point and think of Clapton's "Cocaine" (cause it sound similar) and I got lost...

I'm only 13 and I've only been playing for about two years and to be blunt I suck. the only Sabbath songs I ever was non-lazy enough to learn are Black Sabbath, Iron Man (who can't play that) and Paranoid.

Rod_Munch I'm only 13 and I've only been playing for about two years and to be blunt I suck. the only Sabbath songs I ever was non-lazy enough to learn are Black Sabbath, Iron Man (who can't play that) and Paranoid. Hell their's always room for improvement... But yeah, I actually think those are pretty awesome riffs to know! Keep at it man and you'll get better. The only way you can go is up with your skills

dragonsix I can only play iron man on my sax. But It sounds really cool. I don't know where I got the sheet music but I did. I was actually Playing Ironman on the guitar through an amp one day on my front porch and I stopped for a second. From like three houses down, this guy was playing it on a ******** TRUMPET!!!! It was pretty hilarious. I'd like to hear it done on a Sax... It would have a good feel to it if done right
