Fin!
Well... it was unusual, and anything that deviated from the expected norm certainly felt like an emergency to Indra, who had grown to actively fear the unpredictable. When something happened that defied all logic, it had to be the work of a Youma, and if it was the work of a Youma, he could expect an altercation- anywhere- anytime- no reprieve- just at the mercy of whatever Chaos threw at him all the time forever-
He swallowed, gave a little shrug of his shoulders and shake of his head to try and dispel the worst of those all-consuming thoughts. Because it was better now than it had been.
Indra had the ability to sense them now. That had to be good for something. And he didn't feel any Youma nearby. The girls' home was... probably... fine. 'Probably' didn't feel like enough. How could they not be worried? How could they not be anxious? Both of the twins had been at... this longer than he had- They should be concerned- They knew what was out there. They knew the danger- They had been at this longer than he had. Their experience was valuable. He should trust them.
Breana gave him a little shake of her head, which he took to meant he wasn't supposed to argue, and even if he'd wanted to, Indra had said everything that needed to be said. If this was what they wanted to do, it was their choice to make. Their home, not his.
"Alright," Indra agreed, letting his fingers find Breana's for the quiet comfort of her touch. "We will only be a couple of hours. ...It will be fine." He wouldn't repeat that he was nervous to leave Fiona alone- and thought Breana should be nervous as well. Going out was what they had planned to do, anyway. It should please him that they were sticking to plans. "Alright," he said again softly, more to cement the thought of 'yes, go' in his mind. Forget it for a few hours. This was supposed to be fun. He could have fun. It was so rare for him now.
Just enjoy it.
So they went. Indra led his date back to the car and put the twins' house from his mind. There was other exploring to be done.
