Super honored to be one of the winners of the previous round of puzzle play aaa, it really made my weekend <3
Now that the 1st challenge for Cycle 7 is out and more contests have been announced, I'm really excited for what's to come!! (I know I've said this a few times ahaha but I really am XD)
Congrats to the finalists of cycle 7, it'll be awesome to see what you guys come up with. Puzzle play was really fun too. Thank you for hosting these and putting in the effort to create them.

First week of Cycle 7 is almost over! I'm nervous. I keep refreshing to see what everyone's entering.
It's been almost a week, and I have to admit I miss you all. It's been quiet out there 🤫 how is everyone?
Also- ImmortalJelly- I didn't realize I missed your comment. I loved your avatar and thought the resources were a cool touch- a whole other dimension to sharing your perspective.

Thank you so much for appreciating my gem entry!! redface I had a lot of scrapped avis sweatdrop I was really proud of my first one but then I realized it looked more like emerald than peridot. Then there came the struggle of finding light green items that captured what I was going for in my very first avi.
I want to share how I progressed and how I was going crazy at some point gonk (hopefully this is the right thread for it) I had these saved because I keep asking my friend how it looked every second xd
Til I settled on my final entry..!! I couldnt find any other item that worked til I discovered what a pallasite looked like and decided to do black and green.

I love seeing your progression here! It turned out lovely and was balanced nicely with the black in the final draft. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

All of them are lovely! I do love the emerald one best though, it's my favorite green so i may be biased. emotion_c8 Love your layering too btw. I love a good laying to creating something new and different.
During my cycle I was the same as you with having several drafts before settling for the final one! Most of the time with background/setting but yeah I obsesses to get it just right trying everything until I am satisfied with look. Oddly enough though my best looks (in which I won the challenge) I wasn't so indecisive lol So your already doing great 3nodding Keep it up!

I really liked the emerald the best too, at some point I was wishing I could have been born for the month of Emerald rofl I couldn't remake it in peridot, with the limitations of items in that shade. I was very happy about my final entry though, after long hours of trying to find the right items xp
And i feel that soo much, I tend to obsess a bit over the tiniest details haha sometimes looking at it for too long, i cant even tell whats wrong anymore and would need another eye. xd Thank you again heart
