The white around the eyes is also bugging me. Not sure if there was something added or if that is just how the face layers, but again, work with the base features!! Maybe if some yellow eyeshadow or something had been added to kind of connect to the feet it would have helped. Also the arm mod/torso part of the outfit all kind of gets lost in on itself, hard to see what is actually happening.

The emotions in Inside Out. The deadly sins in...anything, including past cycles. My TikTok has been flooded with Hear Me Out challenges where people are even thirsting over numbers. But numbers seemed like a hard one to do, so I'm asking you to personify the days of the week. Bring them to life and tell us who they are. Show us what Monday looks like, give Tuesday a personality. Is Wednesday a crime junkie? Is Saturday lazy, or a party girl? We can't wait to find out. Find your assigned day below and bring them to life! Go bold with this, and really push yourselves to be as creative as possible.

I like the addition of angel wings to her outfit, she looks a bit like a Christmas angel to me. Maybe it's the stars? I don't know, but I like to imagine her performing for some sort of Xmas play. Why is the ponytail/bun combo off-black? Why use the beanie as a headband? I think it would look better as a beanie without the hair add-ons. The pink glasses match the pink on the necklace, but the scarf... Why is it bright red? The idea behind the whole entry was solid, but... honestly, that's all... I am really disappointed.

Kr-E — Priya 80% Style:0 • Motif:0 • Creativity:0 • Description:0 Comments: This is really great, no doubt what day it is. Not the most creative and it kind of feels like we’ve seen this before. Obviously not this exact look, but it just kind of blends with some of the other Priya looks. Nothing wows me.

Something about the skirt is weird, almost looks like a leg in the middle and then some kind of bustle, in a wrong way. I think it could have been more lunar.

Challenge #9: Effervescent Essentials Designers, this week I wanted to give you a unique challenge. You have the most freedom yet, you can do whatever look you want. But. Every item you use - aside from your model's base features - must start with the letter E. I will allow words such as the, of, or, and to come before the E, but nothing more. For example, THE Etoile Bride is allowed, but Sleepy Sherbert Etoile would not be allowed. Despite these examples though, try to be more creative than just 'etoile'. Get creative with different E words and how to use them. I believe you can handle it.
ThoughtsofaDame — Naomi 93.75% Style:8 • Motif:9.5 • Creativity:10 • Description:10 Comments: I know this was a hard challenge, but the work Dame put into it truly paid off! I love that the look was built by individual items and not a set color scheme. I also agree with Dame's thought about the various blues, I think they all work together so well! There's almost too much darkness in the back, and there is something...missing from the head. Maybe it's because the entirety of the body is covered, something just feels too exposed and bare on top.

Like wow I don't know the last time I saw items layer together so well. The colors work so fantastically with one another, and while there is a lot happening none of it feels like too much. I've really got nothing constructive to say on this one, the more I look the more I love it.
Kr-E — Priya 83.75% Style:7.5 • Motif:8 • Creativity:10 • Description:8 Comments: Nailed the E challenge! And I love the variety of E schemes and words used too! The peacock dress is very pretty and great for Priya. The black belt or whatever on the waistline is a little distracting, almost makes for a weird thing with her legs? Not super weird but it keeps snagging my eye.

Idk, it's almost like there isn't enough detail? Like a little kid or a doll, not an adult. But I do like this look, the color scheme is flattering on Zanna. The make up also shoots oddly up over the eyebrows. I think this needed some kind of halo or crown.
Picaru — Pearl 96.25% Style:9 • Motif:9.5 • Creativity:10 • Description:10 Comments: A near perfect look. Something with the nose seems a touch too pink for the rest of the look, maybe because of the eyeshadow? There also might just be one too many things happening with the arms/planet/whatever being woven and the color of the dress and the spinning wheels. But the whole thing works at the same time, and the angel inspiration is very clear.
wishflower — Maeve 95% Style:9 • Motif:9.5 • Creativity:10 • Description:9.5 Comments: I'm obsessed with this. Going the Little Red E-girl direction was so creative and flattering for Maeve! Also glad that the edgy theme was used, mix things up a bit. Crimson is very flattering on Maeve. I don't think [Exclusive] really counts for an E name...but this is good enough I'm not going to be too harsh about that.

Challenge #10: They've Got Their Own Flare Designers, it is important for your models to be flexible with their looks. While a signature look can be great for building a brand, being a chameleon is what will guarantee you keep booking jobs. And it is important to be flexible at the drop of a hat, and we want to see you show off how flexible your models can be by giving them an androgynous look. You can not change their hair or face, any of the base features. This is something you have to achieve using only clothing and accessories, some make up. But less will certainly be more with this challenge. Have fun, designers. ;D
ThoughtsofaDame — Naomi 97.5% Style:9 • Motif:10 • Creativity:10 • Description:10 Comments: My only negative for this look is it tends towards being almost too masculine, we lose some of the androgyny and gone to just a boy. But that is a very minor negative, because everything else in the look is so good and absolutely meets the challenge.
Ananemain — Cressida 88% Style:8.8 • Motif:8.8 • Creativity:8.8 • Description:8.8 Comments: At first glance I wasn't all that impressed, but then as I looked at it more and read the description, I really started to come around. The hat and make up has an amazing impact on the face/eyes to masc them up a bit, and the cigarette was very smart to do the same for the lips. Also really like the layering of the background! There is a weird thing happening with the curl of hair inside, like it's extra emphasized? Maybe the cigarette smoke caused it. Idk. But this is a really solid look!
Kr-E — Priya 86.25% Style:7.5 • Motif:8 • Creativity:9 • Description:10 Comments: I'm not sure this was quite successful enough in the goal of an androgynous look. I think the background worked better for Dame. I think without it the outfit might have read more masculine and thus more androgynous. Details like the crown would have popped more, and the general princely outfit. I might have gone for a more literal crown versus the floating one too, might have helped masc up the hair a bit more. I see the vision and I like the goal, just not the execution.
actualdeerooze — Zanna 80% Style:8 • Motif:8 • Creativity:8 • Description:8 Comments: This is an androgynous look, and I like it, I think the thing that really snags my attention as something wrong is matching the hat and the top. I'm not sure if it takes away from the androgyny, or if it just makes the top so heavy with all the yellow and color as compared to the bottom? I dunno! I love the concept and the vibes, I just think the hat needed to be a different color.
Picaru — Pearl 100% Style:10 • Motif:10 • Creativity:10 • Description:10 Comments: Pearl is so damn cute, I want to stick them in my pocket haha. This is a great look, and this perfectly meets the challenge. The background also works well. A great look, I just love it.
wishflower — Maeve 99% Style:9.9 • Motif:9.9 • Creativity:9.9 • Description:9.9 Comments: This is a perfectly androgynous look, it's amazing and I love it. The only reason this isn't getting a 100 is because it's almost too perfect. It's missing a spark of something special, feels a little familiar. I'm not sure I can explain it.

I feel like something is missing, but I cannot pinpoint what it is.

There is something weird going on with the layering for sure.

Challenge #11: Don't Force It Designers, this is one of my favorite holidays, and I want to celebrate it with all of you! That's right, you're sending your models to a galaxy far far away for this final challenge. Are they with the rebellion? A jedi? A sexy sith lord to make us question the real meaning of good and evil?! This Star Wars day, I'm leaving it up to you. But it has to be obvious where the models are. Some notable locations and scenes to play with might include a cantina, a speeder, lots and lots of sand. Like so much sand. Get creative and have fun with this. You model has to stay a human (sadly) so no changing skin or base features, and you can only use one item that was released in ode to Star Wars. One hat or lightsaber or whatever. Feel free to go as literal or as aesthetic as you want, and May The Force Be With You.

This is beautiful and I really like the setting on this one - definitely the best. I think there could have been some more make up maybe? I don't immediately think Star Wars though.

The outfit itself is damn near flawless, but I'm not really sure how I feel about the head piece? It almost layers weird. The background is also a little empty? But at the same time I don't want anything added because then we couldn't see the cloud city which is a perfect detail. She did a great job though, and clearly thought about things and researched. Can't wait to see her collection.

It was a wise move on Dee's end to reference her first entry for the cycle. Seeing her entry and comparing it to what she made here is a huge upgrade. To think her first entry was such a serve, and yet they sought out to improve upon their first entry, says a lot about how far Dee has come. She went with such a bright and fun concept, and each model's outfits have many elements to it, yet everything works harmoniously despite the many patterns and colours. My one gripe I do have with this collection is that every outfit is well thought out, that I can't tell who's the main model. Maybe if Maeve had a better background to make her stand out more would've been nice. That's not so much of a problem, to be honest, and even so, this is an amazing collection.

That said, it is a tad underwhelming next to her competitors' collection. One main thing I notice is that her main model doesn't feel like the star of this collection. The other models have better and grander silhouettes going on, compared to Naomi. But the outfits themselves do look good. Maybe some models look less witchy than others, but still, this is a nice collection.

It is girly, colourful and beautiful. I love that each model has different dresses, but has that same feel with the voluminous skirts and a fairy-like aesthetic that I enjoy. That being said, I do find this collection on the less creative side. Don't get me wrong, I have many praises for this collection, and it does stay true to who Picaru is, but I am missing a touch of extra in this to push it to a whole other level. Maybe maximising the concept would've been nice, but regardless, this is one gorgeous collection.
My PC6 Finale Thoughts (Flames' Version)
wishflower, ThoughtsofaDame, and Picaru, congratulations on making it to the finale of Project Catwalk Cycle 6! emotion_bigheart I am the surprise judge to end your cycle. For those unfamiliar of me, I am iiiFlames, you can call me Flames. I am one of the Vice Captains of the guild. Nice to meet you, Cycle 6.
Though I am only judging your finale looks, I have been secretly spectating, on occasion, throughout the competition. And, wow! What a rollercoaster ride seeing each of you dominate the cycle. I adore every designer in this cycle, but I applaud you, final 3, for making it to the end. That being said, here are my thoughts for the fashion line of Cycle 6:
wishflower — Maeve: Dear wishflower (Dee), my fellow K-Pop lover, your love for the fashion that the genre brings, you have consistently shown throughout your entries. Despite the varied challenges that came your way, you managed to keep your brand and aesthetic upfront, and execute each look to a T. Your entries always manage to bring a smile to my face, as I always enjoy every look that you bring each challenge. Bagging 2 wins back to back, especially nearing the end, it was such a clutch move on your end, and I couldn't be more impressed than I already was, so that's saying a lot about your designs.
As for your finale collection, I can already tell at first glance that you've had a blast creating your fashion line. This collection is just so colourful and fun to look at. This is your peak entry yet, and as it should be, since it's the finale. The colours, the patterns, the clothing and the accessories overload. It's quite a lot to look at, but every single element on each item of every model works harmoniously. Not to mention, the make-up on each model is just chef's kiss. I love the bright colours on everyone, especially the Zanna and Lourdes. The colours pop so nicely on them.
Silhouette-wise, I am living for what Zanna has going on, personally. Maybe overshadowing your main model, Maeve, by just a smidge, but that comment can be applied to any model in this collection because of how detailed every outfit is. Arden looks uber stylish and cool, Harper looks adorable and chic, and Lourdes' outfit just screams fun and fashionable. But, if I were to give a negative comment, it'd be nice to see Maeve, your main model, be in a background setting that shows off that she's the centrepiece of the collection, but that aside, this is one heck of a fashion line.
ThoughtsofaDame — Naomi: My fair Dame, how excited I am to see you back stronger than ever. Knowing you from last cycle, and seeing your work on this one, I already see you as a strong contender from the jump, but I can tell that you've evolved as a designer. I'm giddy with joy seeing you, not only make it to the finale, but dominate the competition while climbing your way to the top, with 2 wins under your belt. Knowing what we know of how you're doing in the making of your collection, it's all the more reason for me to give you the flowers that you deserve. You are amazing, Dame.
I admire that your collection resonates with you. I love the colour choices on every single model. It suits them nicely. That being said, I do find the witch concept to be quite simple, and seeing the looks individually and altogether, comparing it to your fellow competitors, this fashion line leaves a lot to be desired. My main gripe of this is that Naomi, being your main model, doesn't feel like the grand high witch that I expected her to be, because the other models have way more interesting textures and silhouettes going on, compared to Naomi.
I appreciate the thought of her outfit being the combined version of everyone else's outfits, but it didn't hit as hard as I would've liked it to. As for your other models, Lourdes, with that shade of purple and gold, is just exquisite. Speaking of golds, Priya looks like one expensive witch with that colour scheme, and the sihouette is no less. Kimber looks stunning, giving swamp witch. And Jolene looks like she's the only dark lady, coming for Morticia's gig. Don't get me wrong, Naomi looks amazing, but just fell short, given that she's your main model. And for what this serves, this is still a high-tier collection.
Picaru — Pearl: Picaru (Maxie), my darling. When I think of your designs, the words "ethereal", "polished", and "perfection" come to mind. My fellow judges seem to agree with me on that, given that, to my knowledge, you're the first ever designer to bag a 3 in a row win on a cycle. That is one heck of an achievement, and if that doesn't say a statement about your skills, then maybe the fact that you made it to the finale should. Your entries are just drop-dead gorgeous. You deserve every praise, because you always deliver and serve.
Admittedly, I do find the floral concept of your fashion line on the less creative side, but seeing how much the flowers from your walks inspire you, and how much you appreciate the beauty of nature, I am moved. Every single outfit here in your collection devoured and left no crumbs. The colours you chose for every model fit them perfectly. Everyone looks ethereal. I am in love with Cressida with those touches of yellow, looking like the sun goddess that she is. Lourdes looks adorable dancing around in the rain. Imani looks beautiful and graceful. Marina looks like the prettiest fairy that ever lived.
Your main model, Pearl, looks stunning. You successfully fused every main element of the other models' outfits into Pearl's. I do think that her outfit leans toward the bulkier side, especially on the bottom. Maybe there is too much fabric, but I love the silhouette. Very grandiose, very fitting for your main model. Overall, this is quite the collection you presented, Pearl. It's quintessentially you, in a fashion line form. I'm quite pleased with your work.

Though I feel like making all the models so colourful and intense makes them lose some identity and uniqueness. Maybe it's just me, but I cannot really focus on the designs. They look like a mesh of tacky colours and patterns, which is the intention, but I just see no cohesiveness. It seems like Wish just threw a bunch of random stuff and called it done. I read the descriptions, I understand the choices, but I just... don't agree with them. I think it might be just not my style, to be honest.
The only model I kind of like is Lourdes, which might be partially because I think her makeup and pose work well with her features. With others, I am struggling to find some of their body parts - I thought Arden's pants were veeery baggy, only to realise it's the branch behind her; with Harper, at first I thought she had her arms crossed, then that she had no arms!
Nonetheless, I can see that Wish definitely improved over time. Even if we don't agree fashion-wise, I see how their designs became cleaner, without filter overuse. And I do like how Wish's first entry was K-pop based and their final one is too. Nice callback!

I always enjoy reading more about the designers and their thought process. I also enjoy how every model has a clear aesthetic theme and colour scheme going for her. Though this collection feels a bit underwhelming and generic in comparison to other works of Dame. I would also agree that Naomi has the least interesting outfit/silhouette in the lineup.
Personally, I think the outfits I like the most would be Lourdes' and Priya's. Lourdes looks stunning in purple, and the gold accents are perfect for her. Meanwhile, Priya just looks gorgeous, I just a-d-o-r-e how she looks. And the little tidbit that Dame's cousin was the inspiration for Priya's look is so adorable!
The ones I am not too fond of are Naomi, Jolene and Kimber. Well, for Kimber, I have mixed feelings: I like the outfit a lot, but it just doesn't match Kimber for me. I think maybe more vibrant colours would've looked better with her? Jolene has a nice outfit, but it's so very generic that I end up not liking it. I think Dame could've made her even more goth!
Overall, I think this collection is nice, but I just think Dame held back too much. I feel like it didn't show us her full potential. I think she could do much more, which she already showed us in other entries.
Picaru's collection is my personal favourite, I like every aspect of it. It just fits a lot more with styles I enjoy, so I guess I am biased, haha. It's very aesthetically pleasing and looks well-thought-out. It's not the most creative when it comes to theme ideas, but it's still enjoyable.
Honestly, I enjoyed all the outfits and colours chosen for the models. My favourite picks would probably be Imani, Lourdes, and Pearl. I adore the soft colours on Imani and how she actually reminds me of the morning fog; even without the description, I would've been able to pick up on the vibes. Lourdes' outfit is perfect, and I especially like the raindrops coming out from her skirt; it also reminds me of a jellyfish! Pearl looks breathtaking and colourful. I adore how all the elements from other models were mixed in to create her final look.
When it comes to things I don't like as much, it would be mostly colour matching for Marina's oranges and Cressida's accessories and the background. But these issues aren't big enough for me to not enjoy their outfits.
